“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Got the chicken katsu curry here. The curry here is pretty close to perfection for me. Of course it’s down to preference, but the consistency was spot on and the flavor was amazing and had a bit of fruitiness to it and it had little chunks of carrot and potato in it. Chicken went well with the curry, was tender, and had good breading. Absolute gem.“

They also have amazing drink items and food items that are literally all on-point. “Cute lounge spot. Would be nice to come with a friend and play some games while we catch up over boba. Didnt try the food so not sure how it is but the cookies are huge! They have smoothie bowls and treats to grab on the go. Tried the caramel toffee milk tea, I haven't tried it yet, and I must say I do like it. I love a caramel, and there's just enough in here without it being too sweet. It's mixed well.“

“Had lunch today at RKR (Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch after seeing the article in the Daily Bulletin. The lovely Mrs. C and I both had the hangar steak with roasted brussels sprouts and fries. I opted to have the fries upgraded to the truffle parmesan version. As with our previous visit, the food was excellent. The brussels sprouts were roasted with a great char and were tender instead of mushy or overly crispy. The parmesan truffle fries had finely shredded chesses and flecks of truffle evenly coating the fries. The last time I had truffle fries in a restaurant they had the parmesan but with a drizzle of truffle oil. This was a very pleasant surprise. The steak was sliced with a light peppercorn sauce which did not overpower the steak but added to it. Of course, the restaurant is a teaching venue with students from the Collins School of Hospitality so service was attentive and excellent. To our meal we each had a glass of a Syrah blend wine and we shared an apple crumble dessert with Fosselman's vanilla ice cream (yummy). The dining room overlooking the hills of Cal Poly with the 57 freeway barely visible in the distance was, as always, part of the appeal of this location. Price for our meal (before tip) was $91. A very good value for the quality of food and experience. I'm sure we'll be back soon.“

“We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.“

“I tried a few of their drinks, and they were quite good. However, I noticed that they tend to add an excessive amount of ice. I’m not a fan of that because it makes the drink feel more like a slushie than a refreshing beverage. The ratio of ice to drink is about 70% ice and 30% drink.“

“The staff are friendly. The pumpkin smoothie tasted like bananas with spice. It also looks nothing like the pic. Not a fan. I wanted to try more items like the watermelon juice, the energy bites etc but they were out of alot of items.

“I was seated outside, not much of a view but that's OK. I had the country fried steak, with eggs over easy and biscuits & gravy. The food was delicious. The gravy had sage in it, but not overwhelming. The biscuit was seasoned, very good on its own. I enjoyed the CFS. My bride ordered a sandwhich. I don't recall but she really enjoyed it. I also ordered a side of their signature Chipotle cheddar potatoes. They were absolutely fantastic. I would go back just to have those potatoes. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Great place to enjoy a breakfast.“

“Absolutely loved my experience at PS I Crepe You! The inside is so pretty and thoughtfully decorated — it has such a cute, aesthetic that makes it feel really welcoming and perfect for grabbing a sweet treat or hanging out for a bit.

One thing to note is that ordering is done entirely through an iPad, which actually made the process easy for my teenager but not for me.

We grabbed a table on the patio under the umbrellas. Portions are generous and the food is outstanding. My wife ordered the Chipotle Breakfast Avocado Panini with a Raw Sugar Caramel Shaken Iced Oat Milk Latte, and I had the Steak & Egg Burrito with a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. “I actually ordered their chicken and waffle for breakfast and not thinking this can be that great (because I didn't choose this place but my mom did 😬). However, to my surprise, the Belgium waffle was huge and has a very good texture with a special dough. And Man, that chicken thigh is something else! I love that chicken was marinated first, then fired (or baked) so it's juicy and not dry at all!
