“I would have given this place 5 stars because they truly are the best I've tried here in California, and I've been to several michoacanas. I even dare to say their fresas con crema was better than some I've had in actual Mexico! The customer service is always professional, and the ladies who work there are all sweet hearts. It's a clean place and I don't mind eating in with my kid. HOWEVER , if you are going to rent out their little paletero cart... make sure you get clear on prices on the rental. I was given a price amount over the phone and set up a date for pick up for my baby shower. I was unable to go since I was busy with preparations, so I sent my brother in law. He comes back and tells me he paid almost 3x more than what I had set up over the phone. I should have told him to not make the purchase if it was any different amount, but he paid anyways. Not his fault. But if I would have gone, I would have not continued with the purchase of paletas and rental. So fair warning ... just get clear with prices on that dang little carrito.“

“What I've tried on my first visit: Grasshopper, salted caramel, and banana dulce de leche macaron ice cream sandwiches. I've also tried the peanut butter brownie, blue velvet cake, and red velvet cupcake. Out of the three macaron ice cream sandwiches I've tried is the banana dulce de leche. The grasshopper is mint ice cream and the sandwich is dipped in dark chocolate; the salted caramel is self-descriptive; the banana dulce de leche has a nice flavor of banana and is nicely combined with caramel -- the sandwiches are not so sweet. The blue velvet cake is just okay, it has blueberries but I love their red velvet cupcake! It taste better than the blue velvet IMHO. The brownie is just a regular brownie. Next time if I'm around the area, I will try their milk shake and customize my own ice cream sandwich with their cookies.“

I go in with my fiancé,there's two women in the kitchen that both see us, not a word. We're probably standing there for 5 minutes before my fiancé needs to go ask the man at the register if our food is ready and it was . He was really nice. I go back and approach one of the women and ask for "green salsa" and she just stares at me until the other women comes up and asks what I need, I ask for salsa verde and limes. She says okay and I stand there another five minutes maybe while she's working on other plates, scooping asada and packing orders while she's literally RIGHT next to the salsas and cut limes. This isn't the first time this woman ignores customers . The first time she helped me out she ignored me for again about five minutes until another man comes up to the counter and right away she helps him and doesn't acknowledge me until her boss signals her to help me. It's pathetic. I love this market but the ladies, especially the one with the heavy make up, nope. She needs to go. I wish I could give four and a half stars because overall I love this spot.“

I was driving around looking for an ice cream store, because my favorite ice cream shop (that I’ve been going to since I was 5 years old) was closed due to COVID. I ended up taking a wrong turn and stumbling upon this hidden gem. I got the rolled ice cream for myself and the Mangoneada for my mother. The workers were very polite and social. Both had smiling faces. I rushed home with the ice cream, to get it to my mom in time. She was laying in bed sick, and I surprised her with the Mangoneada, and OH MY GOSH her face lit up. It reminded her of her childhood in Mexico. The next day she messaged me and told me she was going to take me to get ice cream. She wanted me to take her to where I got the Mangoneada’s. She hadn’t gotten out of bed in such a long time, so it brought me great joy that this nostalgic taste got her moving again. We both got Mangoneadas and shared a few smiles and laughs.
