“I usually use the drive thru. This is a great spot and they pay close attention to my picky order requests. I love the non MSG food and can not believe the bad reviews from Millenial impatient brats. Take a breath and know it is being made fresh and stop crying about how long mommy took to make you lunch.Dietary restrictions: no sugar. hold the secret sauce.“
“OMG! If you were around in the 70's and 80's and remember going to Foster's Freeze, get ready for a time warp. Prices are not what they once were (duh), but the food is just as good if not BETTER! Burgers were awesome, and then, of course, we had to get my husband's favorite Chocolate Malt“
“Talk about the best comfort food! You're greeted with a smile, not only is the food FANTASTIC, they serve a generous amount!!! With the surge of prices happening wherever you go, rest assured you'll get your money's worth here. I moved from here 19 years ago and when I'm in town.... I'm here at the Village Eatery!! Excellent!!!!! ❤“
“Excellent drinks and food. Very friendly staff. There’s a bar area that appears to be popular - we were in dining room. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely go there again.Parking: Lots of space but may be more crowded on weekend. We were there on a Thursday.“
“I know I've said it before and I'll keep on saying it, these are the best biscuits and gravy around. Comfort food for these cold rainy mornings. Service is also outstanding. The whole staff treat you like family, maybe it's because we've been going there ever since we moved to the area 30+ years ago.“
“My first time here.. and I loved it...kudos to Scarlett and her mother for being great servers. Coffee was great. Zucchini bread super good ..nice and warm..Owner was very presentable. Food was very good..place was clean. And even the Cook smiled at us ..I'LL BE BACK.“
“It was my first time coming to this restaurant and I'm glad I did. I had the eggs benedict and they were fantastic!! Holiday sauce was very flavorful, poached eggs were perfect and the ham was very generous . Also tried the French toast which was great. Definitely will be back and absolutely recommend this “
“Cute restaurant. Ordered breakfast burritos, and they are substantial but ordinary. The service was generic, with workers only interested in each others conversation. The decor is quite interesting with lots to look at and teach/talk about to a younger generation.“
“Excellent eatery! Very kind waitress, good alternative music. Came in with a group of 8 and had a really good experience. We ate outside and it was a little chilly but they have outdoor heaters ☺️. Really good portions, exceptional quality! Highly recommend ?“
“The aguachile steak is my favorite. It has so much flavor. The servers were so nice and attentive. The bartenders made it fun at the bar too. The outdoor patio is pretty nice. We actually decided to move outside, even though it was a bit cold out that day, because we wanted to enjoy the fireplace. After a while it got a little too cold. The manager actually came out and set up heaters just for us. It was perfect.Parking: There is more than enough parking space“
“Located in "The Village" of downtown Glendora. Calm atmosphere, outdoor dining, not a whole lot of auto traffic, kid friendly.....Now the food. House made potato chips, yes please! Pulled bbq pork on atrisan bread....excellent. Choice of salads as well, mixed greens, ceasar etc. Beer? Yes'um. Several small craft choices and yeah...the usual light stuff too.“
“Lovely outdoor space to have breakfast or lunch, but the service was lacking & everyone was a little awkward to interact with. The food was solid, I enjoyed my corned beef hash breakfast, my husband enjoyed his BLT and my Grandma enjoyed her grilled cheese. Both of them had wanted soup & sandwich combo, but they only had one soup option of chicken sausage gumbo “I think” the waitress shared.“
“The pulled pork sandwich was a bit better than average, you can tell the meat was a good quality. The tots were served really hot and not greasy at all (maybe they air fry?)But the stand out here is the chili. This is in the chili cook off award winning category. It's dark inside, I guess it's an atmosphere choice, but at least they don't have the awkwardly high ceilings that makes places like this way too noisy. We did have to ask for utensils for the salad my friend had, but otherwise they were attentive.“
“First time customers, best food ever! Don’t let the portions fool you!! It’s A LOT. Coffee was fresh, and food was tasty. Had the pineapple pancakes and my fiance had the stuffed French toast. 10/10 would come back, especially on a weekday.“
