“Ramon's Tacos and Tapas is a wonderful restaurant with some tasty Spanish food! Everything was tasty and delicious. I order a little mocktail mojito and my family order some paella and birria tacos. I got the empanadas which were absolutely phenomenal. I never get to eat delcious food like this so it was a nice treat! The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. We did have a nice room to ourselves for a little but which was nice. Very quaint and western! I enjoyed it with my family. It was delightful. Thank you for your patience and accommodations. It was appreciated throughout the night.“

“Unfortunately today there was a blip in my son’s chile verde burrito. First of all he ordered a Chili Relleno Burrito and it had Chile Verde on it. So he thought ok. But it was a pork burrito! I told him to ask them for what I ordered. He blew it off. He regretted his decision. The pork meat was very dry and bland and so was the sauce. I tasted it and I agreed. Then I ordered Topo Chico soda water usual charge is $3.75. This time they charged $4.75. Why? Last Friday a young man served us our soda water in a nicely decorated Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. With an umbrella too. So cute. Our server said he wanted to make it worth your $3.75. I ordered the same thing today mind you. But this time the owner charged it as a Whiskey Shot…huh?!? So my son was charged an additional $1 for serving my soda water in a pretty Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. 🍋‍🟩 So where was the Whiskey! 😂“

“Great tacos of all kind & affordable. Fish tacos, potatoe tacos, carne asada tacos, & more Mexican dishes. It's a small place with only a few tables. But it's mainly a take home food place. They have special either Wednesdays or Thursday & it's 2 for one. They select which tacos will be on special. Customer service has always been kind friendly people.“

“I am dumbfounded. How this place isn't packed for lunch, I have no idea. I'm a very tough critic of vegan burgers, and this is by far one of the best I have ever tasted! I got the Cali-Burger with pea protein patties (so relieved, it's increasingly difficult to find vendors that don't rely on Impossible products, which many vegans don't consume) and it was a home run. The patties were smashed and cooked perfectly, the toppings were fresh, the sauce was delicious and the bun was as soft and pillowy as if it had been baked this morning. Plant Power gets a lot of accolades and by comparison I maintain their food is fair to mid. This is better, cheaper, and far more deserving of praise. I'm obsessed. I'll be back every time I'm in the region. The last time I enjoyed a vegan burger this much I had made it myself!“

“Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

The flavors were excellent, the meat quality was great, the tortillas and salsa were hand made. And the tacos were large size, not small Tijuana tacos. I also ordered a pambazos which was crispy, flavorful and succulent. We tried 10 kinds of pan dulce and everything was fresh and affordable. We will definitely be back“

“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“The taquitos were some of the best I have had perfect crunch and not cheap with the meat. The carne asada tacos were great but the mahi mahi was underwhelming. The tortillas were a little too soft breaking and blowing out with the bites. Salsa was great no complaints there. Overall very good.“

“If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.“

“After driving by, and smelling the delicious food every time I come home from work, I decided to give this truck a shot. The food was just delicious as it smelled.Its cash only, so be prepared for that. Parking is easy, as they are posted near an Aldi. That's a big plus.“

“Fantastic. Delightful. Yummy. We had their carne asada burritos, carne asada taco and el pastor taco. Everything was so flavorful. I was craving carne asada, but great carne asada not the bland stuff you find at most places. They city we live in DOES NOT have a single place that satisfies our taco and burritos craving. We found this place by chance and it did not disappoint. Trust the 5 star reviews. They're telling the truth. Although this is a 30-40 minute drive from home, we will gladly make the drive for this food. Oh and the horchata is the best!“

“First time. I had the nachos al pastor which i loved the melted nachos cheese and chips, not enough nachos cheese. Al pastor could have been better seasoned. Mulita de suadero could have had a bit more cheese but tortillas are small. Tacos best one I had was lengua, then carnitas, then asada, then chicken which was driest of them all. The salsas carry this taco truck. All 3 salsas are top notch for anywhere in this area. Will definitely return to try more meats.“
