“Hello This is a good news/bad news review. We frequent Only Place quite often. We probably average about 3 times a month. But it's not unusual to go a couple times in a week. Your food and serving staff are excellent. Among our favorites are Whitney, Bronwyn, Hanna, Jose to name a few. Whitney is especially great! Now the bad news. We were in last Friday and were shocked with the unexpected bright lighting. It was uncomfortably bright. Nobody needs that much light!! And considering the average age of your customers it's even more important to keep the lighting flattering. We had to move from our booth because it was so disconcerting. Please please please change the bulbs in the overhead lights. If you have to squint to see the bulb it's TOO bright. We loved the family atmosphere of Only Place. The new lighting level ruins the atmosphere. We're begging you please return to the previous pleasing level. Thank you“

“I Love the food. But I hate it. When my foods delayed i ordered a colossus burger, which is a pastrami hamburger. That's what the older taker told me it was. Then they made the food and they only gave me a hamburger. I only paid for a hamburger. As I sat there and waited about 8 minutes for them to make the food.They expected me to wait an additional eight minutes and pay them a 2 75 3 75. For their miss up and wait, you think I wanted to wait my food was hot in my hand what's wrong with the order taker? He spoke perfectly good English. I know he understood me.I also speak Spanish, so there's no reason for him to miss up my order.I was disappointed and it wasn't a nice day to be disappointed“

“THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! Run don’t walk to eat here. It’s in a unique area that looks like a business district but the food is amazing! The burger and the French fries were so good and crispy! We also loved the Wild Caught Salmon! I will be coming back for the Breakfast Burrito. The best part is you can tell the owner cares to only find high quality ingredients. This place is a hidden gem and excited I discovered it!“

“Stopped by this establishment because my normal breakfast spot was full to the gillz one particular morning. This establishment was pretty darn close to being full and seated us promptly. I was pleasantly surprised by the food which was spot on. I opted for the chicken and waffle which was hearty and sumptuous. While I still consider my go to breakfast spot to be Georgia's bun n burger up the road, I believe I'll keep this diner as a formidable reserve in my back pocket.“

“It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

It’s a good deal especially considering the entrées offered. “A rare visit for dinner tonight on Friday , had a special for ribs and I couldn’t resist! Carlos and Caitlyn were great. Had a moment to share with Carlos the years I lived in Jalisco Mexico and what can I say Caitlyn has been great as always. She has been a great server since 2019, I hope she never changes.“

“I got the Mongolian beef, extra spicy. It was tasty, but 85% rice, and was actually a little sweet not spicy. They merely threw more whole red chili's but nobody actually eats whole Chinese red chili's.

My friend got the swordfish, and opted out of the rice and upgraded to double string beans, didn't look like they doubled it.She said there's no hint of flavor on the beans, like they were simply boiled. She did like the caper sauce on the fish but had to ask for more.

Both dishes were lunch sized portions with dinner pricing, but there's live music (Friday 7pm), so just realize that it's less of a restaurant than a fine whiskey bar with food.“

“I have been going to 6740 for years. They have beer and wine. They have TV's for sporting events. The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed their wings, but recently we had a less enjoyable food experience. The wings were served cold and the grilled cheese burger was very plain. Prior to that, this was one of my favorite places for wings. I hope it improves if we come back. Maybe it was just a busy night. I don't know.“

“I was with my coworker and craving a great pozole and this spot definitely didn’t disappoint. Solid old school diner decor with a homely feel.

I had their steak and pozole/menudo aka “50/50” and it was delicious. Lots of meet, tripe and nicely sized hominy. Loved it and perfectly seasoned. The steak was seasoned to perfection and was medium well, I prefer medium rare but it was still very delicious. Excellent customer service and a solid spot to stop your soup cravings.

“Every year after the Glendora All Class Reunion Picnic in October, members of the graduating class of 1969 aim to meet up for a more intimate visit at Club House 66. We started it the weekend of our 50th High School Reunion with dinner the night before our formal gala. We had our 70th birthday on the beautiful patio there 2 years later with a wonderful buffet dinner. We no longer have a committee planned reunion but we have committed to trying to make the Annual All Class Picnic and then having a no host gathering on the Club House 66 patio. This year there were 14 of us,74 year old, coming by after a day at Finkbiner Park to have drinks and dinner on a warm Indian Summer night to reminisce with childhood friends. Our server was Ruth and she was delightful and her team made us feel like royalty. They set up the table to greet the group and kept the drinks flowing , the water glasses full and brought us delicious food as we ordered it thoughout the night. Ruth made sure we each had our own bill. We didn’t even have to ask. We interacted with the other friendly families out on the patio and we all felt like we had come “home”. It was the perfect ending to a great day spent laughing about childhood memories and our journeys into adulthood. We will be back next year and plan to celebrate our Class of 1969’s 75th Birthday right there on that picturesque patio. Thank you Clubhouse 66, Ruth and the whole team who made us feel so special. ♥️“

“Hawaiian theme atmosphere, reminds you of being in the Hawaiian islands. Burgers are fantastic, especially the teriyaki burger with pineapple. Very tasty!! And their nachos are great, as well with chicken. They add a side of sour cream guacamole and salsa upon request. The crew are friendly and gave top service!! “First timers here at Lazy Dog. I was thinking this would be a hot dog place but it isn’t lol, they gave us some garlic chips for it being our first time I thought that was really nice of them. I ordered Kung Pao Shrimp, it was really good but a bit TOO salty for my liking. I also got a beer they ID you so bring you’re ID.“

“First time having lunch here and was happy with the food and service. Their lunch specials are a great low price option as well. I had the turkey burger and fries. Can’t say I’ve had many turkey burgers in my past to compare this one to, but I can say I enjoyed mine. The meat was juicy and was pretty tasty. The fries were nice and crisp which I prefer as well, so all good. My co-workers seemed to enjoy their meals as well so all good. Price was the surprise. A lot of great options on their $10 lunch menu which will have me coming back to try a few more. Considering there was only one server and a manager, they managed to keep up with service and our water glasses full.“
