“Very clean and well lit traditional sushi restaurant. Where the sushi to fish ratio is excellent (1 bite). Fish is fresh and not discolored. I think the owner was out waiter and he was friendly and outgoing. He kept engaging us and asked how our food was. I have been going to this exact location for about 10 years. Not sure if its the same owners but the vibe and quality has never disappointed. Get the quail shooter, oyster shooter and muscles they are top notch!“

The menu did not indicate it had imitation crab in it or crab at all.And it came with crab and a few other ingredients that was not listed on the menu and they didn't want to exchange it. I have been ordering out ever since the new housing community was built and recently catered a small wedding with them and I cannot praise their food enough. I find that their prices and freshness are even better than places closer to the beach. The servers recognize all their locals, the sushi/rolls are genuinely delicious, and the service is fast. Their weekday deals are also incredibly fairly priced and I’m always surprised how reasonable the bill is. Even for friends and family visiting from out of town, Utopia is now my number one spot to take them too. The fish is too fresh to miss out on!“

“This place has great food don't let the bad reviews prevent you from giving it a try! I feel like the other reviews do not know how mexican sushi is done. It is very different than asian sushi, this being said all the sushis I've had from this place have been AMAZING! Their servers are nice and polite. The food is very good, specially if you have had sushi or sea food from Culiacan. In their menu it references many places from Culiacan Sinaloa, which I think was pretty clever. Also, don't miss out on their micheladas and the horchata de coco. I definitely recommend this place.“

“We found this place on a whim and found a gem in this area. They have a homemade sauce that pairs well with our meal . We even bought a bottle and the chef in the back gave us some chili oil that had a lot of heat. We got seafood and it was satisfying. Definitely coming back.“

“My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time. We were impressed that everything we ordered tastes really good 10/10. I had the spicy ramen and he had tonkatsu ramen and we also ordered takoyaki and chicken popcorn. We loved that the ramen was served hot and fresh and the broth was not salty but just the right balance of seasoning. There was just one server when we came but he was nice and attentive even though it gets busy. The atmosphere is dim, I am not sure if its the lighting or the paint or they purposedly preferred it that way. Also, the restroom needs a little more attention. Other than that we will definitely coming back.“

It was placed as side as suggested by the host, especially that I was a diabetic. The water was refilled as needed, which was appreciated. I also asked for a second bowl of miso, which I enjoyed. “The name for this business is SO fitting. My 11YO loves poke and we were looking for a new poke spot somewhere near us and my son found this place. The food tasted SO fresh and DELICIOUS! Update: I went to this location 5/4/26 around 5pm, while ordering my son slipped and fell, there’s a strip of tiles by where you order (for context he’s in crutches) there was 2 employees and neither one cared to ask if he was ok or even check up on my son. I almost walked out but my son really wanted to eat Poke. If it were up to me, I wouldn’t come back because that’s not ok.“

Unfortunately we asked the staff to lower the music one time and less than five minutes later it came right back up.

It’s a little hard to have a conversation without yelling. Would be back for the food but not the music.“

“went in today 6/20/26 at about 18:20 and the person behind the counter with an alternative hair style, piercings, and a full beat of makeup was probably the best server ive had the entire time i have visited. they were attentive, quick, and was able to ring us out (2 bowls) within 5 minutes by themselves. this poke place has always been a favorite for the quality of food but the service definitely makes me want to come back more often. i love the stamp card too 😆“

“Wow! I don’t know what happened, but today in July 2026 we came to try again. Maybe owner saw my last review and made corrections? Today our table was clean. Music was not too loud. TV on and we enjoyed eating and watch a game. Today’s (July 2026) sushi, salat and kama are delicious. I wish, miso soup will be a better test, but it’s ok. My son needed to mix miso to make a soup. I wish, it will always good test for all japanese food! I still leave my old review, a little bit make it’s better.
Old review: The price was very good for 2026—only $30. Unfortunately, my hands were stuck to the table because the tables weren't cleared properly, and my water glass was broken. We ordered salmon raw eggs (ikra). It was average quality, but for that price $30 “all you can eat” it's okay. The rest of the sushi was terrible! The tsuna was like a rubbery, the salmon was like something from a cheap supermarket, and the cucumber salad was a complete nightmare—unsalted and watery. Same with Edamame. Miso soup was not like its should. It was like a warm water. Music is as very laud, impossible to talk. We ordered ramen, which immediately smelled like regular instant ramen from “Walmart” or “99 cents”. I hope the owner sees my review and do something to keep his business working. Forgot to mention, that they charge for left over, but no any signs that they charge. If I didn’t ask a waitress, I will be probably charged. Be very careful!“

“We went here for my brothers birthday for all you can eat and it was like 2 other people's birthday and they would turn off the lights and have disco lights and music play as they sung happy birthday with the flame spark thingy on the slice of cheesecake. The employees were great and tbh i didnt eat that much cause I got full quick all the rolls were great except the strawberry cheesecake which was horrible and I almost threw up but I expected to be horrible and I knew it would be so im not hating on that and idk what its called but the fried chicken slice things were dry and the terriaki beef was even drier but they were both great“
