Where have I been all this time? A tiny bakery located in an unappealing plaza. Upon walking in you see cases of baked good and some trays and tongs on the counter. It's self serve: grab your own bread from the bread case and paid at the counter. They have a variety of different sweet bread, donuts, cake and cookies to choose from. Although the inside is sparse. The tamales are not. Delicious. Big. Not dry, but moist. And they are warm when bought. I had to eat a tamal de elote (corn tamal) in the car. I couldn't wait. Slightly sweet and lots of corn flavor. When I got home, the grandkid twins scarfed all four chicken and pork tamales. the service is quick and straightforward. I've been here twice without a disappointment and will continue to come back.

I've been coming here since college was across the street. I'd have a limited amount of time so I decided to check them out. I was instantly hooked on the empanadas they have here. They got a little bigger in space and also expanded their menu which now includes Tacos (BEST PASTOR AND ASADA ever) and the service was amazing. The kindest people, I felt at home while eating inside.
