“The ice cream here is amazing! I've tried the Monkey Business and Salted Caramel Truffle, and both were delicious. My husband absolutely loved the Hurricane Health, which unfortunately is no longer available. Since then, he's tried the Butterfinger flavor, and it's become another favorite.
You can definitely tell this is real, handmade ice cream because it melts so quickly! If I don't plan on eating mine right away, I actually put it back in the freezer for about an hour so I don't lose a single delicious drop. That's one of the things that makes it feel so fresh and homemade.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the customer service has been a bit inconsistent. My first visit was met with excellent, friendly service, but my most recent experience felt more transactional than welcoming. It may have simply been due to the heat or a busy day, as we all have those moments.
One suggestion I have is regarding phone orders. When I called to place an order, I was told I would need to either walk in or order online. I truly miss the days when customers could place orders over the phone. My 81-year-old mother-in-law loves Handel's ice cream, but she's hesitant to order because she's not comfortable using online ordering. Since Handel's has been serving customers since 1945, I imagine there are many long-time loyal fans who may not be as computer savvy and would appreciate the option to place an order by phone. Just something to consider.
Even with that suggestion, I want to thank the staff for providing the community with such great ice cream. We truly enjoy supporting this establishment and would love to see it continue serving the community for many years to come. We'll definitely be back to try more flavors! 🍦“

“Menchie's Frozen yogurt is a great treat. I like that it has no preservatives and no additives. It has a great variety of flavors. I'm so glad I found a good frozen yogurt place. I also love the friendly staff.“

“I went last night on august 21st 2025 and the workers were great there was a lady who was being an annoying Karen to them and she held up the line for like 20 mins I felt bad for them but they handled it great it must be hard to deal with special people all day“

“Valley Ice Cream is decent, but don't expect the macaron ice cream sandwiches to change your life. Maybe I just built it up too much in anticipation. Maybe the lack of a line in the early afternoon made it too easy to obtain; therefore I craved it less. Maybe I should try again.“
