First time going the fish was great I’m gonna have to try those ribs again I’m from the Midwest I’m use to fire on the grill not this oven cooking and calling this grilling. Was not the taste I’m looking for when it comes to grilling it’s almost sickening but the fish was good!
Atmosphere was homey. Small space but it's filled with delicious bbq smell. Food was good. Literally licked my fingers trying to get all that homemade sauce. But overall the BEST part was Darrell. He made me feel like I've known him forever. He's that favorite uncle feel. Huge personality and one of the main reasons I will be coming back. If you want authentic real south bbq, you gotta be here.
I love to eat barbecue and seafood. But this place have some really delicious barbecue. Not to mention there were in business for over 60 years. Plus the kind people that work there know what they're doing they cook delicious soul food . The collard greens on point. The ribs and their famous barbecue sauce. Thank you very much website and seafood I'll be definitely coming in and making an order for my family tonight.

The restaurant’s food is s good, with ribs tender, greens outstanding, chicken tasty, and links mild little spicy. The potato salad is delicious, and the baked beans are yummy. The 3 meat dinner feeds 2-3 people. The customer service is impeccable, and the people are pleasant and wonderful. The food is a 10 out of 10, and they piled that plate up so heavy. This is a spot where there is smoke, there is BBQ. They brought back customer service that people had been accustomed to, and all the meats are excellent, especially the ribs. The old jukebox is a nice touch, and it’s a spot to catch up on events in the community.
