Recently, my company had a work retreat, and I suggested we cater from here because their popcorn chicken is seriously the best! The ordering process was super easy—I placed the order a few days in advance, and everything was ready right on time with no issues. “Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Found a new favorite spot in Anaheim. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and hit the spot perfectly.

The waffle was a major highlight, loaded with chocolate chips, whipped cream, and a generous drizzle of syrup. I also really enjoyed the breakfast burrito, which came wrapped in fun checkered paper and paired beautifully with my hot coffee.

The presentation on every plate was great, especially the chilaquiles with that side of fresh avocado. I will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu.“

Of course it’s down to preference, but the consistency was spot on and the flavor was amazing and had a bit of fruitiness to it and it had little chunks of carrot and potato in it. Chicken went well with the curry, was tender, and had good breading. Absolute gem.“

The drinks were fantastic—creative, flavorful, and made with care. We especially loved the unique specialty toppings that made each drink feel a little extra special. The real standout, though, was the warm oatmeal raisin cookie. It was, without question, the best oatmeal raisin cookie we've ever had—soft, fresh, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious.

From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. “Had lunch today at RKR (Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch after seeing the article in the Daily Bulletin. The lovely Mrs. C and I both had the hangar steak with roasted brussels sprouts and fries. I opted to have the fries upgraded to the truffle parmesan version. As with our previous visit, the food was excellent. The brussels sprouts were roasted with a great char and were tender instead of mushy or overly crispy. The parmesan truffle fries had finely shredded chesses and flecks of truffle evenly coating the fries. The last time I had truffle fries in a restaurant they had the parmesan but with a drizzle of truffle oil. This was a very pleasant surprise. The steak was sliced with a light peppercorn sauce which did not overpower the steak but added to it. Of course, the restaurant is a teaching venue with students from the Collins School of Hospitality so service was attentive and excellent. To our meal we each had a glass of a Syrah blend wine and we shared an apple crumble dessert with Fosselman's vanilla ice cream (yummy). The dining room overlooking the hills of Cal Poly with the 57 freeway barely visible in the distance was, as always, part of the appeal of this location. Price for our meal (before tip) was $91. A very good value for the quality of food and experience. I'm sure we'll be back soon.“

“I tried a few of their drinks, and they were quite good. However, I noticed that they tend to add an excessive amount of ice. I’m not a fan of that because it makes the drink feel more like a slushie than a refreshing beverage. The ratio of ice to drink is about 70% ice and 30% drink.“

“We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.“

“The staff are friendly. The pumpkin smoothie tasted like bananas with spice. It also looks nothing like the pic. Not a fan. I wanted to try more items like the watermelon juice, the energy bites etc but they were out of alot of items.
The mushroom burrata toast was delicious. A Lil heavy on the lemon/citrus flavor. But overall good.

“Absolutely loved my experience at PS I Crepe You! The inside is so pretty and thoughtfully decorated — it has such a cute, aesthetic that makes it feel really welcoming and perfect for grabbing a sweet treat or hanging out for a bit.

One thing to note is that ordering is done entirely through an iPad, which actually made the process easy for my teenager but not for me.

“My wife and I stopped by Cafe Valer on a Sunday morning and were thoroughly impressed. The menu is extensive, the service is fast and friendly, and the entire space—inside and out—is spotless and well-kept.

We grabbed a table on the patio under the umbrellas. Portions are generous and the food is outstanding. My wife ordered the Chipotle Breakfast Avocado Panini with a Raw Sugar Caramel Shaken Iced Oat Milk Latte, and I had the Steak & Egg Burrito with a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Everything was packed with flavor. We were too full to try dessert, but that just gives us an excuse to return :D

“Stopped by 7 Leaves during a recent heatwave while visiting in the area - first - while its still around - make sure you try out their Brazilian Lemonade! It's simple - fresh lime juice, ice and condensed milk - but sooo good. Literally replaced (temporarily since it's a seasonal drink) my favorite House Coffee with Sea Cream.

Anyway, wanted to stop by to pick up some cold drinks and get their gift card pack.

This location is directly on your left as you drive into the shopping center. There's a drive-thru - so you don't have to leave the comfort of your car - but I opted to walk in since I wanted to snap photos of the interior.

Plenty of seating throughout the store (I didn't take one side of tables/chairs because it was fully occupied and I feel weird snapping photos of people without asking them).

Service was awesome. The employee had to check if they still had gift cards left - but was super helpful and pointed out that a gift card either gets the recipient a regular-sized drink with topping, OR a large sized drink no topping.

OH - and another plus - they blast the AC in here - so its the perfect refuge to sip coffee while working on your laptop or reading a book during a relentless heatwave!“
