The fries that look really mid surprise me as well with this spices which again was very flavorful. I was looking for a new wings location and this is by far the best I’ve been to in all of I.E. “There is only 1 nice guy manning the front and kitchen. I tried calling ahead but the phone wasn’t working. I left and came back after 30 min for 1 order of popcorn chicken but it wasn’t ready. The owner is not doing his or her job cheaping out on service. They are lucky to have this guy working here.“

“I know this shop used to have a not so great reputation in the 90's early 2000's, but honestly this is my go to now for croissants, deep fried fish, and some other Chinese stuff on the side. They have variety as far as their food and I personally love their ham/cheese/jalapeño croissants and their maple bars. Fried fish and chicken is definitely solid compared to other chain restaurants. If you're a pomona local check them out and stop by for breakfast or lunch! ❤️“

“Been to the Montclair ca location several times and never had an issue. But for some reason on the date of Oct 14 2025 there were two employees. A cook and a cashier. The Cashier was not very knowledgeable, and couldn't really answer questions I had about certain food. So now to the issue..I was a little pressed for time. For my order to be prepared and finished took over 21 minutes! My wife actually had to get up and stand up to get the cashier's attention. Once she saw my wife, she told my wife the food was almost done. I almost decided to ask for a refund and leave without food.“

I’ve been to other WaBa Grill locations, but this La Verne location is extra, extra clean. The restaurant is always spotless, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious every time we visit.
What really makes it special is the amazing staff and owner. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming with a smile which makes the whole experience even better.

If you’re in La Verne and looking for a healthy, tasty meal, this spot is definitely a go to!!
