“We recently had chef Sam Catering our family reunion. The menu consisted of BBQ ribs, chicken, Mac and cheese, green salad and potato salad. Everyone loved the food! Service was great. Communication was very prompt. We started planning out party last minute and chef and tia were both so helpful . Service went great and they even packaged our leftovers so we didn't have anything to worry about on the catering end. Food was fantastic will definitely book again!“

“First time here. Love the building, how everything is set up western is pretty bad ass. The service here was great, very attentive waitress and bartender. The food was good,not disappointed. I also tried a breakfast shot 10/10 highly recommend & we got champagne as well... it was okay. I ate the country fried steak with potatoes and biscuits & gravy, 9/10. “Wow. Incredible New place in town to eat ! The Owners Leon & Cindy and their team workers wonderful people ! We’re huge BBQ fans and easily made it LC BBQ my number ONE favorite spot !!
The sliced smoked Brisket to absolutely  perfection ! and the ribs practically fell off the bone ! sausage was a 10/10!  With the house made bbq sauce paired absolutely DEEELICIOUS  !! 👌😍
We also tried the cornbread and potato salad both were fantastic!

“Tropical Southern BBQ catered a union dinner meeting for me on Tuesday, 6/3/25. The food was delicious. My members can’t stop talking about how good the food was and to make sure we order from them again. The price was very reasonable and they set everything up buffet style for us. They provided more than enough utensils, plates, and napkins for everyone. I will definitely be using their services again.“

“Pretty dang good food. Price point is a little high tho if I'm being honest. I got the #15 and a side of shrimp rolls and it was 28 bucks. It would have been enough to share but even at 15 bucks a head that's pretty expensive in my eyes. I don't think I will be a frequent flyer but I would definitely eat again if someone else was buying.“

“A taste of nostalgia. This place has been around since my baby was born. I always come here for the french fries; they’re thick, soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside. With some ketchup on the side, they bring a good sense of warmth that lingers even after Moreno Valley Mall has changed drastically.

The Hispanic man behind the register has stayed the same: kind and quick with service. I never have to wait long for fries, like 5 minutes at maximum. Yes, this place has tastier food than good old french fries. But nothing beats the memory of my husband and I taking my daughter here to the playground, and getting those fries right after.“

I love the beans and the brisket the most and if had a complaint it would be that the portions are a bit underwhelming but the taste is on the money. “Dickeys Barbecue Pit Restaurant located in Yucaipa California is a great place to get your favorite smoked chicken,beef,pork,ribs and more! They smoke their meats on premises and the portions are very generous! We had the brisket sandwich with onions,pickles all on a fresh steamy bun! Super fresh and tasty! The serve yourself soft serve ice cream really finished a great barbeque meal!“

“I have been going here for many years, not as frequently as the past, but still go when I can. It is sort of a San Bernardino institution. It is at its best it has ever been right now. The food is excellent, fresh, and prepared well. The staff is always friendly. And the quiet ambiance is appealing. For good Mongolian Bar-B-Q, this is the place to go.“

“Most of the time the BBQ beef, rice and macaroni salad are very good. So maybe they have changed or added a cook because tonight it wasn't up to par. Meat wasn't cut as thin and was a little touch. Also, portion was more cabbage than meat. Some minor adjustments and I could give it the usual five stars. Thank you for your great food!“
