“My family has been going here for the past 3 years and we still love it. My 4 and 6 year old ask for it for their birthdays every year. Our go to order is usually the wonton soup with heavy edits, the route 66 sub, three flavors, spicy chacha, and either the quinoa salad or the joyful fried rice. And the cakes are so good, we always get either the panda or the ube. The owners used to have a spot in Pasadena but moved over here.“

“My family was traveling from Arizona to California and had the incredibly good fortune of finding Damasquino Mediterranean Restaurant. My son's a vegetarian and I'm essentially carnivore. We both were over the moon happy with the meals prepared by the owner. I am not kidding when I say don't walk to this restaurant - RUN. The food is out of this world. It's not a fancy sit down, but it's a comfy homey feeling with chairs and tables outside. The food is authentic in every way. The owner is one of the most kind, gracious hosts you will find. His one concern, and his staff all have the same attitude, is your happiness and satisfaction. Well it's an easy task for him, as the food is the best mediterranean food you will find without traveling to the middle east...and even then....I don't think you could find food as flavorful. Give them a try and you can thank me later. I'm literally checking my business calendar to see when my travels take me back to SoCal so I can go to Damasquino Mediterranean Restaurant again.“

You can see in the textures that some of the more time intensive food is prepared by hand and not canned.
Benedict was great, coffee tastes like a decent brew I'd make at home, not instant and no cut corners in the kitchen.

“As a Greek myself, I have to say good Greek food is HARD to find, and Grape Leaf absolutely delivered! 🇬🇷 Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, fresh, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. From the salmon and Greek salad to the potatoes, pita, dips, everything was SO good.

The prices are right add meals are cooked quickly. I just discovered that if I use apps to order from my cell and pick up that they offered two-for-one deals. “Oh I love going here. Food is top-notch and tastes so good. Just as good as the stuff my grandma used to make us as. Kids. You can't go wrong with their taquitos with guacamole n cheese. Best things to add or try are the guacamole, rice and the beans. Any one of these 3 items will make your plate. It's so good. I can live off their bean and cheese burritos which I probably do. Nice drink selection. From fountain drinks, bottles or cans. No alcohol tho. That's a good thing. The staff is always friendly and courteous and kind. They're always very interactive with some of their regulars. People like coming here The speed and quickness of their cooks is amazing and the food tastes so good. I don't know how they do it. I hope this place sticks around for a long time. Without it I'd probably starve.“

“Unfortunately today there was a blip in my son’s chile verde burrito. First of all he ordered a Chili Relleno Burrito and it had Chile Verde on it. So he thought ok. But it was a pork burrito! I told him to ask them for what I ordered. He blew it off. He regretted his decision. The pork meat was very dry and bland and so was the sauce. I tasted it and I agreed. Then I ordered Topo Chico soda water usual charge is $3.75. This time they charged $4.75. Why? Last Friday a young man served us our soda water in a nicely decorated Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. With an umbrella too. So cute. Our server said he wanted to make it worth your $3.75. I ordered the same thing today mind you. But this time the owner charged it as a Whiskey Shot…huh?!? So my son was charged an additional $1 for serving my soda water in a pretty Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. 🍋‍🟩 So where was the Whiskey! 😂“

“Had the 3 carnitas tacos plate with rice and beans. Carnitas were some of the best I've tasted. Rice and beans were good too. I don't know why but they add whole beans to the tacos. They were good but next time I know to ask for the tacos without the beans.“

“Every year after the Glendora All Class Reunion Picnic in October, members of the graduating class of 1969 aim to meet up for a more intimate visit at Club House 66. We started it the weekend of our 50th High School Reunion with dinner the night before our formal gala. We had our 70th birthday on the beautiful patio there 2 years later with a wonderful buffet dinner. We no longer have a committee planned reunion but we have committed to trying to make the Annual All Class Picnic and then having a no host gathering on the Club House 66 patio. This year there were 14 of us,74 year old, coming by after a day at Finkbiner Park to have drinks and dinner on a warm Indian Summer night to reminisce with childhood friends. Our server was Ruth and she was delightful and her team made us feel like royalty. They set up the table to greet the group and kept the drinks flowing , the water glasses full and brought us delicious food as we ordered it thoughout the night. Ruth made sure we each had our own bill. We didn’t even have to ask. We interacted with the other friendly families out on the patio and we all felt like we had come “home”. It was the perfect ending to a great day spent laughing about childhood memories and our journeys into adulthood. We will be back next year and plan to celebrate our Class of 1969’s 75th Birthday right there on that picturesque patio. Thank you Clubhouse 66, Ruth and the whole team who made us feel so special. ♥️“
