Usually I go to a Japanese place in Upland but we decided to try this restaurant after a break of several years.Certain menu items were excellent. The tempura was delicious. Sashimi was fresh and tasty. Side salad was good.Other items, not so good. The calamari was tough and chewy. The teriyaki chicken, what both my wife and I ordered, was overcooked and just plain bad. I've been going here for years and this place does not disappoint! The food is fresh and prepared perfectly. The restaurant is small and offers outdoor seating with fire pits. The service is great and the food is amazing. I ordered the firecracker wontons, baked yellowtail collar and cucumber crab salad, all my favorite dishes. Parking isn't too convenient but not that bad. I would definitely recommend this place, the freshness and quality of food is excellent.
