“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.“

From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. “Absolutely love this place! Went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. Got there at 11am and had to wait 30 minutes because it is a popular place, but again, worth it. Staff is very friendly. Our waitress was super attentive without being hovering. My friend had a Chicken wrap and I had the Chicken Paninni on sourdough. I upgraded from the kettle chips to their small crock of French Onion soup. Both of our orders were delicious. We choose to sit outside in their patio. So, relaxing and a bit more quieter for us older folks who have trouble hearing. We even had a friendly blue bird visit our table. Very polite, didn't try to swipe our food like a seagull would.“

“My sister and i went here. In San Dimas, she wanted chicken noodle soup. I bought blueberry bagels awsome taste great. This is the only thing I can eat here. I have food Allergies. My sister picked the potatoe chips to go with her soup instead of the bread that comes with the soup. The plus this location has a drive Thu.“

First time was Valentine's Day meal that we loved so much that we took our college-age children and their significant others for a special birthday meal. They were impressed with the food, the presentation, the wine, the service, the view, all of it, and said they plan to also come back for special event meals. Hidden gem! Menu selections are creative, memorable, delicious and priced better than any other place around that serves food of this level. Service is friendly and attentive. Cal Poly Pomona students do the work at RKR, and it feels good to support the cause. Usually only open part of the year when college courses are in session, but we're excited to hear from our server that there are plans to expand service to summer also. A professor from the college was on hand to oversee the experience and was delightful & gracious to talk with and learn from (her knowledge of wine is extensive & informative).“

I combined the passion fruit tea with peach and black tea, y mira, 👌 it's made perfectly.They have that good matcha here too. It tastes like matcha not too grassy because they add the perfect amount and mix it correctly. The popcorn chicken is a must a tiny bit spicy but my daughter loved it too much she ate everything. Went home and paired those leftoves with some pancakes and syrup. The gift that keeps on giving. The fried chicken wings with, i believe it was thai sauce, were delicious as well. Loved my breakfast sandwich chapin with black beans, eggs, red/green bell peppers, tomatoes, onion, fresh baked and crisp bolillo. Super clean. Seating inside and outside perfect for meet ups. The food so far is great. I've had their wraps, bagel sandwiches, paninis, and burritos. “I tried their peach oolong tea and loved it! They have plenty of outdoor seatings (tables, benches, and booths) and what I also liked about this cafe is that I can bring my own food. You just need to purchase their drinks. As long as you get there between 10 am and 2 pm (Tue-Sat), you can grab a drink and use their cafe area!“

“OK, YUM!! I’ve been on a huge hojicha kick lately since the caffeine is usually gentler than matcha. I’ve had bad luck in the past with shops giving me massive servings (37g!) that kept me up all night, so I’m always a bit cautious.

I finally decided to try Smoking Tiger after seeing them all over socal, and I’m so glad I did! I told the staff I’m super caffeine sensitive, and they were incredibly accommodating, offering to make alterations just for me. Love that attention to detail! I'll be a regular from now on!

“Hit the drive thru later in evening, service was fast. Thai tea was not overly sweet and the melon based drink we ordered was unique and refreshing. Macaroons were decent for quick food, but my comparison is from French pastry shops so am a tad biased. Prices were very reasonable for Cali.“

It's tucked in a strip mall of a busy street. Outside can sometimes have some sketchy people, but the workers didn't seem phased. Like they're used to it.
