“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “I was seated outside, not much of a view but that's OK. I had the country fried steak, with eggs over easy and biscuits & gravy. The food was delicious. The gravy had sage in it, but not overwhelming. The biscuit was seasoned, very good on its own. I enjoyed the CFS. My bride ordered a sandwhich. I don't recall but she really enjoyed it. I also ordered a side of their signature Chipotle cheddar potatoes. They were absolutely fantastic. I would go back just to have those potatoes. Staff was very efficient and friendly. The peanut sauce they serve with the spring rolls is very good and thick. Even though this Pho spot is far from me I still go out of my way to come here.“

“Very pretty place. Our server was such a sweetheart and would come up with lots of little jokes.
We had miso soup, gyoza, and 3 sushi rolls. The gyoza was fried, so it wasn’t my favorite, but everything else was super tasty. I really recommend the Redondo Roll. It has mango, crab, avocado, rice paper, and eel sauce. The mango complimented the taste so well.
For dessert, I would recommend the macaron with ice cream.“

“Palermo Bakery has everything you need to feel like you are in Italy! From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. They are also very COVID safe in case you are worried about venturing out and about. I would recommend the bakery to anyone needing a slice of Italy in Southern California! ❤️🇮🇹💚“

“After a long, hot day, I wanted to stop in for something cool and refreshing. I was greeted by Rich and he was so welcoming and kind.
He explained all that he had and I ended up grabbing a super interesting coconut option and a ginger shot.
The coconut juice was unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. It was exactly how Rich described it and hit the spot perfectly.
I’m looking forward to heading back soon to try another one of his creations!

“We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.“

“I absolutely recommend this place. Every time i get a little extra pay from work, I come here to treat myself. No matter if it’s a quick on the go lunch, or a feast of a dinner, the sushi is delicious and they’re customer service is amazing. They always give me complimentary sauces, and sometimes even an on the house roll!! And the one time I ordered the wrong roll, they swapped it out for me. “Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and told we could sit wherever we wanted. Our server offered water and delivered it quickly. She took our orders, 3 Pho and spring rolls and they arrived quickly and nice and hot (spring rolls were nice and cool). The pho broth was delicious and those eating it said it was some of the best they have had and they eat pho quite often, the spring rolls were very tasty and refreshing with a nice peanut sauce to go with them. Milk tea with snd without boba was also enjoyable. We will return when we are back in the area at World Market. Highly recommend this nice place with friendly employees!“
