“They used to be open later which really helped the college students but now closes like a typical restaurant which is unfortunate because I haven't got to go but I like this salad you can create whatever toppings and I get falafel and all the vegan sauce is obsessed with the baba ganoush and the green sauce. If I could I eat a salad everyday for lunch so good for you!! Ty friendly staff for doing all that hard work n feeding azusa healthy !! U rock“

“Grew up going to this panaderia. I stopped going for awhile, it's been a few years. I finally went back recently. And Even better than I remember it. The delicious pan dulce, champurrado, Cinnamon tea, bollio con jalapeño & cream cheese, also with papas & chorizo, ready mady sandwiches? cant go wrong! So delicious, my kids love it from here as well! Definitely recommend!“

“I used to eat here 25 years ago with a friend and his dad, went back this last weekend, and it was like I never left, the food was just like a remembered it, restaurant was exactly like I remembered it, the menudo hit the spot, I'm rarely on that side of town anymore, but when I am, I'm gonna stop to eat here, their staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, the food here was just as good as I remember it, can't wait to go back, they only have pozole on Thursdays, so if you're a fan of that, keep that in mind, you know it's gonna be good and fresh“

“We ordered green chilaquiles, green beef enchiladas and asada tacos for pick up via UberEats. The food was hot when even when we got home which was amazing. There is a small salsa bar inside which is self serving. The food was good and tasted authentic. Loss of star for the asada, unfortunately I got quite a few pieces of fat/nerve and the cut was rather large - lots of chewing. The plates were flavorful and the green salsa had a nice kick of spice. I’d say their specialty is their plates. We’ll probably order from here again. Inside is very basic, not esthetically pleasing but looked decent.“

“Our family has adored coming to this lovely Thai restaurant tucked away in Azusa! The service is always fast and friendly in a cozy atmosphere. The food is incredible! There is something on the menu for everyone! My favorite offering is the green curry tofu - they ask you which spice level you'd like... If you crave a flavorful kick - they will not disappoint! This pairs well with garlic string beans or sir fried fresh ginger, onion, mushroom and carrot. The kids adore the Chicken Satay and the Crying Tiger grilled marinated beef served with Thai spicy sauce.“

“This family-owned business usually never disappoints. We love the veggie pho because the broth is vegetable based, not chicken stock. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection and the portions are decent. On our last dining experience, we ordered the vegetable dumplings which came out very quickly. At first bite, I realized they were not vegetable but some kind of meat. While the place was busy, we couldn't find anyone to flag down fast enough before they delivered the correct order because the first one was chicken dumplings. Other than that, it's a good place for yummy food at good prices.“

“Came in for a shrimp burrito today, and the dining area was clean. The service was great, and my order was prepared quickly. The burrito came with rice, beans, cabbage, pico de Gallo, avocado, and salsa. My initial thought was that it would be the same as every other shrimp burrito. Boy, was I wrong. I requested both red and green salsa with the red salsa being my personal favorite because of both flavor and spice, while the flavor of the green salsa was king. The burrito itself was delicious and, by far, one of the best shrimp burritos that I have had in a while. If it weren't so far away, I would frequent Sandy's Cocina often. I recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite to eat when in the area because, I most definitely will.“

Burger was quite good, on the better side of smash burgers for a decent price.

Chili cheese dog was very good, but they cut all the way through the hotdog bun which was really annoying.

“Food was delicious! Pollo, Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Asada tacos (names of tacos are pronouns) were fantastic. If I had to rate one first place it would be the Carnitas, a very close second was the Al Pastor. The restaurant was busy and bustling, the staff were super friendly. 4 tacos, a 500ml Mexican coke with a large bottled water was about 17 bucks. Great prices. They do not accept cards, so make sure your ATM card is in working order. Mine is a bit old and it took me a few minutes to get it to work. Definitely want to go back here.“

She was welcoming, helpful & provided me many options for what I was looking for. Everyone loved the food and I will definitely be going back. Portions were good as well. Give them a try. “Authentic Nicaraguan flavors, big hearty plates, and the kind of gallo pinto and plantains that make you want to come back the next day.
They gave us free pork to try, it was delicious. And also gave us different types of juices for free to try. They were all excellent, we couldn’t decide which one is better.
The fritanga platter is a feast, and the staff treats you like family. The utensils also come in a paper bag so they wouldn’t touch the table. Check out my pictures.“

“I highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly. I went with my partner to enjoy a nice time together, and we were attended by a teenage girl who was very kind and attentive to us. The food was delicious, and she was very efficient at her job. She made me feel prioritized and well taken care of. It’s a great place to share a special moment as a couple.“

“Give the chicken and Fry's a try with a side of nacho cheese. This is a small whole in the wall right before you enter the canyons. The teriyaki sauce is different in a good way. Sometimes I'll grab a plate and eat it at the park near.“
