“Visited Sushi Times for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and presentation.
We ordered the Space X Step, which came with 10 pieces of sushi, 10 pieces of sashimi, and several specialty rolls displayed on a large wooden bridge. It definitely turned heads when it arrived at the table, but the food was more than just presentation.
The fish tasted fresh, especially the tuna and salmon. The uni with king scallop was one of my favorite bites of the night—sweet, creamy, and very fresh. The tuna roll had a great balance of flavor, and the taco wasabi added a nice kick between courses.
The soft shell crab was served hot and crispy without being greasy. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and everything came out quickly.
A fun spot for dinner with friends, especially if you're looking for good sushi and a memorable presentation. Would definitely come back.“

“The price is slightly high compared to the nearby restaurants but it's totally worth. It's one of the best Chinese (Sichuan) food I can find in Riverside (and they also offer other kinds of food like orange chicken or sushi as well). I’ve had sushi from so many places, but THIS spot blows every other one out of the water. The food is insanely fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic — like melt-in-your-mouth good. The sushi chef (I didn’t catch his name, but he deserves a trophy) is not only incredibly skilled, but also so kind and welcoming. It was my first time here and he surprised me with a free roll on the house — who does that anymore?!

“I absolutely love Sushi Tomo, I was put on by a coworker about a year ago and have been hooked ever since. The chef prides himself on high quality ingredients and customer service. There have been times when I've brought friends and family here, and the chef sent out special menu items for the table, free of charge. The wait staff are very friendly and attentive to their customers. The AYCE here is affordable and has a wide range of items to choose from, from miso soup to teriyaki chicken & beef to many delicious sushi rolls, nigiri, and maki. The 1 reason this place isn’t a 5 ⭐️ for me is the service. The 2x I’ve been here it’s semi empty and the servers still take a while to come around and ask if we need anything. The servers I’ve had have been nice and polite BUT just wish they would walk around more and ask if we need something. I don’t like waving staff over to get refills or napkins.“

The only thing they’re lacking is the real wasabi on their menu, unlike their Japanese counterparts. Although, that can be a blessing for ones who aren’t used to the strong kick of the real thing. “Friendly staff, immediate seating, and the sushi was perfect. The rice was tender with exactly the correct amount of vinegar, the fish was incredibly fresh and well prepared, and every single thing that I ordered was made with careful consideration.

I had the octopus, escolar, and surf clam nigiri, spicy scallop hand rolls, salmon carpaccio, and seared escolar. They were all incredibly well prepared with well-balanced sauce/togarashi.

I love that the sushi is also sized correctly, each piece is actually a single bite the way they're traditionally intended to be served.

The space is small, however if we end up dinning there we always have a table, didn't remember going there and being able to dine in. Parking is a little difficult as its busy, the store/restaurant is outside superior grocery so its a shared parking lot“
