They also automatically added a 15% tip to the bill, which would’ve been fine if the service was better. Other than that, the food was great. I hope the service improves with better organization.“

“My wife and I are disabled and attempted to order online about 7:30pm Tuesday, 1/20/26 so she could pick up. For some reason it kept rejecting our cards. An employee Nick was so very helpful, polite and accommodating. it was very refreshing for me to hear this as so many young folks would have just said sorry try later. He spent almost an hour with my wife, communicating with his manager to make it happen and even got us a discount for the problem. Thank you Nick for going above and beyond and the respect you showed my wife.If you were my employee I would give you a substantial raise and would bè in line for management position. “So I was celebrating New Year's Day in Fontana with family but there wasn't very many bbq places open near us. There was however Richard's BBQ nearby, and I like to try new things, so I gave him a call and he said he was smoking up some pork ribs and was selling meals with ribs, homemade beans and corn for $20. I decided to buy a few plates and we were all pleasantly surprised at just how good the ribs were. The ribs were fresh and hot and fall off the bone tender just how I like it. The beans were also tasty, more savory than the typical sweet style of beans you usually get at most restaurants. The beans were meaty, and I could taste some spice mixed in. It was very flavorful and hearty, but not overbearing like chili beans, it was very good and the savoriness was an excellent accent to the meat. The meals also came with corn on the cob, steamed perfectly by the way, and a little container of barbecue sauce On the side. It was a hearty and delicious meal. I will add that Richard packed everything perfectly in the containers, there are major restaurants that can’t do as good as a job as he did. I will definitely be going back.

“As soon as you start to approach you can smell the aroma as if it’s luring you in! I love the beans and the brisket the most and if had a complaint it would be that the portions are a bit underwhelming but the taste is on the money. Even though the portions are on the smaller side this is definitely a places I’d “waste” my money on!!! Treat yourself one and a while.“

“Workers are very helpful and friendly, I can take my time slow in the morning, not to selection of meats in freezer area, maybe the butcher part of the store don't need never go over there, always stocked, only problem is if the day of the sales are on Wednesday, and I in the morning at " Opening " they say there out of the things on sale...ALL OF THEM", but I'm the first person here how can that be, then the management says come back in the noontime, so "I" come back and nothing!, next day " nothing ", this has happened 4 times, why fo your costumers in order to get them to come to the market? but other then it's clean, organized establishment.“

“Pretty dang good food. Price point is a little high tho if I'm being honest. I got the #15 and a side of shrimp rolls and it was 28 bucks. It would have been enough to share but even at 15 bucks a head that's pretty expensive in my eyes. “It's a typical Ono BBQ, I ordered online and came to pickup. It took a few mins for them to acknowledge me and then took another 5 mins to get my food out to me. The food was hot and fresh, it was enough food with 1 of their combos to have for lunch the next day. The food is good but I felt like the flanken ribs were more bone than meat which I know happens sometimes.“

“Most of the time the BBQ beef, rice and macaroni salad are very good. So maybe they have changed or added a cook because tonight it wasn't up to par. Meat wasn't cut as thin and was a little touch. Also, portion was more cabbage than meat. Some minor adjustments and I could give it the usual five stars. Thank you for your great food!“

“Quick service but no explanation as to why I was charged extra .50 for fish for the special. I was told it would take 10 minutes to get the order. When I received the order, the fish was undercooked. The salad didn't have enough salad dressing on it.“

“Im from the bay area and tofu stew/galbi is one of my favorite meals to have. Im very picky/food sensitive and have to try a lot of places to find one that's just right, and unexpectedly this was that place. It beats alllll the korean tofu stew places back in San Jose for me so im shocked it doesnt seem to be a hit with other asian college students & families in Riverside (or maybe i just visit during slow days/hours lol).

They offer combo meal options which is the perfect portion for me if i add a second bowl of rice. Now I dont have to pay $40-50 bucks ordering full portion tofu stew + LA galbi that i cant even finish :') the galbi is never dry or hard to chew, the rice is delicious (very important), they seldom mess up any changes i request to my stew, the prices are fair... love it.

Ive never seen more than one, maybe two waiters working at a time so sometimes u might have to wait a lil bit to ask for something especially if there's other customers, but they're all super nice and do a great job considering they're, yknow, one person.
