“Oct 2026 •• I've eaten here a handful of times in the last couple of months, and never had a bad experience! The service has always been top notch - they're very accommodating especially with my elderly parents (in wheelchair and walker) even on busy nights.
This weekend, I notice that there were a lot of multi-generational families eating and it was nice to see. Food is great and reasonably priced (as reasonable as it is with prices right now). A lot of standout in food: pot roast, the small plates and appetizers, among others.

Had a moment to share with Carlos the years I lived in Jalisco Mexico and what can I say Caitlyn has been great as always. She has been a great server since 2019, I hope she never changes.“

“It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. “Went on a Thursday for date night with the wife. Live music was great. The restaurant was slow but we had a reservation. The service was very slow although they were not busy. Food was tasty but pricey for what you get. We had the Caesar salad to start, Mongolian beef (good but not a large portion of beef with lots of rice for $32), shrimp tacos were on the smallest street taco tortillas I have seen. Drinks and desert were good. Cool vibe and atmosphere.“

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. It was in incredible! The jelly makes the bacon taste like candied bacon. The tots were perfect little crispness bombs. Small craft beer list is the topper. We will be back. “I actually ordered their chicken and waffle for breakfast and not thinking this can be that great (because I didn't choose this place but my mom did 😬). However, to my surprise, the Belgium waffle was huge and has a very good texture with a special dough. And Man, that chicken thigh is something else! I love that chicken was marinated first, then fired (or baked) so it's juicy and not dry at all! Not to even mention the Hispanic servers there can speak Chinese so that's why they can draw my mom back (and now me)! 🤣 👏 Bravo Nano Cafe 👏“

“I have Applebees a try after probably 12-15 years since my last visit. We went to try their new 2 for $25 menu. The selection for that price is pretty limited but they had some nice upgrades. I was unfamiliar with their menu and food preparation. I ordered their OM Burger. Upon reading the description, it sounded like a regular burger. When it was delivered, it was cut in half and the cut ends were sitting on a sizzling plate and in a bath of melted cheese. That was so unappealing and unappetizing. To grab the burger, I had to place it in a napkin to ensure that my hands and clothes were not going to be covered in the grease that dripped down.

However, the server and manager were very understanding and remade it on a regular plate in a standard burger like fashion. In the end, I will return because of the service. I now know how to order the burger so that I am not instantly repulsed by the gobs of grease that they added unnecessarily.

Overall. It was a successful experience even if it wasn’t perfect in all aspects. HOWEVER, watch out for the automatic 20% calculation on the bill. The tip (at 20%) should have been $6. The bill calculated $10.12! Super shady if you ask me.“

“We custards decided to give Freddy's a try. Been driving passed the place quite a few times.

Honey had Freddy's chili cheese dog. The chili cheese dog didn't taste or look fresh.

I had the chicken salad, tater tots and a mango tea.

The chicken was kinda dry. I like chicken salads but the chicken was a little too dry.

Overall, the service was great. The place was very clean. Staff was constantly cleaning and wiping down everything, i.e., tables, soda area, the cashier area. The menu is large and readable beside the small one on the cashier area.

One young lady was very helpful. I didn't get her name but she is graduating from Cal State L A. She was polite, courteous, helpful and very thoughtful. I am coming back to try the custards, multi drinks with the custards. When I come back, probably try the steak burger which everyone seems to enjoy.“

I usually go for the breakfast Migas plate, breakfast burritos or PANCAKES ! Also, the gourmet coffee is on point. Some might say pricing is a little higher here, but the quality is way worth it. ESPECIALLY, for what you're getting. Don't sell yourself short. Treat YOURSELF to BUTTER CAFE AND BAKERY. The absolute best breakfast spot within 20 miles of San Dimas. Just sayn.“

“Food came out as ordered...food was hot and fresh. This mom and pop shop has been here for some time and runs a good burger🍔 shop that includes Mexican🌯🌮 food items and some Greek🇬🇷. Their drive thru is always busy and their shakes are delicious with many choices of flavors...🥤including some of your own suggestions such as the chocolate 🍫 🍌banana...my fave.

The place is clean but the seats are all booths and a little dated...tight fit for the bigger guys who show up in the big work trucks. Could use some updated seating and mixed booths and tables to accommodate the big fellas...otherwise the place is a great burger place overall. Not the first time here and won't be the last. 😋“

My wife and I decided to give Apple Bee a visit before going to the Costco store nearby. The food quality is consistent and as we expected, not very crowded since it was 200pm. “Every year after the Glendora All Class Reunion Picnic in October, members of the graduating class of 1969 aim to meet up for a more intimate visit at Club House 66. We started it the weekend of our 50th High School Reunion with dinner the night before our formal gala. We had our 70th birthday on the beautiful patio there 2 years later with a wonderful buffet dinner. We no longer have a committee planned reunion but we have committed to trying to make the Annual All Class Picnic and then having a no host gathering on the Club House 66 patio. This year there were 14 of us,74 year old, coming by after a day at Finkbiner Park to have drinks and dinner on a warm Indian Summer night to reminisce with childhood friends. Our server was Ruth and she was delightful and her team made us feel like royalty. They set up the table to greet the group and kept the drinks flowing , the water glasses full and brought us delicious food as we ordered it thoughout the night. Ruth made sure we each had our own bill. We didn’t even have to ask. We interacted with the other friendly families out on the patio and we all felt like we had come “home”. It was the perfect ending to a great day spent laughing about childhood memories and our journeys into adulthood. We will be back next year and plan to celebrate our Class of 1969’s 75th Birthday right there on that picturesque patio. Thank you Clubhouse 66, Ruth and the whole team who made us feel so special. ♥️“
