“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “The waiters pretty nice he has loads of energy, the area is pretty cool but I found an ant inside the table, pretty cool tho, the food the wrap is very sour, the fillings some are pretty good some are ok, none bad tho I would recommend this if you like sour and not that salty food, the coffee was great I love coffee but a bit strong, I'd say more than Italian coffee. If you don't want to sleep drink two cups. Coffee would be great for tiramisu

“Everyone has their own personal experience with Veg World, I scrolled through many comments, some positive some negative.
Now I will jump into the comment pool.
I stumbled across Veg World as I was desperately driving around in my neighborhood looking for a vegan restaurant.
Feeling guilty of living 68 years depriving my body of the nutritions necessary to maintain a healthy heart.
68 years later, as a result of neglecting my health by putting all the wrong foods into my body,I now have high cholesterol and I am a diabetic.
I decided to reach out to the veg world to save my heart.
I drove passed Veg World and decided to take a chance at trying their food.
My my my,what a diabetic high cholesterol decision that was.
The best thing I've done for my health in 68 years.
The first thing I look for, is the restaurant clean.
Veg World definitely earned their A rating .
This restaurant had a tropical exotic atmosphere, water falls outside, water falls inside ,beautiful plants and the walls had beautiful pictures of parrots.
So I proceeded to look at their menu.
With the help of the patients of the waitress ,she spoke to the chef for recommendation for my health concerns, the chef carefully put together a meal that would be healthy for my heart.
I praise this restaurant for helping me save my health from a stroke or heart attack.
In short, Veg World is helping me save my life.
I had the pleasure of meeting one of the Chefs and I thanked her for preparing her food with such passion for the health of her customers.
I want to applaud my beautiful Chef Nicole for showing compassion for my health...

“Tons of vegan options, tasty Vietnamese fare, and the kind of authentic experience you want.

Not to mention, the prices are fantastic, especially for LA. While we didn’t love every dish we ordered (learned we didn’t like the ‘gravy’ dishes very much), and it hasn’t replaced our other favorite options in Whittier and Van Nuys, still a good spot.

“We came in very close to closing time. The staff was very polite, friendly and quick with service. We really appreciated it, especially since we came after Disneyland. The kids wanted to eat pizza for dinner and we got the drive over with to eat closer to home. Because of closed lanes on the freeway, we barely made it in time. I am so grateful that the staff was not frustrated or rude in any way. It was very much appreciated.“

We came in for dinner with a group and ordered one of their set menus for 6 people. It's honestly an incredible deal, it comes with a whole Peking duck and a bunch of great dishes, including the shrimp with vermicelli, beef in soup, broccoli, salad, sweet and sour pork ribs, and a 6-item appetizer platter. The food tasted fantastic, though the portion sizes for the set felt a little light for 6 fully grown adults. To make sure everyone was full, we added an order of their famous braised noodles with pork ribs, which absolutely hit the spot.

The service was highly impressive and completely matches the new elevated vibe of the restaurant. We had such a great experience that we’re actually coming back again next week for a birthday celebration. Highly recommend checking out their new look!“

“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“
