Risen Kabob and Pastries Reviews
I have been here 4 times already since grand opening on Aug 10th! It's a nice, simple place with great breakfast and lunch foods. Open Monday thru Saturday. Closed Sundays! I like the falafel sandwich, baklava, French croissant, and chicken hummus plate! Coffee they make is good! Stop by and try!!!
Great chicken shawarma sandwiches and desserts. Try the cheesecake and pistachio cake.
I wasn’t even hungry and I inhaled their grilled eggplant pita sandwich. I will be back!

Risen Kabob and Pastries is a little family owned, hole in the wall place in Upland with delicious pastries and Mediterranean food. They also serve breakfast. The Italian eggplant sandwich is a must have, served in a freshly baked pita bread. The food delivers high quality with authentic flavor. The pita is homemade and delicious. The veggies, meat, and rice are fantastic. The Kufta ground beef and chicken Shawarma are fresh and tasty. The kabab is juicy, and the Shawarma wrap is comparable to the best in Anaheim. The Walnut pistachio baklava is amazing, fresh, light, and delicious. They make fresh cheesecake, and the San Sebastián cheesecake is an absolute favorite. There is outdoor patio seating with plenty of seating, and the atmosphere is comfortable. The owner is always at the store and is friendly, with wonderful hospitality. Desserts are homemade, fresh, and authentic. Prices are reasonable.
