“Cute lounge spot. Would be nice to come with a friend and play some games while we catch up over boba. Didnt try the food so not sure how it is but the cookies are huge! They have smoothie bowls and treats to grab on the go. Tried the caramel toffee milk tea, I haven't tried it yet, and I must say I do like it. I love a caramel, and there's just enough in here without it being too sweet. It's mixed well.“

“Sometimes between shifts I don't have much time to get my early dinner. Moderns is the perfect place to go. The Hawaiian sandwich became my favorite right away, although the chicken one was taaasty! The mocha? Perfection. Chocolaty but not too sweet. Same for their fruity aguas frescas. They happen to be the new owners and they are super sweet!“

“This place is so good! They have an extensive menu that includes seafood, soups, traditional Mexican dishes and breakfast as well as aguas frescas. We’ve tried the flautas, sopes, huaraches, tacos dorados, enchiladas, French fries and agua de melon & Jamaica. Their coffee is served hot and is very tasty. They give chips and salsa and the salsa is delicious. They get busy and sometimes it takes them a while to come around for refills but overall the staff is nice and the food comes out quickly. Since discovering this hidden gem, we’ve already been back twice and will continue to return. Also, their prices are very reasonable and the portions are great as well.“

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Allahumma Barik, we had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing, and every item we tried was prepared to perfection. The hospitality was exceptional from start to finish, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of.

The turkey sandwiches were superb—fresh, flavorful, and made with great attention to detail. We also enjoyed the pizzas, which were delicious, with excellent toppings and a perfectly cooked crust. To top it all off, the tea was incredibly delicious and complemented the meal beautifully.

The coffee is great, and their sandwiches are honestly the best value for your buck — better quality than anywhere else nearby at a price that’s hard to beat. “We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.“

“Great food! Food prepped like you want and/or as on menu. The menudo was yummy and portions were plenty. The potatoes and beans with Mexican cheese were delicious.

“Loved going to this place as a first timer. Was a little scared coming in by myself as this was a new experience for me and the cafe was all alone with no customers. But thankfully the maid on duty made me feel very welcome. She was really friendly and sweet. I asked her questions about certain food items and she answered back in a friendly way. They had some cute kpop and jpop music playing in the background that helped me relax and unwind for the day.

The food was amazing and flavorful. I ordered the katsu chicken curry and the tiger milky tea and both were delicious! The katsu chicken had some crunch to it and was served hot and fresh. The curry reminds me of my favorite gravy sauce used for mashed potatoes on thanksgiving and it was really good! The tiger milky tea was ice cold, sweet, and savory just how I like it.

Overall the environment, food, and hospitality was awesome! I loved this new experience and will definitely be coming back to try some fresh foods and desert items from this little cafe :)“

“Absolutely love the coffee here i wish these guys would take place of all the tarbucks locations unlike tarbucks Klatch can make a great cup of joe while working the fire cleanup, we would frequent this location often definitely worth the drive even this past week i completely missed my exit off the 210 had to double back. For the great smile as I walk through the door amazing energy from the staff and leaving with a ham & cheese sandwich and a large iced not so average joe.

“I tried a few of their drinks, and they were quite good. However, I noticed that they tend to add an excessive amount of ice. I’m not a fan of that because it makes the drink feel more like a slushie than a refreshing beverage. The ratio of ice to drink is about 70% ice and 30% drink.“

I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. However, to my surprise, the Belgium waffle was huge and has a very good texture with a special dough. And Man, that chicken thigh is something else! I love that chicken was marinated first, then fired (or baked) so it's juicy and not dry at all! “Good old fashion breakfast place. Menu is big. We haven't been here for awhile. Prices do go up, but it is what it is. Prices are high everywhere. Portions are large, so it's all worth it. Their pancakes are some of the best you can find. Although I wish they'd serve the larger sausages than the regular sausage links. Other than that, it's a nice place for breakfast.“
