“My service club was trying out different restaurants in Diamond and June's spot is Solo Hot Pot. We came at a good time for dinner and was able to fit our group in two tables pushed together.

Each person orders their own thing, picking their ingredients and broth. They weigh your bowl of stuff (veggies, meat, seafood, noodles, etc) and it's $15.99 per pound. If you don't pace yourself, it's very easy to end up with an expensive bowl of hot pot. Mines ended up weighting a little over 1.5 lbs, so my hot pot was over $25 before taxes. Some broths also have an additional charge (like the tonkotsu is $4.95 extra), so keep that in mind. I picked the organic miso broth, which had no extra charge. My hot pot was pretty yummy since I got to choose exactly what I wanted in it and even though I ordered a little too much, I enjoyed it the next day for lunch.

The sauce bar is included and they offer iced green tea with refills for $1.99 more. If you need a refill of the iced tea, you can let them know and they'll refill your cup. Very refreshing!

Even though we paid separately, they do charge 18% big party service charge for groups of 5 or more.

“I came to my nearest Waba Grill during my lunch break and to my surprise the place was empty (in a good way). The server, Eric greeted me with a huge smile and welcoming energy! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and overall had a positive attitude! Although restaurants can take a toll on employees due to customers it is very important to continue with the positive vibes and vibrant atmosphere. One person can change the entire outcome and with that being said, continue to applaud Eric and hire workers that resemble his energy! :)“

“A Mazesoba spot in Walnut, had to try it since it's rare to have this type of restaurant around. My wife and I were immediately seated as it wasn't busy when we entered, although busy a bit later. We were guided by Yuki, he was very friendly, and guided us through the menu since it was our first times at this specific spot. Top notch staff, friendly, professional, and very informative.

My wife and I ordered the Classic Mazesoba & Champion Mazesoba. (Both non spicy) Both came out pretty fast and the presentation is spectacular.

1. Champion Mazesoba came with 2pcs Chashu, Marinated egg, minced pork, poached eggs, 3pcs nori, shredded seaweed, green onions, chives, and garlic. All mixed together with the ramen noodles creates the perfect dish. It wasn't too salty, and everything mixes just melts perfectly.
The noodles were already seasoned well, which makes the mixing extra yummy.

2. Classic Mazesoba came with minced pork, poached egg, shredded seaweed, green onions, chives, and garlic.

Cheaper than the champion bowl, less ingredients, but just as tasty. This dish is perfect for customers who like less meat, and loves more simplicity in their mazesoba. Noodles taste very similar despite some of the lacking ingredients

Overall, Mazesoba Hero is amazing, service is great, parking is free (popular plaza), food is top quality, and for those who are new or interested in mazesoba type food, this is the perfect place to start. Can't wait to come back to try the other dishes.“

“Went to Moon Grill “just to grab food” and somehow left emotionally attached to the grilled chicken 😭🔥 Everything was crazy flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The portions? HUGE. Like “I’ll save some for later” huge… except it was too good to stop eating.

The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. “Went there for breakfast on Saturday early (8:30) to beat the rush. Only waited 20 minutes. Had belly to belly, creme brulee french toast. avocado toast, and two orders of the berry cloud pancakes. For drinks we had classic coffee, Pandan latte, Spanish latte, and Cookie? latte. Both drinks and food were great. Only complaint is that we order the 2nd pancake a few minutes late and it didn't arrive till most of us were finished. Be warned .. get your orders in for the cloud pancakes early. It will take 20-30 minutes to arrive.“
