“the pastries here are really great. the honeycomb bread and biscoff cheesecake is always a must when i come. i prefer a stronger matcha and their matcha isnt very strong, however i still like it as a frappe upgrade - although it becomes very sweet and doesnt taste like matcha at all anymore. “I recently visited RoyalTea Boba in Grand Terrace and had an amazing experience! This family-owned shop has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a must-visit in the area. One highlight was the special boba milk tea they made for me—it was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the boba pearls had just the right texture.

Another unique feature is their merchandise area, where I found instant bubble tea kits. I bought one to try making boba tea at home with my family. While our homemade version didn't quite match RoyalTea's perfection, it was a fun project.
The shop is beautifully decorated, and the shelves are stocked with various boba tea flavors and kits. It's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into every aspect of this business.

So I decided to give them a try because I’ve never seen a taro drink made like that. And it did not disappoint! And I also ordered their popcorn chicken with sweet chili sauce 👌🏽.“

“Great HaloHalo! I really enjoyed it even after I received it through delivery. Came in a large cup with all the good mixings and layers of shaved ice, milk (your choice of 2% or oat), various sweetened beans, jellys, tapioca pearls, fruits and topped off with a scoop of ube ice cream.

Chicken adobo bomb has a flaky crust similar to a croissant on the outside filled with shredded chicken seasoned as adobo. It wasn’t bad. I enjoyed this flavored bomb better than the corned beef bomb.

Corned beef bomb is the same crust as above. The inside is just corn beef and potatoes. I found the corned beef to be lacking flavor and it just tasted plain overall. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either? It was just meh.

I really enjoyed their crinkle cookies. I order strawberry and lemon. It was bigger than I thought they would be. I loved how the cookie was crispy on the outside and very fluffy in the middle. It was super good coated with powdered sugar.

I was excited to try their guava strudel as I love the guava rolls from Portos. These ones from Kape were amazing. I love that they sprinkle sugar on top of the crust to give it a bit more crunch.

Ube cupcake with the flan on top wasn’t quite hitting for me. The cupcake itself was really dry and the flan is not flan without the caramel sauce. You can taste the ube, but the cupcake itself received was really dry.“

They even have a kitchen in the back where they cook the taro and mung beans etc so that their taro milk tea doesn’t just come from a “powder” but from actual taro. I believe they even have a specialist in charge of quality control of their teas. All in all, they use authentic and high quality materials. It is totally worth the drive to find a 7 Leaves.

We also had Desserts: Favorite crepe and Nutella crepe with strawberries. The strawberry tasted fresh sweet and sour which paired well with the sweet sauces.

“Great place for a girls night out. Great margaritas, good service, great vibe. We sat in a booth near the bar which was hopping but not too loud so you could actually have a conversation. There are multiple rooms in this large restaurant, and each room has a different vibe. Probably the prettiest room in the largest room that has a fireplace in the center. If I went back, I would want to sit there for a change, but you cannot order tacos in that room. Tacos were solid. Not as good as Guisados (sorry) but tasty and there were lots of options, including fish and vegetarian. The tacos were also probably the most affordable item on the menu. The churros were REALLY good. The chocolate empanadas sound better than they taste, but maybe I'm just not a chocolate empanada girl. Everyone who worked there was super nice and accommodating. The waitress gave us excellent recommendations. She could have checked in with us a bit more, but her friendly smile and great attitude made up for that. For a restaurant on Rodeo Drive, there was no attitude or pretension. I would definitely go back!“
