“Every year after the Glendora All Class Reunion Picnic in October, members of the graduating class of 1969 aim to meet up for a more intimate visit at Club House 66. We started it the weekend of our 50th High School Reunion with dinner the night before our formal gala. We had our 70th birthday on the beautiful patio there 2 years later with a wonderful buffet dinner. We no longer have a committee planned reunion but we have committed to trying to make the Annual All Class Picnic and then having a no host gathering on the Club House 66 patio. This year there were 14 of us,74 year old, coming by after a day at Finkbiner Park to have drinks and dinner on a warm Indian Summer night to reminisce with childhood friends. Our server was Ruth and she was delightful and her team made us feel like royalty. They set up the table to greet the group and kept the drinks flowing , the water glasses full and brought us delicious food as we ordered it thoughout the night. Ruth made sure we each had our own bill. We didn’t even have to ask. We interacted with the other friendly families out on the patio and we all felt like we had come “home”. It was the perfect ending to a great day spent laughing about childhood memories and our journeys into adulthood. We will be back next year and plan to celebrate our Class of 1969’s 75th Birthday right there on that picturesque patio. Thank you Clubhouse 66, Ruth and the whole team who made us feel so special. ♥️”

Hussam, the master chef/cook never fails to deliver! We typically get the chicken kabob plate with rice, hummus, salad, grilled onion & tomato, pita bread & of course the strong garlic sauce! Last time we were there on 06/25/26, Hussam made us his juicy signature shawarma sandwich wrap which was a flavor bomb! It made our taste buds explode! The prices are very reasonable, the ambiance is cozy, & the cooks are friendly! We drive over 30 minutes every time we come here! It's worth the trip!

What makes this probably one of my favorite places in the area is the fact that they offer such creative drinks along with the names. Besides that they do straight up coffee items as well. Flavorful coffee with a chill ambiance, what else could you ask for? Well maybe if the service was a little more friendly and not so hesitant to offer dine in service then yes this would definitely be a five star coffee shop in my book. Besides my personal gripe with that they do eventually give in if you ask for dine in service. Presentation is great along with the coffee. The shop itself is a shared space with another business so seating can be limited inside but they do have a small patio area on the side and a couple of seats in the front. So if you’re in the area and looking for flavorful coffee drinks or straight up Joe then definitely check out this place.”

“The word is out! I honestly can say that Lemon Mint is the hottest restaurant in the SGV for excellent Mediterranean cuisine and hookah. I’ve had friends from Glendale to Orange County hearing great things about Lemon Mint and I tell them the hype is real. The cuisine is fresh and authentic. The hookah is the cherry on top to a relaxed outdoor environment. Seating is limited so plan ahead to get a great seat. For you that love hookah, we always have the “Love 66”.

Cool thing about the Hat, you can get yourself a quick snack under $10. Even though the JR cheeseburger is a smaller burger, the fries or onion rings will help make that up as they are very generous with the serving portions on that. Their chili cheese fries are also easily a shareable meal for about 3-4 people. Not big pastrami fan, so I'll leave that off my review for the real pastrami lovers.”

“I needed a catering job for the entire LA County/USC ER Room medical staff and all support personnel. 150 complete box lunches and I needed them delivered to East Los Angeles by 11.30 am. This amazing staff got up at 3 am to make sure the order was there and on time. Rave reviews were emailed to me about the quality and care of the delicious care packages given to each of those important caregivers at the hospital. First rate care and preparation. Tom’s Famous Pastrami $18.99 - asked if I wanted a half pound or a full pound. Imagine eating an entire pound. I'm not sure if that costs more for the pound? I didn’t ask! It's not thinly-sliced pastrami, it's the nice and thicker kind- if you are expecting something like a pastrami from Jersey Mike's or Claro's or the Hat or something.

To make it a combo, extra $5.99 and you get two fried spring rolls, sweet & spicy dipping sauce, plus a canned soda.

I had to go back for breakfast and try one of their Good Morning sandwiches for $8.50 and a Tom’s Viet Coffee for $5.49 - strong coffee, good flavor.

Everything was substantial and filling. Inflation creep is really bringing the price of pastrami to $10 on average, but ~$20 is getting wild. On one hand I see it as a sit-down restaurant price, or maybe it's the price for a more premium cut of meat. Plus tip and if you want sides and a drink an individual meal can easily cost nearly $40.

The lady preparing my meal asked if she should close my sandwich and pop the egg yolks. That was 5-star service, because I wanted my egg yolks intact.”

I told him to ask them for what I ordered. He blew it off. He regretted his decision. The pork meat was very dry and bland and so was the sauce. I tasted it and I agreed. Then I ordered Topo Chico soda water usual charge is $3.75. This time they charged $4.75. Why? Last Friday a young man served us our soda water in a nicely decorated Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. With an umbrella too. So cute. Our server said he wanted to make it worth your $3.75. I ordered the same thing today mind you. But this time the owner charged it as a Whiskey Shot…huh?!? So my son was charged an additional $1 for serving my soda water in a pretty Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. 🍋‍🟩 So where was the Whiskey! 😂”
