Pupuseria Salvi’s Rialto Reviews
Excellent food and customer service, also a very clean establishment 👌
The típico 1 is a great meal with the two pupusas, plantains, fried yuca, beans, chicharrón. The beans are always consistently good, not too watery and not too clunky. I order a couple times a month and it's always good

Pupuseria Salvi’s Rialto is a popular restaurant known for its authentic and delicious pupusas. Visitors often praise the food for being fresh, flavorful, and filling, with many saying it tastes like homemade food from a loved one. The menu offers many tasty pupusa filling options, including cheese, beans, chorizo, jalapenos, and revuelta. The típico 1 meal is recommended for its great combination of two pupusas, plantains, fried yuca, beans, and chicharrón, with the beans consistently praised for their good quality—not too watery or clunky. Customers frequently enjoy other items like yuca con chicharrón, pastelillos, empanadas, and tamales, often describing them as delicious and well-cooked.
The restaurant’s ambiance is described as clean, cute, and decorated with Salvadorean décor, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Service is generally friendly and attentive, although some reviews mention longer wait times—up to about 50 minutes for pupusas—due to their made-from-scratch preparation. Staff are understanding and offer to take orders over the phone to reduce wait times, which customers appreciate.
While the area may have some minor downsides, such as a temporary strong hair dye smell from the neighboring salon, the overall experience is positive. Many reviewers highlight the authenticity, taste, and affordability of the food, making Pupuseria Salvi’s Rialto a highly recommended spot for pupusa lovers seeking comforting, homemade-style Salvadoran dishes.
