It had bacon, pastrami, ham, lettuce, tomato, avocado, jalapeños, and a bit of mayonnaise. It was a solid sandwich, and I would definitely order it again. I also ordered a Thai iced tea with no Boba. This is exactly how Thai iced tea should taste. I arrived there approximately around 11:30. 30 minutes before they actually closed. The eating area was very clean and smelled great. In fact, it seems like the owners were cleaning the dining tables, both top and bottom, right before I got there. The young lady who helped me out, was very nice and attentive. She explained between the Thai tea, and the Thai tea that was made into a smoothie.“

This popped up and was really close to where I'm working at the moment (there's actually not a lot of options really close). I pulled up into this lot that seems like it's mainly reserved for the carwash customers. Walked in and there was a really straightforward menu with some healthy options as well. It's been about a year at least since I started coming here and I'm so glad I gave them a try! I recently tried their BLTC sandwich, super delicious, a must try! “So happy my wife and I found this place! First off the folks that work here are so sweet and thoughtful. Constantly making sure we have what we need and pointing out tables that are open incase we want a bigger table. You walk in and you’re greeted by the sweetest people . We arrived a little after if opened and there were already many people ahead of us! We tried the chocolate strawberry banana waffle as well as their egg deluxe croissant. They were fairly priced! They were both delicious though I wish I had asked them for a crispier waffle. Their service was just as expected for a small cafe making everything to order. We waited about 10-15 minutes. We would definitely come back to try their bagel deluxe!“

Great place for seniors to take advantage of the specials. Generally you will pay between $15-20 dollars per person but it is worth it. “From the first visit, Civitas has been our favorite ever since! Whenever we are out of town and try another coffee shop we always compare that coffee shop to Civitas. "Is it as good as Civitas?" The answer is very rarely a "yes". Our regular order is an unsweetened iced oat milk latte! “My friend and I visited for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff was. Goku made sure everything was to our liking. The food was served hot, spicy, and quick (my favorite). We highly recommend the goat curry and Tikka masala as well as the cheese and garlic naan. “Was in the Buena Park area and wanted to study/work at a cafe. I went to both Stereoscope and Smoking Tiger, and both places were completely packed. People were literally sharking for a place to sit. I remembered that I had passed by this place before, so I decided to head here and see if there was anywhere to sit, and thank goodness there was! While there is ample seating available, the place is definitely busy as well. There is a mix of people who are there to study, others who are there to catch up/hang out with friends, and those who are just there to grab a coffee to go.I ordered the New London, which is one of their signature drinks. After looking at the menu on my phone, I narrowed down my choice to either the New London or the Spanish latte and then actually asked the worker which one he thought was better and he suggested the New London, so I went with it. The drink was pretty good. A bit expensive, as it was over $6, but I get why they charge more if it's specialty coffee and people might stay for some time to use their space to study/do work.Other things I like about this place as a study/work spot include the fact that there are some seats where outlets are available, which is really hard to find these days. Wifi is also available as well, and I had no issues with the connection. Restroom is clean, too.The only things that I feel are cons about this place is the fact that the seating/tables towards the back of the shop are impractical/uncomfortable and that there is only one tiny menu at the counter, so if you are waiting in line you wouldn't be able to see it until it is your turn to actually order. Best to look up the menu on your phone beforehand if you don't want to feel rushed.“

“If you want a special treat in a Korean style, you have to try Sul & Beans. They are located in different cities as a chain so check the closest one near you. As people typically know, Korean desserts are sticky rice cake, shaved ice, anything with red beans, fruits, etc. Well, guess what? You can get all that in one place and I'm specifically talking about Korean bingsoo (shaved ice.) The ones that they serve is fusion so you get to pick and choose what you want as a topping. I like the fact that they not only kept the Korean traditional way but also combined with ingredients such as bread, cookies, etc. in a very well balanced way so it doesn't hurt the authenticity. Anything you try, I'm sure you won't get disappointed. They also have Bungeo-ppang (aka carp bread) that is a fish-shaped pastry stuffed with sweetened red bean paste, which originated from the Japanese taiyaki. And, you can choose to have cream filling as well if you don't prefer red bean paste. Another option is the toast that has Injeolmi, which is another kind of Korean rice cake. If it's your first time experiencing Injeolmi, I recommend trying the original first. It is warm and gooey at the same time, which is a perfect combination. The shop is pretty small and due to its popularity, it is always packed every time I visit. It is not a place for group because they don't have enough space but it definitely is a place for 3-4 people to hang out. Because it is a Korean owned business, the service is great and everything comes out really fast. I actually wanted to treat my coworkers with these amazing desserts but the only way you can make that happen is to pick up yourself, which is scary because for instance, the shaved ice needs a special packaging and triple care during the transporting process. I called the headquarter to request the delivery method and even though it is in a large order, they denied it, unfortunately.“
