“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Palermo Bakery has everything you need to feel like you are in Italy! From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. “We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.“

“I was seated outside, not much of a view but that's OK. I had the country fried steak, with eggs over easy and biscuits & gravy. The food was delicious. The gravy had sage in it, but not overwhelming. The biscuit was seasoned, very good on its own. I enjoyed the CFS. My bride ordered a sandwhich. I don't recall but she really enjoyed it. I also ordered a side of their signature Chipotle cheddar potatoes. They were absolutely fantastic. I would go back just to have those potatoes. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Great place to enjoy a breakfast.“

“My sister and i went here. In San Dimas, she wanted chicken noodle soup. I bought blueberry bagels awsome taste great. This is the only thing I can eat here. I have food Allergies. My sister picked the potatoe chips to go with her soup instead of the bread that comes with the soup. The plus this location has a drive Thu.“

“We found Wake Coffee completely by accident, and we're so glad we decided to stop.

The drinks were fantastic—creative, flavorful, and made with care. We especially loved the unique specialty toppings that made each drink feel a little extra special. The real standout, though, was the warm oatmeal raisin cookie. It was, without question, the best oatmeal raisin cookie we've ever had—soft, fresh, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious.
The shop has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. If you're passing through the area, don't hesitate to stop in. We'll definitely be making this a regular stop whenever we're nearby!“

“This is a small, cozy cafe with only about 6–7 tables, so seating is limited, but there’s plenty of parking in the parking lot, which is always a big plus. Ordering is done through a kiosk, making the process quick and easy. Our food also came out pretty fast.

I ordered:

- Pork Loin Cutlet Curry Udon
- Japanese Omelette Sandwich
- Orange Americano Tonic

The Pork Loin Cutlet Curry Udon was my favorite. The pork cutlet was moist and tender, and the Japanese-style curry was flavorful and comforting. The udon had a really nice texture and was cooked perfectly. Definitely a satisfying combination!

The Japanese Omelette Sandwich was HUGE! I wasn’t expecting it to be that big, and it was definitely enough for a hearty meal or to share.

They also have a great variety of drinks, and you can customize the ice and sweetness level. I tried the Orange Americano Tonic, which was refreshing with a nice citrusy flavor and paired well with the curry.

Overall, I had a great first experience here. The food came out quickly, the portions were generous, price was decent, parking was easy, and everything I tried was enjoyable.

“Had lunch today at RKR (Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch after seeing the article in the Daily Bulletin. The lovely Mrs. C and I both had the hangar steak with roasted brussels sprouts and fries. I opted to have the fries upgraded to the truffle parmesan version. As with our previous visit, the food was excellent. The brussels sprouts were roasted with a great char and were tender instead of mushy or overly crispy. The parmesan truffle fries had finely shredded chesses and flecks of truffle evenly coating the fries. The last time I had truffle fries in a restaurant they had the parmesan but with a drizzle of truffle oil. This was a very pleasant surprise. The steak was sliced with a light peppercorn sauce which did not overpower the steak but added to it. Of course, the restaurant is a teaching venue with students from the Collins School of Hospitality so service was attentive and excellent. To our meal we each had a glass of a Syrah blend wine and we shared an apple crumble dessert with Fosselman's vanilla ice cream (yummy). The dining room overlooking the hills of Cal Poly with the 57 freeway barely visible in the distance was, as always, part of the appeal of this location. Price for our meal (before tip) was $91. A very good value for the quality of food and experience. I'm sure we'll be back soon.“

“I absolutely love Seven Leaves Cafe! Every drink I've ever ordered has tasted absolutely amazing, and the service is always quick! The employees are super friendly, welcoming, and make every visit a great experience. The store is always clean and inviting, which I really appreciate.

“The staff are friendly. The pumpkin smoothie tasted like bananas with spice. It also looks nothing like the pic. Not a fan. I wanted to try more items like the watermelon juice, the energy bites etc but they were out of alot of items.
The mushroom burrata toast was delicious. A Lil heavy on the lemon/citrus flavor. But overall good.
The handmade gourmet granola bar was definitely the shining star today. It was so nice I had to buy it twice. Loved the granola bar. Delicious and nutritious with all the ingredients in it.“

“Absolutely loved my experience at PS I Crepe You! The inside is so pretty and thoughtfully decorated — it has such a cute, aesthetic that makes it feel really welcoming and perfect for grabbing a sweet treat or hanging out for a bit.

One thing to note is that ordering is done entirely through an iPad, which actually made the process easy for my teenager but not for me.

I combined the passion fruit tea with peach and black tea, y mira, 👌 it's made perfectly.They have that good matcha here too. It tastes like matcha not too grassy because they add the perfect amount and mix it correctly. The popcorn chicken is a must a tiny bit spicy but my daughter loved it too much she ate everything. Went home and paired those leftoves with some pancakes and syrup. The gift that keeps on giving. The fried chicken wings with, i believe it was thai sauce, were delicious as well. “Fresh Kitchen (Drink ur Greens) is probably the only thing I miss about California. their Juice Cleanse's are delicious, I absolutely LOVED their Root 2 and would always have their lemon water in my fridge. If they could ship to the Mesa area of Arizona I'd definitely become a regular customer again.“

“My wife and I stopped by Cafe Valer on a Sunday morning and were thoroughly impressed. The menu is extensive, the service is fast and friendly, and the entire space—inside and out—is spotless and well-kept.

We grabbed a table on the patio under the umbrellas. Portions are generous and the food is outstanding. My wife ordered the Chipotle Breakfast Avocado Panini with a Raw Sugar Caramel Shaken Iced Oat Milk Latte, and I had the Steak & Egg Burrito with a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Everything was packed with flavor. We were too full to try dessert, but that just gives us an excuse to return :D

“Really enjoyed the pork satay here! The presentation was beautiful and everything on the plate looked fresh and appetizing. The pork satay was especially good—tender, juicy, and nicely grilled with a slightly smoky, caramelized flavor. The meat was flavorful without being overly sweet, and the sauce complemented it perfectly.

I also liked how the rice, fresh vegetables, pickles, and crispy shallots balanced out the meal. The portion was satisfying and the whole plate felt thoughtfully put together.

“Stopped by 7 Leaves during a recent heatwave while visiting in the area - first - while its still around - make sure you try out their Brazilian Lemonade! It's simple - fresh lime juice, ice and condensed milk - but sooo good. Literally replaced (temporarily since it's a seasonal drink) my favorite House Coffee with Sea Cream.

Anyway, wanted to stop by to pick up some cold drinks and get their gift card pack.

This location is directly on your left as you drive into the shopping center. There's a drive-thru - so you don't have to leave the comfort of your car - but I opted to walk in since I wanted to snap photos of the interior.

Plenty of seating throughout the store (I didn't take one side of tables/chairs because it was fully occupied and I feel weird snapping photos of people without asking them).

Service was awesome. The employee had to check if they still had gift cards left - but was super helpful and pointed out that a gift card either gets the recipient a regular-sized drink with topping, OR a large sized drink no topping.

OH - and another plus - they blast the AC in here - so its the perfect refuge to sip coffee while working on your laptop or reading a book during a relentless heatwave!“

“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“

“OK, YUM!! I’ve been on a huge hojicha kick lately since the caffeine is usually gentler than matcha. I’ve had bad luck in the past with shops giving me massive servings (37g!) that kept me up all night, so I’m always a bit cautious.

I finally decided to try Smoking Tiger after seeing them all over socal, and I’m so glad I did! I told the staff I’m super caffeine sensitive, and they were incredibly accommodating, offering to make alterations just for me. Love that attention to detail! I'll be a regular from now on!

“I’ve heard about this place for a while now, but I rarely leave the vicinity of my home. Alas, I was out in the real world and finally made it! 🙌

I needed a place to kill a few hours, so I decided to grab my Bible and enjoy a nice little treat. I ordered the Horchata Matcha and a danish… dulce something.

Anyhow, no complaints! Everything was tasty. Was it extraordinarily goo, life-changing, or out of this world? No. 😂 But it did its job and that's all I could ever ask for.

What I really loved was the space which is excatly what I was looking for. It was super spacious with plenty of seating, good music, and an overall nice atmosphere. (Although I eventually put my own music on so I could focus.) I saw lots of people working, and I can definitely see why.

I spent a couple of hours studying my Bible, sipping my matcha, and enjoying my danish. It was exactly what I needed.“
