“My friend and I were looking for some local cafe prior to visiting the Nixon Museum. We ended up at the Friends Church - not knowing the cafe was inside. Soon after we had a warm fellowship and prayed together at the cafe. We thanked God for guiding us there.“

“This is quite possibly the best donut shop in town. I don't think I've ever seen a better donut shop the way they've got to put together the staff the way they've got edible flowers on some of their donuts. There's just so many little idiosyncrasies. That makes this place so great.“

“I happen to go to the tea place next door and saw this place and the menu caught my attention. I was fascinated by the port cutlet and the nice Japanese omelette over the rice with curry. I walk in and I get greeted by the lady who is so nice and friendly. Ordered the pork cutlet with rice and egg omelette and it was delicious
Cutlet was nice and crispy combined with the curry sauce. The was nicely done and added a twist to the rice. Definitely coming back here again. Friendly staff work here“

“A Fresh Take on Tradition - Phin Smith Coffee Review Walking into Phin Smith Coffee immediately sets the tone for a unique experience. This isn’t your average coffee shop; it’s a journey into a blend of tradition and modern flair that Phin Smith has perfected. First, the aroma: it’s enchanting. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the comforting smell of freshly roasted beans. It becomes evident that they source high-quality, single-origin beans, an aspect that hardcore coffee enthusiasts will appreciate. Their signature blend is a perfect balance of bold and smooth, with hints of chocolate and a nice, clean finish. The real game-changer is the way Phin Smith honors the traditional phin brewing method. This Vietnamese style of brewing coffee takes patience, and the result is a rich, intense flavor not found in your typical espresso. The coffee doesn’t just taste good; it’s an experience watching it brew—the slow drip of the filter, the thick coffee mixing with milk (if you prefer), and finally, the all-consuming first sip. Pure bliss. But Phin Smith isn’t all about tradition; they integrate modernity into their practice seamlessly. Whether it’s their sustainable business practices or the innovative seasonal drinks, the creativity is nothing short of impressive. The ambiance strikes a balance between cozy and contemporary, making it an ideal spot for anything from casual meetups to low-key work sessions. The staff contributes majorly to the positive atmosphere, always welcoming and with an in-depth knowledge of their craft. You can feel the passion in the service, which is just as delightful as the coffee they serve.“

“I discovered this cafe a few weeks ago, and I am now a regular customer at the Classic Cafe. Not only are the drinks delicious, but the food and service here is excellent! The cupbap is so, so good, especially for the price you are paying for. All the flavors work so well together, and I highly recommend the bulgogi and chicken cupbap. The sandwiches here are perfection too! The turkey and pesto panini sandwhich is absolutely exquisite, and I have been obsessed with these ever since I first tried them. Really love this place!!“

“My fave place to write and edit and have a little mom's escape for an hour from work and family work. Get a cookie! I usually order an Iced Matcha with Coconut milk - creature of habit. Sometimes they make recs for me to add a flavor or something fun and I always love it!“

“Pleasantly surprised.
Whenever someone suggests "Brunch" I can't help but groan because finding a good cafe is surprisingly difficult. However, Kimmie's was fantastic. Delicious and great portions. My only gripe is that the inside was unbearably hot, but sitting outside was pleasant.“

Kids had Mickey pancakes, husband had an omlette and I had 2 eggs meal. We both loved our meals and the boys were over the moon with mickey pancakes! May have to make a few stops before vacation is over!“

“The service was nice and friendly. The Prosciutto on ciabatta bread was delicious and the bread was toast just right for the crunch and firmness of the bread so it doesn’t crumble in your hand. The Alexander the Crêpe was just a wonder mixes of flavor.“

“Hands down the best coffee shop in OC!! I’ve been coming here consistently for the past 4 years and I haven’t found anywhere that comes close.
- The workers are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. You can tell they enjoy each other’s company which makes the atmosphere light and enjoyable to be around. Kate, the manager is awesome and really goes the extra mile to take care of the shop and its customers.
- The environment is like no other shop you will ever go to. The architecture is beautiful and sets the tone for any work you need to get done whether work or school.
- Last but not least the coffee! Definitely the most consistent and delicious cup of coffee you will ever get. They don’t have 7 different sizes for each drink…? I love it. The name of the drink defines the size which is how it should be! I am a coffee connoisseur, more like an espresso connoisseur. I love anything from espresso shots to cortados/Gibraltar’s to lattes, Golden State makes them all taste amazing. Any coffee shop can make 1 good cup of coffee, but to do that consistently for every single cup is another level of professionalism that Golden State has mastered.
So thankful for this place and the coffee support they’ve given me over the years:)
I just wish they had a rewards program. Other than that the place is phenomenal!“

“Started with delicious chips and dark red mild salsa rich in flavor. Creamy jalapeño salsa is 7 out of 10 on spice rating, too hot for us but good taste. Filet minion taco was beyond delicious. Crispy tamarind shrimp taco was average. Short rib birria was good but a bit too spicy. The chocolate flan was one of the best desserts I've possibly ever had. The mango cake was very good too. Loved the modern yet warm decor. It's noisy but vibrant. A fun experience. Located within the Westin hotel across from Disneyland.“
“MY FAVORITE FOOD SPOT! and i don’t mean that lightly. I’ve been coming here for months and not only has the food been consistently great but so has the coffee. Eric and Casey know what they’re doing to say the least. If you haven’t already check this place out you won’t regret it!“

“I love this spot so much. The food is great, location perfect. I eat here almost every time I'm in the area. I think it's time I try a panini next time I come through. I love that the sides aren't the usual fries and chips. The pasta salad and Cesar salad are to die for. But by far, I love the sweet touch of a little sweet treat along with the order.“

“Most good boba places just do good tea and good boba. That’s it. But this place goes beyond expectation. Their drinks are very thick and used real ingredients. They also have extra healthy drinks that were designed just for their shop.
Their new Korean rice drink was my no1 favorite. I asked for recs and it was not on the menu yet but it’s very good. It smells like hojicha but made of Korean grains. Avocado drink was very good. Best avo drink I’ve had in OC.
Taiyaki was also very good. It’s made fresh at the counter and you could see it. Custard and red bean are my favorite.“

“This food was a step back into Japan. The onigiri are absolutely scrumptious, rivaling those found in Japan. The Tuna+Mayo was delicious. The Salmon was excellent, salty in the best way. But the star was the spam, wow, it was amazing. The matcha baked cookies were excellent, and the tea they serve is perfect with the meal. I highly recommend this place.“
“Came here on a Saturday evening. There were other families there, but it definitely wasn't crowded. Plenty of tables and plenty of space for the kiddos in the play area. Our group had kids aged 2 up to 5 years and they all seemed to have a blast. Ours was the youngest, and he enjoyed running from toy to toy, riding the little merry go round and train, and especially coming down the slide. The kids also got balloon animals. It's $9 for 2 hours for the kids, and $2 for each 30 min. thereafter. Adults are free as long as you order food. We had a mix of Italian and Korean food, and it was actually pretty good. The place is very clean, and they do provide slippers if you like. (You have to leave your shoes in an unlocked locker at the entrance, and everyone needs socks.) Attendants go around the play area once in a while and put toys and things back in tidy places. A sign says you're supposed to supervise your child in the play area, but I sometimes saw parents of older kids not really paying attention. There weren't any mishaps. There are some split screen monitors over in the dining area. Parking is free and validated in the mall/HMart structure. Enter on Manhattan Place, and go straight and up (left and down is for HMart, according to a sign). Merry go round goes off at 15 before and after. Train rides are on the hour. If there's lots of kids, they're sometimes nice enough to run twice. We'll definitely consider returning, even without other families.“

“One of the BEST boba tea in Orange County! Visited for the first time yesterday and had to come back again today. Ordered the YoYo fresh fruit tea with lemon (in lieu of orange), brown sugar boba & rainbow jelly - DELICIOUS! The place is clean with an earthy vibe - there's even a mural with Placentia landmarks. Owner, Adrianna, was super nice and friendly.“

“Rooms and hallways are well lit in natural lights, give it a welcoming vibe, rooms are also clean and spacious. The online check-in had some problem so I was not able to get the digital keys but with the assist of the front desk staff, he was able to fix my problem. Very helpful and well trained. only problem is they have no public parking, valet only, which is not a big deal for me. Location is pretty close to Disney resorts, about 5-10min drive. Will visit again!“
“I tried their peach oolong tea and loved it! They have plenty of outdoor seatings (tables, benches, and booths) and what I also liked about this cafe is that I can bring my own food. You just need to purchase their drinks. As long as you get there between 10 am and 2 pm (Tue-Sat), you can grab a drink and use their cafe area!“
