Well, the split pea was a little dense. Otherwise the burger, Flo’s Burger was the best and got it cooked just right. We really enjoy coming here. Robbie and Chris are a delight“

The red potatoes are incredible! Toast is always perfectly toasted and the biscuits and gravy are spiced to perfection! Coffee is enjoyable, just strong enough. Friendly and attentive staff. “Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. First time was Valentine's Day meal that we loved so much that we took our college-age children and their significant others for a special birthday meal. They were impressed with the food, the presentation, the wine, the service, the view, all of it, and said they plan to also come back for special event meals. Hidden gem! Menu selections are creative, memorable, delicious and priced better than any other place around that serves food of this level. Service is friendly and attentive. Cal Poly Pomona students do the work at RKR, and it feels good to support the cause. Usually only open part of the year when college courses are in session, but we're excited to hear from our server that there are plans to expand service to summer also. A professor from the college was on hand to oversee the experience and was delightful & gracious to talk with and learn from (her knowledge of wine is extensive & informative).“

“This place has amazing coffee and matcha varieties, and it’s the only place I’ve found near by that has the strong matcha flavor I like, like Airoma from Vegas. It has a real coffee shop vibe with people actually conversating. The only issue my husband was unhappy with is the drinks are on the smaller side for the price and also they don’t let you pay with cash. Their spinach soufflé is delicious, but the lemon loaf was dry. The staff is welcoming though and make the drinks quickly, so the quality is there.“

“Good respectful environment here the cashier is very polite and patient with our order. I combined the passion fruit tea with peach and black tea, y mira, 👌 it's made perfectly.They have that good matcha here too. It tastes like matcha not too grassy because they add the perfect amount and mix it correctly. The popcorn chicken is a must a tiny bit spicy but my daughter loved it too much she ate everything. Went home and paired those leftoves with some pancakes and syrup. The gift that keeps on giving. The fried chicken wings with, i believe it was thai sauce, were delicious as well. Not even the scoop of ice cream helped the blandness..truly... its so bland and i say this in the most constructive way to give it attention i knew it wasnt me because i ordered a couple.... when I tell you theres literally no level of sweetness at all I mean it. the milk was not your typical filipino halo halo it was only regular milk instead of evaporated milk. From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. I explained our needs and the staff were extremely kind and gracious, generously providing me with a wonderful selection of donuts for the dads and children attending our event. The donuts were fresh, faithfully and artfully prepared, and boxed and sold with a kindness. The shop is small but the heart and the service are very large indeed! Service has gone down since moving to a new spot.
They've expanded their menu and clientelle, so yes it's more busy.
Still, coming to this place is a treat to myself. The items are not cheap (Thanks inflation), so giving me my coffee and donuts with a smile goes a long way.
