I went with the recommended jasmine yuzu chiffon cake and honestly I wasn't impressed for $18/slice. I also tried the strawberry something lemonade and it was ok. Prices are on the higher end. Place is clean. Service is good/normal. We were allowed to stay there for a couple of hours while we ate cake and had drinks, which was a plus. Surprinsingly, the place wasn't crowded for a Sunday afternoon.
The Jasmine/Yuzu and Orange Poppy chiffon cakes are my favorite ones to date! The Black Tea is a close second. The cakes here are also toddler-friendly and not too sweet which is so appreciated. Service is excellent as always!!!
Picked up a cheesecake to go and had a great experience. The atmosphere in the diner is really chill, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I got the blueberry cheesecake—it wasn’t too sweet and I really enjoyed it. They also let me sample their orange chiffon cake, which completely blew me away. So flavorful and light. I’ll definitely be coming back.
