“A Hidden Gem That Feels Like the French Quarter Itself! From the moment we stepped into The Quarter in Claremont, it was like being whisked straight to New Orleans. The atmosphere was electric — the scent of Creole spices in the air, the soft hum of conversation mingled with jazz playing in the background, and the decor that looked plucked right out of the French Quarter. I half-expected to walk outside and find a brass band on the corner! We started with the soft-shelled crab and grits, perfectly crisp and full of Southern comfort. The fried catfish topped with crawfish étouffée was rich, flavorful, and absolutely indulgent — pure Louisiana soul on a plate. The roasted catfish with lump crab was delicate yet decadent, each bite melting in your mouth. Even the bread and butter were unforgettable — the sweet Creole butter was so good we could’ve made a meal out of it alone. Our bourbon cocktails were spot-on — smooth, balanced, and crafted with care — and we finished with the bread pudding drizzled in warm bourbon sauce, which was heavenly. Every dish was layered with flavor and heart. A special shoutout to José, our server, who was not only attentive and friendly but truly made us feel like family. His recommendations were perfect! We live three and a half hours away, but honestly, I’d make the drive again just for a date night here. It’s that good. The Quarter doesn’t just serve food — it serves an experience.”

There are musical events, pub, trivia, bingo, and Friday karaoke, as well as a monthly open mic night. It is a great friendly café type atmosphere and an LGBTQ+ safe space!”

I had the grilled salmon with penne pasta and a salad and it was delicious. The salmon is thin cut. This was a perfect meal for us that wasn’t too heavy. The salad was super refreshing and the dressing was tasty. There’s a tiny parking lot in back if you’re lucky. Be prepared to street park.”

“I’ve spent most of my life in the San Fernando Valley, where there are more places to eat than I could ever count. So when I find myself driving back to the same restaurant two or three times a week, that says something.

Ginkgo Chinese Restaurant has become one of those places for me. The food is consistently good, the service is always welcoming, and after a while it starts to feel less like a restaurant and more like a familiar stop in my week.

I’m not writing this to promote the business. I simply wanted to say thank you to the people who work here. Good food brings people in the first time. Good people are what keep them coming back.

And with block ice in it rather than a small amount of chipped ice, the drink was gone in a sip. And for $5.25. Please note that the standard size for this drink is a Grande. With only one size option available, people will expect that size. The TALL is so small. Nice atmosphere and kind staff, so I did not complain as I don't seek to make workers feel bad for something that is not their fault. I will stick to the main stores in the area though, since this is the only drink I get.”

We were traveling to LA for the Harry Styles’ shows and ordered the cherry pants and added expedited shipping so they would arrive before we had to catch our plane. Two days out and still no pants. First disappointment, this place doesn’t just sell the only meat, either a pita sandwich or a plate, which I need since I made my own sides. Second disappointment after order something I wanted since you don’t sell just the meat, my order was so over cooked and dry, the cooked seems to and extra sauce to make moist again- pretty disappointed. “6/18/26…Dog Haus Claremont, CA…Came here this morning on the Grand Reopening Day as they are under new ownership. They opened at 8 am with their new menus. I got one of their Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos and a glass of Orange Juice! So my burrito of choice was the new Chimichanga burrito. Lemme tell you…It was incredibly great! From the texture of the Award winning Mejorado flour tortilla fried to all the items in it including three scrambled eggs, tater tots, bacon, sage breakfast sausage, white American cheese, miso ranch, and maple sriracha. This burrito packs a punch of great flavors that come together so well! The service here by Garrick at the front counter and Malik who served me, they both show great customer service!!! The restaurant is always nice and inviting. It was very clean. Love that the World Cup soccer 2026 games were already on! This is always a great go-to spot for me! Highly recommend! Also, come tonight for the Grand Opening Celebration at 6 pm on 6/18/26 and they have a live band playing! See you here!!!”

“Most boba places all taste the same, but their QUALITY sets them apart. The honey boba was SHOCKINGLY perfect. Not toooo chewy, slightly sweet, not hard. All the different tea flavors have been perfect.

Got the Watermelon Smash and Passionfruit Sour and then got the tenders and fries basket. The tenders my friend ordered def were bigger and he got more, mine was like 2.5 tenders as the third piece was not a full size tender but his were decent portions. Not sure if they go by weight or quantity 🤷‍♂. I like the ambience though and it is a nice chill spot for food and drinks.”
