Recently, my company had a work retreat, and I suggested we cater from here because their popcorn chicken is seriously the best! The ordering process was super easy—I placed the order a few days in advance, and everything was ready right on time with no issues. The owner was incredibly kind and even included hand wipes, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everyone at work loved the food and kept asking where it was from. “Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. The turkey sandwiches were superb—fresh, flavorful, and made with great attention to detail. We also enjoyed the pizzas, which were delicious, with excellent toppings and a perfectly cooked crust. To top it all off, the tea was incredibly delicious and complemented the meal beautifully.

“Found a new favorite spot in Anaheim. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and hit the spot perfectly.

The waffle was a major highlight, loaded with chocolate chips, whipped cream, and a generous drizzle of syrup. I also really enjoyed the breakfast burrito, which came wrapped in fun checkered paper and paired beautifully with my hot coffee.

The presentation on every plate was great, especially the chilaquiles with that side of fresh avocado. I will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu.“

The shop was clean, had plenty of space to relax or get some work done, and the drinks were delicious. We ordered the banana cream cold brew and the honey lavender latte, both were so good! It carries a distinctly classic European charm, and the displayed tableware was entirely to my taste.

I happened to have a Korean-style snack bar ramen this time, which felt pleasantly nostalgic. Next time, I plan to return to try their cupbap.

One thing to keep in mind is parking—there are only about five free parking spots available, so you will most likely need to find street parking nearby and walk over.

First time was Valentine's Day meal that we loved so much that we took our college-age children and their significant others for a special birthday meal. They were impressed with the food, the presentation, the wine, the service, the view, all of it, and said they plan to also come back for special event meals. Hidden gem! Menu selections are creative, memorable, delicious and priced better than any other place around that serves food of this level. Service is friendly and attentive. Cal Poly Pomona students do the work at RKR, and it feels good to support the cause. Usually only open part of the year when college courses are in session, but we're excited to hear from our server that there are plans to expand service to summer also. A professor from the college was on hand to oversee the experience and was delightful & gracious to talk with and learn from (her knowledge of wine is extensive & informative).“

I combined the passion fruit tea with peach and black tea, y mira, 👌 it's made perfectly.They have that good matcha here too. It tastes like matcha not too grassy because they add the perfect amount and mix it correctly. The popcorn chicken is a must a tiny bit spicy but my daughter loved it too much she ate everything. Went home and paired those leftoves with some pancakes and syrup. The gift that keeps on giving. The fried chicken wings with, i believe it was thai sauce, were delicious as well. “I tried a few of their drinks, and they were quite good. However, I noticed that they tend to add an excessive amount of ice. I’m not a fan of that because it makes the drink feel more like a slushie than a refreshing beverage. The ratio of ice to drink is about 70% ice and 30% drink.“

“Honestly, this is one of those places you almost want to keep secret. The cafe is a converted house, so it feels much cozier and more welcoming than a typical coffee shop. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged.

I ordered a latte and a crepe, and both were excellent. The latte was smooth and flavorful, and the crepe was absolutely delicious. The owner was also incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home.

“Absolutely love this place! Went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. Got there at 11am and had to wait 30 minutes because it is a popular place, but again, worth it. Staff is very friendly. Our waitress was super attentive without being hovering. My friend had a Chicken wrap and I had the Chicken Paninni on sourdough. I upgraded from the kettle chips to their small crock of French Onion soup. Both of our orders were delicious. We choose to sit outside in their patio. So, relaxing and a bit more quieter for us older folks who have trouble hearing. We even had a friendly blue bird visit our table. Very polite, didn't try to swipe our food like a seagull would.“
