“I went on a thursday afternoon. Not too busy, clean, well air conditioned, and kind staff. They had me seated and when I asked, they explained the menu to me. They have buy one get one 50% off on rolls, bento boxes, korean food, or an ayce sushi option. I got the sushi and it was good. The hand rolls were heavy on the rice, and the deep fried rolls were fried a tad longer than I prefer, but overall it tasted clean, fresh, and came out at a reasonably fast time. Ayce was around $25, rolls and starters only. $35 after taxes and tip. I think this place is worth visiting for any sushi lovers in Azusa.“

“Order her food for pick up the food was hot and fresh and came with all the sauce that we ordered even the extra dressing for the salad. The gentleman working were really nice. Only took a couple minutes to get our food. They gave us extra forks and napkins as well. They had a drink bar. We did not order drinks. The location was clean. The staff was friendly parking with a little challenging cause I share with other locations I didn’t see a restroom doesn’t mean they don’t have one 10 out of 10. Recommend checking out this location the portions for the chicken or a little bit scampi but you get a lot of rice and a lot of vegetables.“

“My service club was trying out different restaurants in Diamond and June's spot is Solo Hot Pot. We came at a good time for dinner and was able to fit our group in two tables pushed together.

Each person orders their own thing, picking their ingredients and broth. They weigh your bowl of stuff (veggies, meat, seafood, noodles, etc) and it's $15.99 per pound. If you don't pace yourself, it's very easy to end up with an expensive bowl of hot pot. Mines ended up weighting a little over 1.5 lbs, so my hot pot was over $25 before taxes. Some broths also have an additional charge (like the tonkotsu is $4.95 extra), so keep that in mind. I picked the organic miso broth, which had no extra charge. My hot pot was pretty yummy since I got to choose exactly what I wanted in it and even though I ordered a little too much, I enjoyed it the next day for lunch.

The sauce bar is included and they offer iced green tea with refills for $1.99 more. If you need a refill of the iced tea, you can let them know and they'll refill your cup. Very refreshing!

Even though we paid separately, they do charge 18% big party service charge for groups of 5 or more.

Parking was plentiful and easy in the plaza.“

“So I’ve been driving by this place for over 20 years and never bothered to stop by. Today, my partner mentioned this place and I said okay let’s check it out.
My partner loved his chicken and veggie bowl. It was well worth the $12.99. There were actual veggies and not just cabbage ( broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini, cauliflower and carrots) perfectly cooked/steamed. Chicken to veggies ratio was just right and I mean damn there was so much my partner left a few pieces. Normally he takes some of my chicken since it’s never enough. Hands down will return for the chicken and veggie bowl.
I ordered the chicken plate which comes with a green salad. Well worth the $14.99.

Next time I’ll try their teriyaki burger, maybe 😜

“Such a cute hidden gem in Walnut! We came for their famous Hainan chicken rice and potato noodles, and both were so good. The Hainan chicken was super tender and juicy, and the chicken rice was fragrant without being too heavy. I loved having both the ginger scallion sauce and chili sauce on the side too.

The potato noodles were probably my favorite! They are really chewy, comforting, and packed with flavor. We also ordered a bunch of their fried skewers, which were crispy, well-seasoned, and perfect for sharing.

“First time here. Service was excellent! William helped us decide on our order and was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food is delicious and the presentation was perfect. We had the spicy miso ramen with gyozas and salmon teriyaki with tempura. The gyozas and tempura were perfectly crispy. My husband loved the ramen and he could make it as spicy as he wanted. The miso soup is one of the best I've had. The salmon was excellent and all the sauces were delicious. We will definitely be back!“

“the restaurant is super clean. If you show up thinking you're going to order Orange chicken, Broccoli beef, kung pao chicken or any of that chinese fast food then this is not the place for you. BUT if you're looking for some delicious mouth watering dumplings cooked in various forms then you're at the CORRECT place. I brought my mom here and we tried the pork chive regular dumplings, the pan fried beef and cumin dumplings and the regular fried rice. All of it was delicious. Also they give you a complimentary bowl of egg drop corn soup. NOT a small bowl but a good size portion, it was GOOOOOD. “On our way home, we stopped by this restaurant to enjoy some delicious pho, and we definitely made the right choice! The pho was absolutely delicious. I ordered mine with beef ribs, and they were amazing — very tender and perfectly cooked. There was also a generous amount of tendon and tripe, which I really appreciated.

“This is a small, cozy cafe with only about 6–7 tables, so seating is limited, but there’s plenty of parking in the parking lot, which is always a big plus. Ordering is done through a kiosk, making the process quick and easy. Our food also came out pretty fast.

- Japanese Omelette Sandwich
- Orange Americano Tonic

The Pork Loin Cutlet Curry Udon was my favorite. The pork cutlet was moist and tender, and the Japanese-style curry was flavorful and comforting. The udon had a really nice texture and was cooked perfectly. Definitely a satisfying combination!

The Japanese Omelette Sandwich was HUGE! I wasn’t expecting it to be that big, and it was definitely enough for a hearty meal or to share.

They also have a great variety of drinks, and you can customize the ice and sweetness level. I tried the Orange Americano Tonic, which was refreshing with a nice citrusy flavor and paired well with the curry.

Overall, I had a great first experience here. The food came out quickly, the portions were generous, price was decent, parking was easy, and everything I tried was enjoyable.

“My go-to has always been the Saikoro Mazesoba and I like how much meat was given. The sauce is thick but it's not too intense to the point that it becomes too much, which is good for me. The vegetables added texture to every bite and it does well to prevent us from getting tired from eating the same texture and taste. I like the condiment choices they provide on the side as well. I feel like the price is fair and the atmosphere in this restaurant is pretty good. My only criticism is that the meat is a little dry. I gave it a 4/5 stars but on a 10-rating scale I would give it an 8.5“

“Wow, talk about delicious! 😋 From the first bite, it was clear why this place is so popular. The flavors were fresh, well-balanced, and incredibly satisfying.

The service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and our food arrived surprisingly fast without sacrificing quality.

One of my favorite parts of the experience was the open kitchen. Being able to watch the chefs prepare each dish added a fun, authentic touch and gave us an even greater appreciation for the care that goes into each meal.

I ordered the chicken stir-fry noodles, which were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. My wife and son both chose the chicken noodle soup, with one ordering the standard noodles and the other trying the cut noodles. Both dishes were a hit, and it was fun comparing the different noodle styles.
