“When I went there yesterday for a late lunch during work and was thus starving, I realized after I ordered that I had forgotten my cash, debit and credit card in a purse I had used over the weekend. The cashier, Giovanni, came to the rescue, offering to put in the cash for me when I said I could Zelle him the money. How often do you find customer service like that these days? I almost cried. Stopped by Poki Tomik while passing through La Verne for a meeting and had such a great experience. Ricky helped me build my poke bowl and was incredibly kind, and friendly. I had a specific sauce request and even when the bottle wasn’t working, she went above and beyond to make it right.

It’s refreshing to come across a place with staff who are truly customer service driven. Thank you for hiring people like Ricky she made my visit a great one. I don’t live in the area, but I’d definitely stop by again!“

“Queso birria is where it's at. Great flavor and plenty of meat as well as cheese. Alpastor was okay. Carne en su jugo hit. Overall you couldn't beat the service. Haven't been helped like this in a while. Seems family owned and ran. With that said the family is well trained and provide great service.“

“Seafood paella was slightly over cooked, as it seems they were going for that patina baked look, as it looks great, but was 3/4 rice, green beans, and tomato slivers. The amont of seafood was under portioned, for a $40 dish.

“Absolutely amazing experience at Gorgansons! The vegan food was an absolute bomb packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The vegan fish tacos were delicious, crispy, and loaded with fresh toppings. The vegan burger was equally impressive and full of flavor.

A special shoutout to Mark, the owner, for being so welcoming and creating such incredible vegan options. It’s not always easy to find vegan food that’s this satisfying, but Gorgansons definitely delivers. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious vegan eats. We’ll definitely be back!

“Both the savory food and panderia were delicious. We ordered 2 goat birria, 1 beef birria and 1 suadero taco. The flavors were excellent, the meat quality was great, the tortillas and salsa were hand made. And the tacos were large size, not small Tijuana tacos. I have tried many other spots including street vendors around the IE, but let me tell you that nothing compares to the quality in the taste and consistency of these folks. I was bummed to find they cut ties with the original folks that ran the stand, but nonetheless the quality of the food remains the same! “Fantastic Lunch at SeD Cocina

My wife and I stopped by SeD Cocina for lunch after seeing a video showcasing their food, and we're glad we decided to give it a try. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the quaint café atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and had a warm, inviting feel.

The staff greeted us right away and made us feel genuinely welcomed. We didn't have to wait at all and were seated immediately, which made for a great start to our visit.

To begin, we shared the esquite, which was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect appetizer to get our meal started.

For my entrée, I ordered the Chile Relleno Burrito with Carne Asada. The carne asada was perfectly seasoned, and I loved the lightly grilled exterior of the burrito, which added great texture and flavor.

My wife ordered the Chilaquiles Verdes, and they were exceptional easily some of the best we've had. The flavors were balanced perfectly, and it was a standout dish of the meal.

The salsas were also very tasty and complemented the food well. My only suggestion would be to offer a spicier salsa option for those of us who enjoy a little more heat.

Overall, the experience was amazing. Great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu!“

“Delicious food at a good price. We went in for breakfast and got huevos rancheros and huevos a la mexicana. Both were delicious but what really elevated everything were the salsas. The green and red salsas were both fantastic. Employees were very friendly, the atmosphere is very chill. We ate in but you could also do takeaway. Would 1000% come back for the salsa and the food.“

“Starting off with the torta. This thing was an absolute unit. Every bite was amazingly juicy and the flavor was dripping everywhere. I couldn’t get enough. The ramen was pretty decent. Honestly the consome was much better without the ramen. I’m thinking it might have been the type of ramen used wasn’t the best. The tacos were on special this day, so we ordered some, but they were kind of bland by themselves and I’d skip em the next time. Overall just get the consome and tortas.“

“It's in front of a house, family-run with them opened on sat and sun only. They sell mainly iced coffees and breakfast burritos. I got their pumpkin olla and chorizo burrito. The burrito ($5) came with scrambled eggs, potatoes, onions, cheese, and cilantro with green salsa. The burrito was a bit small but it was good. The iced coffee was not too bitter and not overly sweet.

They take zelle, venmo, and cash, the people were nice and the wait time was not long. Street parking only and it's a busy street.“
