“The Summit Avenue exit on the 15 North before the Cajon Pass has only ever been a refueling spot but yesterday I experienced a minor medical issue that required a lengthy respite from the usual 5pm traffic nightmare. I’d never noticed the Sushi sign on the side of the building as I exited to Summit Avenue but today in desperate need for a safe spot to rest and recover from my medical malady I decided I’d enjoy sushi once I recovered from my health issue. Lo and behold, I discovered a hidden gem that I never imagined was tucked away at the Falcon Ridge shopping center, SUMMA SUSHI!!!! They immediately offered support as I dealt with my health issue and I realized I’d dropped into a place that would have made Cheers, the old tv show restaurant, proud. I sat at the sushi bar next to a wonderful repeat customer who would have made Norm proud. The sushi-rolling experts Kevin & JK knew her well & they joked and enjoyed the experience of sushi dining as only well-acquainted friends do. She was a regular and once my medical situation subsided with their patient support, she suggested I try the seared salmon roll, something I’d never tried before at any sushi restaurant. Servers Michelle & Valerie who’d been quite understanding of my situation when I’d arrived took my order with great service and smiles. The seared salmon roll was the perfect antidote for what had been a difficult health recovery. The salmon was seared perfectly and I wasted no time in savoring its deliciousness. By that time, I had the wonderful experience of meeting Dave, the congenial and gracious owner of SUMMA SUSHI who sat with me and my grandson and shared great stories about baseball and the restaurant’s origins and naming, explaining that he thought of Summa Sushi as the Latin origin of the word summa means peak of excellence. Without a doubt, the salmon and crab rolls were excellent as well as the conversation, banter, service and atmosphere. I don’t often review but when I do I can assure you that it is well-deserved. Dave has created a sweet spot, a hidden gem of sushi awesomeness! It isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a place “where everybody knows your name and you’re always glad you came”, to borrow from the Cheers theme song. I only wish I’d discovered SUMMA SUSHI years earlier. They’ve earned my loyalty for their food, their camaraderie, kindness and fun, unforgettable dining experience. So if you’re wondering where to dine before facing the Cajon Pass north traffic or after making your descent, don’t hesitate to drop in and be sure to interact with this wonderful team that not only offered excellent cuisine but a rare glimpse of truly caring individuals who love what they do and share that spirit of good food and company at a place where they will remember your name. My sincere gratitude and respect to Dave, Kevin, JK, Michelle, Valerie & Victor (kitchen prep) for a wonderful dining experience and new friends that I will definitely be returning to visit, not just for the excellent sushi but for the vibe of a place where they appreciate you and care.”

“This was our first time eating in this place. Unfortunately, we came when the AC was not working and they only have a portable swamp cooler blowing in the dining room. It was very hot, so we sat downwind from it so it was tolerable in there. As far as the food, it was very good and when we're in the area again, we will eat there again. Customer service was excellent, the only negative with the employee who brought us our food we could not understand what he was saying, his accent was very strong but was friendly even with the language gap. Everything was fresh and you could taste the freshness of the food and the potatoe bun set off the burger, very good and fresh. I would give this place 5 stars but the AC not working knocked it down.”

Time taken to cook might be more than in fast food restaurants, but it discloses freshness and tenderness in the meat. Perfectly balanced flavours, not too chilli hot or creamy and sweet everything was excellent. Clay oven / tandoori-made Indian beads were the best eaten in the last few years. “If you live in Fontana try this place out. It is kind of tucked away, but worth the trip. Went on a really hot day. After I ordered I sat and waited at a table. The owner brought me a cup of sweet tea which was really refreshing, at no charge. How often does that happen nowadays. I ordered several things to try, but the one item that really sticks out was the dim sum shao mai. They were so tasty and HUGE! My son really enjoyed the orange chicken, which is something that I typically don’t like, but it was really good. Definitely tasted like it was actual fresh chicken and not some frozen chicken that was used. Everything tasted great and I’ll plan to come back.”

So, one day, I walk into Tealove, and I actually get greeted by an employee who actually seemed happy to work there. So now this is the place where I take my money too. The drinks are great and they have a nice variety of drinks, very colorful ones too. The sizes aren't limited like other places. They have small to jumbo size. Tea Love also offers different levels of sweetness to your drinks from 0 percent sweet to I believe it's 110 percent sweet for your drink. My favorite drink is the Jazime Honey Green Tea with Lychee jelly. In jumbo size. Lol”

I’m not a burrito person, not that I don’t like them, I just prefer other items when available. However, the Cali burrito here with Al Pastor was delicious. I added the spiciest salsa they served along with the avocado salsa and it was perfect. Very good taste to the Al pastor.
My son had chicken nuggets and fries. They are not stingy with their portions. It was a massive platter and the nuggets tasted homemade.
The menu is HUGE. May be a bit too many options, but who can complain about that.

Would like to try some of their specialty foods next time. But just stopped for lunch, and ordered a white boy and subbed the topping for salmon. Not too busy for lunch so I'd recommend lunch. Service was par, never was offered a refill on drink so that can use some practice aside from that the server was kind and brought out orders on time, chef was cool seemed to know a regular. I overhead they even do catering. Might change score next time I try it but for now a solid 4”

“This the perfect little dive bar. Not crowded. The times that I’ve been have not been busy. Just a small crowd. You will notice the same people if you go 3 times or more so you know it’s a neighborhood bar that has some loyal customers. Kinda every one knows each other but not every customer is a regular. They have a pool table & darts. My favorite part so far about going there is when there’s a song on the jukebox & everyone knows the words & they’re all singing. Half the time it’s a song I’ve never heard so the song isn’t necessarily a typical “bar” song. And there are some good singers in the mix! I like that when everyone starts singing they’re not bothering anybody. You can’t really do that at Boston’s! Lastly, all the girls (bartenders) are totally sweet, know their stuff, provide great service & are in good happy moods & don’t make you feel like you’re bothering them. And I also have to credit the one gentleman that works there & is there every single night. When it’s close to closing he’s there washing glasses, sweeping floors, pouring the very last drink for someone, cleaning bar top, whatever needs to be done to help the girls close down. And if you still have a few gulps in your glass, he’s not one to rush out you out. He lets you finish it. Then get out! Im sorry that I don’t know what his position is but I’m certain he’s either manager or owner. For me, being a single lady going there alone (not lonely!), I feel very at ease, comfortable & safe. Even when I leave & go to my car. There’s always 4 or 5 of us walking out at the same time.

I ordered a Pesto Pizza as I really love Pesto! I also got an Italian chopped salad and a lemonade fountain drink! The pizza was made so great, I even added pepperoni and mushrooms as you can add all the toppings you want at no extra charge! The salad was fresh, crisp, and excellent! I had them hold the onions due to my allergy and olives on the side for me as my daughter doesn’t like them and I put on my half. They have the best tasting lemonade, reminds me of my grandma’s lemonade when I was younger! Please come and get your pizza on here!!!”

So that means obnoxiously loud. I don’t typically go to Chili’s. It made it difficult to find since I wasn’t looking for Chili’s. I was looking for It’s Just Wings. It was super disorienting trying to figure out where it was located. After driving around looking for a restaurant that doesn’t exist, finding no signage to indicate where to go, I had to call the number provided to finely figure out that they are basically Chilies falsely masquerading as another Restaurant. That was super annoying. They obviously didn’t read the reviews or they would know this was not a 100 positive review. Smh ?♀️ I said it was super ANNOYING! their response was as if I had the time of my life. Just wow!Seriously? ?
Parking: The parking for dinner time was packed. Hard to find parking. There was a game on inside the chilies ?️ thusly, it was packed.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s not above and beyond. You will need someone to hold the door as it isn’t automated. They do have only 1 level so you can wheel around with moderate ease. The women’s restroom did have a handy capable restroom stall. I would say they meet the bare minimum requirement.”

“If you live in Fontana try this place out. It is kind of tucked away, but worth the trip. Went on a really hot day. After I ordered I sat and waited at a table. The owner brought me a cup of sweet tea which was really refreshing, at no charge. How often does that happen nowadays. I ordered several things to try, but the one item that really sticks out was the dim sum shao mai. They were so tasty and HUGE! My son really enjoyed the orange chicken, which is something that I typically don’t like, but it was really good. Definitely tasted like it was actual fresh chicken and not some frozen chicken that was used. Everything tasted great and I’ll plan to come back.”
