Loved Joyce's restaurant when she was in Claremont and I'm so happy she moved even closer to me in Upland. Food is just as delicious as it always was (I missed the Mandalay Curry so much), service was fantastic and the decor was lovely too. Please support a local small business and give Patra Dining a try.
The food preparation is amazing. Tastes like home made but better. The orange glazed salmon and the pot stickers are my favorites so far but plan to go back again and again!

Patra Thai Dining is an excellent find in Downtown Upland. The restaurant has a clean, polished atmosphere while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere is modern, inviting, and beautifully decorated. The food is flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. One is able to taste every ingredient and not the msg. The owners greeted guests with their cultural hospitality. The service was friendly, attentive, wonderful, and very hospitable throughout the meal. The experience felt a little more elevated than a typical casual Thai restaurant. Guests ate well and loved everything, especially Ming’s Wings, the Panang Shrimp & Scallops Special, Wine and Dumplings, the salmon, the pad see ew with beef, the Thai beef salad, Chicken Pot Stickers, the Spicy Cashew Chicken, the Pad Thai Chicken with homemade peanut sauce, and the Massaman Curry. The Ginger dressing is so clean. The House wine was a nice touch as well. The beef salad was amazing — the meat was incredibly tender with the perfect balance of spiciness and tanginess. The Massaman Curry exploded with rich coconut flavors, spices, and very tender meat. Patra Thai Dining is definitely a place to recommend and return to.
