“Scrumptious, moist, and irresistible describes the cake I ordered from Some Crust for my mother’s memorial service reception. The cake was impeccably crafted and the designers decorated it in exactly the manner in which we requested, “Not too much.” The frosting was strikingly smooth and the piping adorned only the bottom of the cake, ensuring the decoration was not too much. The colors of the yellow and red roses and the green leaves on top of the cake were tastefully muted and maintained the minimal emphasis of the decorations. It was a spice cake in which all the flavors blended perfectly without one flavor standing out too predominantly. It was delivered exactly at the time it was scheduled to arrive at the location. I highly recommend this bakery when you have an occasion that requires a specialty cake.“

“This is a small Lebanese joint with a busy oven. It’s technically a bakery. It’s like you went to the Middle East in a Beirut neighborhood or Egyptian or Saudi strip mall. The food is traditional Lebanese and has an Arabic influence. Pies, veggies and lebnah, very tasty at great prices. This is a rare find and I think for Claremont it’a a beauty to have such a rare shop in its back yard.“

The cafe was cluttered but sold some unique packaged snacks. We got great coffee though and that’s what matters!!“

“I was given the task of getting a birthday cake, last minute. I really didn't think I would find anything and figured I'd have to settle for store bought (which can be a hit or miss). I took a chance and called Colee's, she's so nice, and guess what, she took the order for that same weekend. We worked out the details and I picked it up soon after. Let me just say, everything from the jump was already 5 stars, and then we cut the cake...delicious! The cake was moist, the buttercream was delicious and the design was exactly what I asked for. “came here and tried their minis. they were a little costly, but a nice occasional treat. i got the semi-sweet chocolate chunk, cookie dough, and blueberry muffin, which all looked like the picture. i think the warm cookies were the best, and the more recently they come out of the oven the better. service was great and friendly, store was clean.“

“I am literally here ALL THE TIME! I purchase bread for new neighbors that move into our area... I like to place the Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar and a loaf of bread in a bag as a housewarming gift. I do recommend you call ahead or come early.

The Miche is my favorite for grilled cheese sandwiches on the panini grill. Lemon Rosemary is another savory favorite as well as the recently added Cranberry Jalapeno.

“I was looking for an Oreo cake and this is the only bakery that had one near me. It’s inside the grocery store, near the right side entrance. Everything looked delicious and fresh. But best of all is the service! The kind man that helped me was so sweet and even gave me a few baked goods to go for free. It really touched my heart. Will definitely be back and recommend.“

“I visit this shop every other week for a loaf of their delicious sourdough bread. This time, I decided to try their pumpkin coffee cake as well, and it did not disappoint! They offer a variety of sourdough flavors, and every one I’ve tried so far has been fantastic. The pumpkin bread, in particular, was phenomenal! The store is always clean and well-organized, with a tempting selection of sweets. They also have sandwiches on the menu, which I haven’t tried yet, but I’m looking forward to it on my next visit. So when he gets there, he is getting Conchas and quernos, and he asks her if there is any more bolillo and guess what she said: "Yes, I have a couple left. These are the last ones and they are the small ones. My son brings them home, and they are the big ones. I am glad she gave them to my son. My son is a handsome boy and courteous, so I think she liked him. And gave him those last pieces. That was a blessing. Their bolillo is so good. Mmm. I loved their bread so much that I now must go there to get my bread.

Their tamales are delicious as well! 🫔

And I love their empanadas🥟 with custard.

Their cheesecake is delicious too!

They also have a fridge selling sparkling water, jarritos, Jumex, gallons of milk,🥛 juice, 🧃bed quick, and ofc canned sodas too.

They have comfortable indoor seating booths too!

And when you come in it smells so good 😊 👍!.

I absolutely recommend this panadería to anyone who needs/wants bread, tamales, birria, pan, or pan dulce!!!

Vegetarian options: Most all breads are vegetarian with the exception of some dishes that have meat, but are clearly labeled.

Dietary restrictions: They have multiple lower sugar breads, and most of their items are vegetarian. But I'm not sure if there are vegan items as well.

Parking: Street Parking, difficult to find parking as they are always popular.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They can smell the breads and eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide enough to go in with wheelchair but there's no wheelchair seating I noticed.“

“We stopped by MtSAC and tried this area out! The bakery is super convenient with super friendly owners. Give it a try. We got the caramel crisp and it's not really caramel-y but still good! It's more like a cheese Danish flavor, not too sweet but a little cheesy.“

Drove over and it appears the original location was in the indoor swap meet; but due to covid, they placed a popup location out in the parking lot. Line moved quickly and you had churros that could be filled up with dulce de leche, lechera o de fresa. I picked the lechera. Flavor was good, only problem was that the lechera didn't really stay inside the churro; it just dripped out the bottom.“
