I have Applebees a try after probably 12-15 years since my last visit. We went to try their new 2 for $25 menu. The selection for that price is pretty limited but they had some nice upgrades. I was unfamiliar with their menu and food preparation. I ordered their OM Burger. Upon reading the description, it sounded like a regular burger. When it was delivered, it was cut in half and the cut ends were sitting on a sizzling plate and in a bath of melted cheese. That was so unappealing...read full review
Decided to stop by after work and I'm so glad I did. The bartender Celina said she was newish to the bar area but it did not seem like it. She did such an amazing job and made the visit that much more enjoyable.

Located in a great spot, Applebee's Grill + Bar offers very good American cuisine at fair prices with a full bar. The classic chicken Alfredo with broccoli remains a standout dish, always cooked perfectly. The spicy riblet steak has also received praise for being absolutely amazing. The restaurant is currently running a “2 for $25” special, which allows guests to choose 1 appetizer and 2 entrées for only $25—a good deal considering the entrées offered. The staff is kind and considerate, with servers consistently providing great service. Some guests have mentioned that servers check in often, ensuring drinks are full and recommending dishes. While the absence of baked potatoes on the menu is noted, their mashed potatoes serve as a good alternative. The family-friendly atmosphere features nice decor, although some have mentioned that the music can be bothersome. It’s a popular choice for sports games, complete with Happy Hour food and plenty of TVs. Parking is good, making it an easy place to visit.
