“The moment I walked in, being from LI NY, I knew this was the real deal! The smell of NY pizza, slaps really good! I wish I weren't so far away. I got 7 slices and 2 doughs to share back home 2hrs away. Everyone loved their slices. Reminded them of what I bring back from NY. Mr. Joe and the cashier were super nice, very cool people. When I come to Loma linda for appointments, I will always stop by Slices and Swirls! Thank you Mr. Joe!“

She really made us feel welcome and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. This is a MUST visit if you are in the area! Love this place!“

“The guy was really nice when we walked in. He was patient and apologized to anyone who waited a bit longer. Wasn't much of a wait by the way. As soon as the blonde girl came in from her break, she didn't greet us or acknowledge us, and definitely didn't want to take our order. Maybe she needes a longer break. The guy was still helping another guest and then he helped me. Hiring manager should hire more people like him or increase his hours. He who puts the customers' needs first and help bring back customers.

BTW more customers came along and she still wouldn't come and help him. Talk about Team work.

The inside of Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream is stunningly decorated and perfect in appearance. I absolutely loved their island-inspired design and the laid-back ambiance. The staff were friendly, humble, welcoming, and incredibly cooperative. They offer an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering Ice cream, Smoothies, Desserts, and Drinks. I chose Brownie Sundae with Pistachio, Double Fudge Chocolate, and Vanilla Ice Cream. They beautifully decorated the dessert with toppings like Sprinkles, Peanuts, Chocolate Syrup, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry on top, making it look even more photogenic and irresistible. I took a few snaps of my beautifully decorated dessert and started devouring it without further delay. The dessert was so bomb! It was extremely good, excellent, and impressive. I loved it so much and finished it in 10 minutes! I enjoyed the dessert. I had an amazing time and it’s no surprise that why Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream was crowned San Bernardino County’s Best Ice Cream in 2025. A great place for Ice Cream, Smoothies, Dessert, and Drinks. The prices are quite reasonable and budget-friendly. “The 3 of us got a strawberry, hazelnut, and Belgium chocolate. The strawberry was the best, so refreshing and packed a zingy punch. Perfect for the summer. The hazelnut mostly tasted like chocolate but great texture and my song loved it. My husband got the Belgium chocolate and it was very strong, smooth and delicious, he couldn't finish it all, its very sweet. But we will be back to try every flavor.“

“The two ladies working in there were so sweet. I had purchased gift cards days before and forgot to get the sleeve. They were so helpful and told me to take the ones I needed. I decided to go ahead and use my 800 points and get a mini sleeve of cookies. I had got the two cookies that my husband requested and the one celebration cookie that I really wanted to try. I was just told they ran out of the mini celebration cookie, so they instead gave me a full-size. I truly appreciate how kind they were because they knew how bad I wanted to try it. I will definitely be coming back to this location. The cookies were delicious and the excellent customer service meant a lot. Little things like this go along ways and those ladies don’t know how good they made me feel. I am currently five months pregnant and so the cravings were real lol. Thank you 😊“

The store is a little dirty and could use some spot clean up (especially the sides of the drink fridge) but it's a quiet place and I like the froyo was properly frozen and not making a dripping mess like you see in Yogurtland. Pricing is very reasonable compared to what Yogurtland charges. Employees were really kind and they even sell figurines in the back too!“

“My mom and I stopped by for a sweet treat and the workers here were lovely and patient. We chose to pick our ice cream from their signature creations and my mom went with the German chocolate cake while I picked the mud pie mojo. Both of our cups were packed to the brim with ice cream and after tasting both, I have to say the mud pie was my favorite since it was both creamy, sweet, and savory. The German chocolate cake is pretty good too but it fills like it’s missing something, not sure what.“

“The ice cream here is amazing! I've tried the Monkey Business and Salted Caramel Truffle, and both were delicious. My husband absolutely loved the Hurricane Health, which unfortunately is no longer available. Since then, he's tried the Butterfinger flavor, and it's become another favorite.

You can definitely tell this is real, handmade ice cream because it melts so quickly! If I don't plan on eating mine right away, I actually put it back in the freezer for about an hour so I don't lose a single delicious drop. That's one of the things that makes it feel so fresh and homemade.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the customer service has been a bit inconsistent. My first visit was met with excellent, friendly service, but my most recent experience felt more transactional than welcoming. It may have simply been due to the heat or a busy day, as we all have those moments.

One suggestion I have is regarding phone orders. When I called to place an order, I was told I would need to either walk in or order online. I truly miss the days when customers could place orders over the phone. My 81-year-old mother-in-law loves Handel's ice cream, but she's hesitant to order because she's not comfortable using online ordering. Since Handel's has been serving customers since 1945, I imagine there are many long-time loyal fans who may not be as computer savvy and would appreciate the option to place an order by phone. Just something to consider.

Even with that suggestion, I want to thank the staff for providing the community with such great ice cream. We truly enjoy supporting this establishment and would love to see it continue serving the community for many years to come. We'll definitely be back to try more flavors! 🍦“

“I brought a dozen Into the office. A guy that wouldn't normally have a donut grabbed one because hey said they looked really good when I popped the box open. Someone else happened to also bring a dozen in and everyone agreed that the Good Glaze donuts looked amd tasted better. The staff is always nice, you can tell they love making donuts for the community.“

“Have been going here for the alkaline water for a few months. Owner is very nice and kind. They also have big bags ice and blocks of ice made from alkaline water. Definitely recommend this place for your water needs. They also have ice cold soft drinks, ice cream bars, and all types of candy. Highly recommend.“

“What I've tried on my first visit: Grasshopper, salted caramel, and banana dulce de leche macaron ice cream sandwiches. I've also tried the peanut butter brownie, blue velvet cake, and red velvet cupcake. Out of the three macaron ice cream sandwiches I've tried is the banana dulce de leche. The grasshopper is mint ice cream and the sandwich is dipped in dark chocolate; the salted caramel is self-descriptive; the banana dulce de leche has a nice flavor of banana and is nicely combined with caramel -- the sandwiches are not so sweet. The blue velvet cake is just okay, it has blueberries but I love their red velvet cupcake! It taste better than the blue velvet IMHO. The brownie is just a regular brownie. Next time if I'm around the area, I will try their milk shake and customize my own ice cream sandwich with their cookies.“

“Just a heads up Nu Scoop is actually located inside Mochi Lion, right next to Yogurtland.

I first tried to visit after having lunch across the st at the UV and was craving something sweet. I searched for ice cream and Nu Scoop came up, but it was pretty difficult to find. I ended up driving around the parking lot a couple of times, even looping around Wienerschnitzel before finally realizing thanks to a comment that it’s inside Mochi Lion.

When I went in, I asked to speak with the manager just to share the experience not in a negative way, just as feedback since it was a bit hard to locate. But he wasn't around. Unfortunately, to top it off, the machine was down at the time, so none of the Nu Scoop items were available.

I decided to give it another try the following week. This time the machine was working, but there was only one flavor available, coconut. I gave it a try anyway, and it was actually really delicious. It’s a great option if you’re looking for something dairy-free and high in protein definitely feels like a good post gym treat.

That said, I’d still like to go back and try more flavors since I didn’t have much of a selection the second time. Hoping third time’s the charm!
