“A Hidden Gem That Feels Like the French Quarter Itself! From the moment we stepped into The Quarter in Claremont, it was like being whisked straight to New Orleans. The atmosphere was electric — the scent of Creole spices in the air, the soft hum of conversation mingled with jazz playing in the background, and the decor that looked plucked right out of the French Quarter. I half-expected to walk outside and find a brass band on the corner! We started with the soft-shelled crab and grits, perfectly crisp and full of Southern comfort. The fried catfish topped with crawfish étouffée was rich, flavorful, and absolutely indulgent — pure Louisiana soul on a plate. The roasted catfish with lump crab was delicate yet decadent, each bite melting in your mouth. Even the bread and butter were unforgettable — the sweet Creole butter was so good we could’ve made a meal out of it alone. Our bourbon cocktails were spot-on — smooth, balanced, and crafted with care — and we finished with the bread pudding drizzled in warm bourbon sauce, which was heavenly. Every dish was layered with flavor and heart. A special shoutout to José, our server, who was not only attentive and friendly but truly made us feel like family. His recommendations were perfect! We live three and a half hours away, but honestly, I’d make the drive again just for a date night here. It’s that good. The Quarter doesn’t just serve food — it serves an experience.”

“Dined in Friday night with my husband and some friends. Didn't take long to be sat inside. Our waitress was Ashley. She was very patient, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu as we had a lot of questions. She almost had my husband sold on the weekend pork chop special they had that was off the menu, but there was no way he could finish that on his own and I had my heart set on the brisket! Ashley checked on us multiple times until she had to take a break and Kaitlyn took over for a little bit. She was very friendly with a big bright smile. All around pleasant time. Drinks and food were yummy. We will be back!”

“I’ve been to plenty of fast-casual spots, but my recent visit to Dave’s Hot Chicken stood out, and that was entirely because of Yeffrey and Isaac. Great food brings you in, but the people behind the counter decide whether you come back. These two made sure I will.
Yeffrey was on it from the moment I walked in. He was friendly and upbeat, and he took the time to make sure my order was right without making me feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely enjoys helping people, and it makes a difference.
Isaac was just as impressive. He kept things moving efficiently while still bringing real energy and warmth to the job. It’s obvious he cares about the customer experience, not just getting orders out the door.
What stood out most was how well they worked together. The whole place felt welcoming and well run, and that kind of atmosphere comes from employees who take pride in their work. The chicken was excellent too, but Yeffrey and Isaac made the visit memorable.

The cake was impeccably crafted and the designers decorated it in exactly the manner in which we requested, “Not too much.” The frosting was strikingly smooth and the piping adorned only the bottom of the cake, ensuring the decoration was not too much. The colors of the yellow and red roses and the green leaves on top of the cake were tastefully muted and maintained the minimal emphasis of the decorations. It was a spice cake in which all the flavors blended perfectly without one flavor standing out too predominantly. It was delivered exactly at the time it was scheduled to arrive at the location. I highly recommend this bakery when you have an occasion that requires a specialty cake.”

“Ironbark is a very nice local brewery! They make and serve hard cider, there are some other drinks available and food trucks visit on the weekends with a variety of cuisine. There are musical events, pub, trivia, bingo, and Friday karaoke, as well as a monthly open mic night. It is a great friendly café type atmosphere and an LGBTQ+ safe space!”

“Stopped here off the highway for a quick lunch on a roadtrip. This place is amazing for a meal that’s not too filling and leaves you satisfied. Portion sizes are giant for the price! I had the grilled salmon with penne pasta and a salad and it was delicious. The salmon is thin cut. This was a perfect meal for us that wasn’t too heavy. The salad was super refreshing and the dressing was tasty. There’s a tiny parking lot in back if you’re lucky. Be prepared to street park.”

“I have been in several Peruvian restaurants in LA, but like Inka Trails, no other. This is the closest you can taste peru. The quality, the service and most of it the Peruvian experience every time you go there. The owner Patty is always catering to you to make sure you have the best of Inka Trails. I was a little confused because it says Aladdin but the sign outside says burgers 🤣 Glad I walked out to look for it. Ordered a chicken kabob. It was about $30 with the extra chicken kabob, but it was a hefty meal. The plate came with rice, grilled veggies, hummus, pita, and a green salad. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Everything was tasty, even the garlic sauce and taziki sauce. Glad I tried it out.”

Don't be fooled by the unassuming (and sometimes unlit sign), the food is tasty, the portions are quite generous, and the service is impressive. Just don't forget to add seasoning like the MSG, lobster sauce, and garlic to give your dish a good balanced flavor.

Prices are fair, 50 bucks for 2 very large
bowl, which will easily become 2 more meals, so I would say it's about $12.50 a person/meal.

Note that if you’re used to the traditional tang of froyo, this place does them mixed on a cold stone so it ends up tasting more custard-y. I told him what my order was and I was a little surprised at how I was being charged; most places charge me for a tall cup of sweet cream-like milk, but Dom did not overcharge me. He charged me for a short cup. This is the first Starbucks that has gotten it right in a while. My drinks were made quickly by a gentleman named Dallas, and my food was ordered promptly as well by a gentleman named Daniel. I will continue to come back to Starbucks because of the service and the attention to detail when charging customers. I usually don’t buy from corporate coffee, but because the store is so friendly and charges correctly, I will support this business. I also did purchase a cup toddler and I asked about the new Starbucks release Snoopy cups and Dom provided information regarding the cup release.”

“I've been here many times but the last few have been great - a shoutout to Homer - he's a congenial fellow and fun bartender. He manages to juggle front of house, tasks, refills, and being sociable very well.

One thing - do not sleep on the breakfast burritos. They're very good and quite filling. I'd get them more often but I have to be super hungry.

The food slaps when you want a hot dog or fried chicken. I prefer all beef hot dogs and these taste great. Today I tried their sliders with miso ranch and they really hit the spot after work. I typically get the chili idol dog but the MBC sliders were yummy! Their tots are a favorite as well.

I used to study outside where there is plenty of space. They have a fun and broad beer and drink selection - including seasonal and specialty drinks. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking. You can come here and watch tv, listen to the fun music, or play nostalgic board games & I believe they now do events, though I haven't been to one. All in all not a bad spot with wonderful service and classic, nostalgic food!”

“I had a get experience here. I told Kylia a new employee it was my first time. He explained all my options or a custom pizza tailored to my eating taste.
I chose the bbq chicken gluten free pizza with peppers.
This pizza tasted better than most other pizza places. I enjoyed it. I was also asked if I wanted ranch dressing on top.
