“Really lovely customer service. I went in because I wanted a buttery croissant. Then, the smell of fresh bread! So good. I bought several pastries and rolls, all delicious. The atmosphere is charming, not pretentious. For a fancy, less hometown feel, go to Crème in Claremont, which has the best damn chocolate chip cookie on the planet.“
“Located in a small strip mall, plenty of parking available. Absolutely love their Thai Tea soft serve. They do have other flavor drinks available, both hot and cold. Home made cookies and ice cream also for sale. You do have the option to make the soft serve into a float with different tea options. I opted to get the “Trophy” which includes all the toppings except for Oreo crumbs. No tables or public bathroom, just a single bench seat while you wait for your order.“
“Second time coming here and food was good again. Also, I like how the waiters and other workers speak spanish so I felt more welcomed (even though Im half American). The place also feels relaxed when youre there eating. Overall, well be coming more often.“
“Was looking for a place to hang while two of my kids climbed at Hanger 18 this past summer and found Lucky's. Well, I was certainly the lucky one. I walked the Upland Village prior and couldn't find a good place to hang and work. There was one small shop but they had no seating. So, I drove on and found Lucky's. The atmosphere is great. Just was I was seeking. Good sized shop, nicely decorated, and open spaces to hang.My latte was well made - steamed properly, not overly hot and not too cold either. Much better than Starbucks.My favorite part of Lucky's was having a comfortable place to enjoy a drink and a snack while getting some work done. Also, I do like their design and look/feel of the place.“
“The service here is awesome! The employees are very courteous and helpful. Also the donuts here super delicious. The donuts here are fresh and have just the right taste and texture. I will be back here again tomorrow. Also this is a great place to refuel during or after a long run.“
“First time trying Indonesian food and what a treat. The menu was well explained in the foreign names so it gave me and my family an easy way to choose our food options. I tried the combo plate special which includes most common dishes , turmeric fried chicken, rendang beef, vegetable curry, turmeric rice and sauteed tofu. We tried various items on the menu with the family and we loved it all. Service was great and we were even greeted by the chef, which she was also the owner, Stanny. She was so nice and asked us how we enjoyed the food. She even remembered all our names. We will be coming back to try more things for sure.“
