“A Hidden Gem That Feels Like the French Quarter Itself! From the moment we stepped into The Quarter in Claremont, it was like being whisked straight to New Orleans. The atmosphere was electric — the scent of Creole spices in the air, the soft hum of conversation mingled with jazz playing in the background, and the decor that looked plucked right out of the French Quarter. I half-expected to walk outside and find a brass band on the corner! We started with the soft-shelled crab and grits, perfectly crisp and full of Southern comfort. The fried catfish topped with crawfish étouffée was rich, flavorful, and absolutely indulgent — pure Louisiana soul on a plate. The roasted catfish with lump crab was delicate yet decadent, each bite melting in your mouth. Even the bread and butter were unforgettable — the sweet Creole butter was so good we could’ve made a meal out of it alone. Our bourbon cocktails were spot-on — smooth, balanced, and crafted with care — and we finished with the bread pudding drizzled in warm bourbon sauce, which was heavenly. Every dish was layered with flavor and heart. A special shoutout to José, our server, who was not only attentive and friendly but truly made us feel like family. His recommendations were perfect! We live three and a half hours away, but honestly, I’d make the drive again just for a date night here. It’s that good. The Quarter doesn’t just serve food — it serves an experience.“

“I LOVED LOVED this place. I definitely had my doubts pulling up to this windowless and closed looking restaurant. But once I walked into the bustling dining room, I had a feeling it would be good. The prices for dinner were on the steeper side, but the meal size and value was worth every penny.

Our meal started with a vegetarian cabbage soup, egg roll and chicken wonton. Afterwards, we went up to the buffet to build our bowls. I was skeptical because I had not had this kind of meal before, but i was pleasantly surprised after loading the bowl with meat, veggies, and sauces that the plate was massive. It was fun watching the cook stir fry the food on the grill. After we got our plates the staff brought around Fry Bread. The portions were massive so I had a whole other meal the next day.

“Stopped here off the highway for a quick lunch on a roadtrip. This place is amazing for a meal that’s not too filling and leaves you satisfied. Portion sizes are giant for the price! I had the grilled salmon with penne pasta and a salad and it was delicious. The salmon is thin cut. This was a perfect meal for us that wasn’t too heavy. The salad was super refreshing and the dressing was tasty. There’s a tiny parking lot in back if you’re lucky. Be prepared to street park.“

“Their dumplings are so flavorful and their prices are so affordable! I always order the pork xiao long baos and also recommend the pan fried pork dumplings, any of the wonton dishes, and the cucumber salad! Out of their dessert buns I like their sesame buns the best, then the sweet custard, then the red bean. I don't order them as much because I get too full on savory dumplings, but really recommend getting them if you have room.

They usually don't have any music playing, but the foos comes out so fast that I don't mind the silence in the restaurant, which is only the case when no other patrons are seated.

Xiao Long Bao - so juicy, so flavorful, perfect amount of filling. I love these so much and they are definitely my favorite dish from here! 10/10

Pan Fried Pork Dumplings - very juicy for a pan fried dumpling, but somehow still so crispy! 9.5/10

Wonton Soup - I prefer their wonton soup over their spicy ones because it's much more flavorful with the broth! 9/10

Dan Dan Noodles - so flavorful, packed with meat, great sharing dish! I always order it if I'm eating with 3+ others 9/10

Cucumber Salad - Love how the cucumbers aren't too vinegar tasting as I don't enjoy pickle flavors much, but definitely add some soy sauce and chili oil to make the dish even tastier 8.5/10

Spicy Wontons - I wish there was more flavor added than just spicy for their spicy wontons, and their not as spicy as I would like 8/10“

This is a great place to meet clients for lunch or dinner because it is quiet and you can probably utilize the lounge areas outside. A great Claremont meeting place!“

“Came for empanadas and left with yummy kabobs. Waldo was super funny and nice and I preferred his sauce over Mariam’s since he asked. Didn’t expect the middle eastern food to be that good but it was. Can’t wait to come back. He also gave us warak Eineb on the house and it was pretty good. Better warmed up like he did.“

First disappointment, this place doesn’t just sell the only meat, either a pita sandwich or a plate, which I need since I made my own sides. Second disappointment after order something I wanted since you don’t sell just the meat, my order was so over cooked and dry, the cooked seems to and extra sauce to make moist again- pretty disappointed. The service was great, just the quality of food was horrible.“

I've been enjoying it for the last 4 years while my son was going to Pomona College but now that he's graduated, I enjoyed my last bowl of their ramen yesterday. We also tried the soup, but it was a bit underwhelming and could have used more flavor. “6/18/26…Dog Haus Claremont, CA…Came here this morning on the Grand Reopening Day as they are under new ownership. They opened at 8 am with their new menus. I got one of their Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos and a glass of Orange Juice! So my burrito of choice was the new Chimichanga burrito. Lemme tell you…It was incredibly great! From the texture of the Award winning Mejorado flour tortilla fried to all the items in it including three scrambled eggs, tater tots, bacon, sage breakfast sausage, white American cheese, miso ranch, and maple sriracha. This burrito packs a punch of great flavors that come together so well! The service here by Garrick at the front counter and Malik who served me, they both show great customer service!!! The restaurant is always nice and inviting. It was very clean. Love that the World Cup soccer 2026 games were already on! This is always a great go-to spot for me! Highly recommend! Also, come tonight for the Grand Opening Celebration at 6 pm on 6/18/26 and they have a live band playing! See you here!!!“
