“I'm surprised at the negative reviews. I haven't experienced an issue yet. I was here Friday night and ordered the tacos. I enjoyed them. I had 1 steak, 1 chicken and 1 shrimp. I really liked the fillings and thought the meats tasted good and cooked nice. I didn't really enjoy the tortilla part but it is just my taste buds and preference. Would I order them again, yes. I got a mini spicy chicken bowl today and thought it was substantial, filled me up and the price cannot be beat for what you're getting. But as I was asking she walked away to the back and pretended not to hear me.I didn't really want to interact with her anymore so I didn't pursue the topic and just went to Wholefoods and bought an avocado.I get home and this bowl is a weak excuse to how I've had meals prepared in the close past.I understand it's a free bowl but I feel like it should be treated the same way being prepared. “I'm just blown away.... Like just wow. The restaurant looks like any regular hole in the wall dine in restaurant but what you get in terms of the food and the deal? Amazing! The tonkotsu was pure heaven, so much so that I'm not one to finish the broth usually but I forced myself to do the best I could with this one. The pork slices and the noodles are the perfect tenderness. Servers are very attentive and patient from start to finish. The really amazing deal was that your first two Sapporo or Hot Sake bottles are 99 cents too! Major plus that they play the best indie hits; I even heard my artists on the Playlist. I'm just blown away. It's hard to find great ramen in this neck of the woods but this place proves you don't have to live in orange county to get the same quality.“

“Nice place for brunch here. Had their GOAT egg omelette and coffee here. But the true star of the show that day was the special pancake of the month, Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancake. Take one bite and you'll want to be like Agnes from Despicable Me and scream out, "It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!" I ordered 34 garlic sesame chicken plates and (some sides for me potstickers with ponzu - awesome, shrimp plate - awesome) - and requested all 34 plates to be prepared by a certain time. Not only was it ready, packed, but William and his wife helped me bring the boxes to my van. All 34 plates were eaten and University of Redlands Mens Water Polo players and coaches. I ordered tofu cashew stir fry lunch special (see pic). It was nicely plated and the portion was sufficient. The ambiance was clean, A in the window, furniture is a bit of a mish mash. The gentleman serving was polite and attentive. He did not ask me about spice level. The dish was not the least bit spicy. I asked for chili sauce which made it better. “I found this restaurant on Yelp! What a great find! The inside is spacious. They have small curtain like partitions for privacy between tables. So far, I've been here twice. Both visits have gone well. This hot pot restaurant is shabu shabu style. You are given a slip and check off all the ingredients that you would like to put in your broth. The beef is cut fresh when you order it. I've tried the sichuan broth and the tom yum broth. They've been flavorful. I love adding tofu and potato vermicelli along with veggies and beef. Customer service is great. The waitress is attentive and friendly. She checks on you often and makes sure your cup is always full of water or your preferred drink. I also like how they are open late as this cold weather makes me crave hot pot. I'm looking forward to trying a new combination.“

Google should really fix this problem.Back to the Duck Palace. The duck was well seasoned and delicious. The meat was carved out with both skin and meat so it is not just skin only. This is just another style of eating Peking Duck, not more or less “authentic “ as I had both styles in China, in Beijing no less. The combo meal comes with a Duck soup, first time it was real good, the second time I think the cook tipped the whole bottle of pepper in it ?. The carcass of the duck, mainly the neck and leg bones, were deep fried and they are surprisingly tasty, excellent when washed down with a cold beer.“

“ive been to the Haven store a couple times but this location is closer to me and its my first time coming here. I'm not sure theres a difference between these two nearby locations. The food is quite good, seems healthy, convenient. 100 times better than Yoshinoya for sure, it was pretty disappointing how downhill that place went. My only thing about Waba is, its a little.. boring. or bland. something about it is a bit lackluster. and I noticed a few of the brown rice grains were smooth and hard so they did not get soaked properly. I wish i got paid for these reviews but honestly, Waba leaves something to be desired when you've had food from Flame Broiler. they are the best similar competing chicken rice bowl that I've had so far and even a little cheaper if that were somehow possible. even the rice and veggies seem to be more on point. Waba is definitely on par but they're taking 2nd place. just my honest opinion.“

“I go to the Upland Pick Up Stix so frequently I feel like I am one of the family members there. All of the employees are so wonderful there. I have been going there for over 7 years. I haven’t ever had a problem I any kind there since I have been going there. I know each one of them by first name and they always greet each one of my family members by first name. My grandson has several disabilities and is in a wheelchair. He eats there at the Upland restaurant at least 5 times a week. “Easy access ample parking, you will never have trouble with it. This place seems to be a hybrid, probably has many take out orders. You will never have trouble finding a table. The ordering process is entirely in Mandarin, you will have difficulty if you don't speak Mandarin at all. The food is the highlight, at the recommendation of the staff we got the first option potato noodle which is basically an everything combo. I would say as long as you are into spicy noodles this alone is worth all the inconveniences. Overall there are not many potato noodles in the area and this place fulfills an interesting niche.
