“Really nice place. Pupusas are super good, salsa is super good, and it comes with a smaller spicier sauce that you can add to adjust the spiciness to your liking. It is a little on the warmer side inside the store but the wait is only about 5 minutes so it’s not bad at all.

“El Rincon Pizza Always Gets It Right.. Been going here for a year now and I’ve Never had a bad experience. The pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks are incredible. The dough is a perfect blend, not too heavy and the sauce is very well seasoned. They even have ice cream. The atmosphere is very nice they have tv’s for viewing and it’s spaced out well for intimate dining and big parties. If you’re apart of a blended family or a positive coparenting divorcee’ like myself, this is a great spot for a weekly family meal. 🤣🫶🏾 The staff here are very kind and welcoming and so accommodating to my autistic son(he prefers dining in here).

It’s definitely popular, because a few months ago, I was at the local smoke shop in the same shopping complex about to head over and get a pizza and I overheard someone crying about how they ran out of dough. That’s how great the pizza is😆🥳..

“Let's talk about the layout outside. It has nice decorations. Then when you walk in there are more valuable art from El Salvador 🇸🇻. The menu is very easy to read and understand. I had questions about the menu and they were all answered to perfection. The food was incredible. Payment will be in the form of cash or credit card. Additional parking is in the back if the front street is taken up. All employees had a friendly vibe. I would definitely come back here and try another option from the menu.”

“This place is going viral so I checked it out with a friend. Definitely superior to Chipotle in size, taste, and price. We both enjoyed our food. Good variety of meats and toppings. The restaurant is small and busy, so at peak times it would probably be good to plan for take out.
Our only complaint is that the tortillas were too weak and the burritos fell apart while we were eating them. Using a thicker tortilla would be preferable.
Second visit:
I got the quesadilla this time. Also massive! Tasted good. And I tried the queso and chips. The queso is delicious.”

“The ice cream here is amazing! I've tried the Monkey Business and Salted Caramel Truffle, and both were delicious. My husband absolutely loved the Hurricane Health, which unfortunately is no longer available. Since then, he's tried the Butterfinger flavor, and it's become another favorite.

You can definitely tell this is real, handmade ice cream because it melts so quickly! If I don't plan on eating mine right away, I actually put it back in the freezer for about an hour so I don't lose a single delicious drop. That's one of the things that makes it feel so fresh and homemade.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the customer service has been a bit inconsistent. My first visit was met with excellent, friendly service, but my most recent experience felt more transactional than welcoming. It may have simply been due to the heat or a busy day, as we all have those moments.

One suggestion I have is regarding phone orders. When I called to place an order, I was told I would need to either walk in or order online. I truly miss the days when customers could place orders over the phone. My 81-year-old mother-in-law loves Handel's ice cream, but she's hesitant to order because she's not comfortable using online ordering. Since Handel's has been serving customers since 1945, I imagine there are many long-time loyal fans who may not be as computer savvy and would appreciate the option to place an order by phone. Just something to consider.

Even with that suggestion, I want to thank the staff for providing the community with such great ice cream. We truly enjoy supporting this establishment and would love to see it continue serving the community for many years to come. We'll definitely be back to try more flavors! 🍦”

“I stopped by with my girlfriend because I was craving a smoothie that tasted fresh and natural rather than overly artificial like some larger chain smoothie places. We decided to give this spot a try, and I’m glad we did. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie along with a Belgian waffle to go, while my girlfriend ordered a mango pineapple smoothie. Everything we had was delicious.

The atmosphere was welcoming, the place was very clean, and the woman working at the front was incredibly kind and friendly, even though I unfortunately didn’t catch her name. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be returning.”

“My visit to Maiz Cafe was such a great experience. The staff was welcoming, checked in on us throughout our meal, and made us feel right at home. I tried a fresh made-to-order pineapple and watermelon agua fresca. It was refreshing and the sooo sweet. The surf and turf bowl was hearty, with tender steak and juicy shrimp. The asada omelette was stuffed with well-seasoned meat. We also had the chocolate chip pancake, which was super fluffy and a great side for my breakfast craving.

One of my favorite parts of the meal was trying the house-made salsas. The habanero definitely stole first place for me with its bold flavor and spicy kick. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, making it a spot where you can either enjoy a relaxed brunch or grab something quickly through the drive-thru.

Overall, Maiz Cafe is a great brunch place to recommend, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.”

The only downside is the location next to a smoke shop as soon as you step outside, it smells like weed, which isn’t ideal for families in my opinion. Because of that, I’d recommend ordering to go.

The atmosphere was a little more like a liquor store with all the non food items they are selling and it is a business so I understand them just trying to make a living so it doesn't bother me at all because the food is good and they are very friendly and you can tell by all the friendly conversations with the other customers as they prepare their food.”

“One of my favorite places to haul for. My company has a contract with them and anytime I see them on my dispatch info I’m a happy man. Friendly employees, preloaded trailers, clean restrooms. Even when the trailers aren’t preloaded it takes them an hour max to load them. Every store I’ve delivered to also unloads me within the hour, and they always have coffee brewed. Overall, a fantastic company.

An employee Nick was so very helpful, polite and accommodating. it was very refreshing for me to hear this as so many young folks would have just said sorry try later.
