“I really love eating at this store because when you dine in, you can have as much sauce as you want. And I love their sauces. I saw someone review for being stingy with their sauce. I didn't understand it. But I was thinking may be it was for "to go". I never order had "to go" here so I don't know. But for dine in, I come here all the time and it is great.“

“This place is located in the plaza where Tokyo Central Market is located. The lunch special menu was very extensive. I tried the pig hock rice dish and it was decent, but the lean portion of the pork was bit tough to chew. Each dish came with a salad, but no dressing?!? There were also a good variety of hot pots for $15, which nowadays is reasonable. The service was friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a good lunch and we will return to try other items.

“I'm a huge fan of charbroiled burgers, right? I was in the area, so I decided to check out this place. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo, and let me tell you, it was bomb! The burger was grilled perfectly, and the char flavor mixed with the bacon and thousand island dressing was insanely delicious. The fries were perfectly salted and had so much potential, but they had a slight aftertaste of old, burnt oil, which was a bit of a bummer. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely make the 10-mile drive again to try their other food and have another one of those burgers. Trust me, you won't regret it!“

“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. “I happen to go to the tea place next door and saw this place and the menu caught my attention. I was fascinated by the port cutlet and the nice Japanese omelette over the rice with curry. I walk in and I get greeted by the lady who is so nice and friendly. Ordered the pork cutlet with rice and egg omelette and it was delicious

“this place so we were shopping at HMART and saw the place and wanted to try and get a snack went in for one thing and ended up ordering like 4 different things and even got a crab Rangoon on the house and a cabbage salad and everything was amazing. We got barbecue pork buns, popcorn chicken, beef noodle soup and the gua buns I think that’s what there called but it’s was so good and thinking about going back again this week and the lady there Helena was so sweet and definitely will go back for the crab rangoons and wanting to try everything on the menu and they even have a drive through.“

“This outlet serves the saucy (non soup) version of Japanese ramen. I tried the spicy original mazesoba. Also side of gyoza. Mazesoba comes with soft boiled egg in the middle and you need to mix the entire bowl with your chopsticks to get all the flavors mingle. They suggest that you add some vinegar. There are multitudes of toppings you can add such as corn and extra proteins. I tried the curry mazesoba as well and it was ok but the curry flavor was showing the powdery texture along with high spice of green onions which made the experience too harsh. The deluxe version may get up to $20 if you choose the souped up version and added toppings. The default noodle is a thicker ramen type similar to a udon texture. You can choose egg noodle version if you desire. They offer you a scoop of rice to eat the remaining sauce if you Ike. Gyoza was just okay. It might have been premade type and they were too small.

“Went there for breakfast on Saturday early (8:30) to beat the rush. Only waited 20 minutes. Had belly to belly, creme brulee french toast. avocado toast, and two orders of the berry cloud pancakes. For drinks we had classic coffee, Pandan latte, Spanish latte, and Cookie? latte. Both drinks and food were great. Only complaint is that we order the 2nd pancake a few minutes late and it didn't arrive till most of us were finished. Be warned .. get your orders in for the cloud pancakes early. It will take 20-30 minutes to arrive.“

“we ordered the family meal deal with chicken and it was really worth the price. i was debating between purchasing individual bowls but i'm glad we went with this choice. it was my first time eating at a waba grill so i suggest asking them about their available deals as they also have daily deals for bowls. i'll be returning soon to try the steak or the salmon.“

The food was good! And large portions. I had the veggie plate with tofu. Vegetables were amazing, but a bit lazy with the tofu. I would have preferred fried tofu cubes to the sliced patties I received, but that's textural preference. ALL of it was seasoned and tasty. It ended up being enough for two meals. I gave the other half of my plate to my dad for dinner, and he loved it. He's a meat eater too!

Ordered Hainan chicken noodle soup, wonton noodle soup, green beans, and popcorn chicken and the portions were so generous we had to bring back more than half our food.
