“Tried the Ninja Roll, Tuna Roll, and Salmon Roll and honestly everything was so good. The sushi rolls were huge. I’ve had a lot of sushi around Orange County, but this was probably the thickest sushi roll I’ve ever had.

The shrimp tempura was also impressive. The shrimp itself was really big and thick. I don’t think I’ve seen tempura shrimp like this anywhere else in OC.

The salad was surprisingly amazing too. Definitely don’t skip it.

We finished with macaron ice cream for dessert and it was a perfect ending.

The owner was very kind, and there were 2–3 chefs working when we visited. The shorter chef was especially friendly and made the experience even better.

For me, this is easily one of the best sushi roll places in Orange County.“

If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Chino Hills, Kiku Sushi is it. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance transports you — the traditional banners, warm lighting, and J-pop playing in the background set the perfect mood.
The service was wonderful. Our waiters were so sweet and attentive, always checking in without being overbearing. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the experience.
Now the food — where do I even start? Everything was absolutely incredible. The fish on the nigiri was unbelievably fresh, like caught-that-morning fresh. You could taste the quality in every single piece. The Cucumber Fantasy roll was hands-down my favorite — light, refreshing, and perfectly put together. We also had the garlic edamame, a rainbow roll, and some beautiful sashimi-topped rolls, and there wasn’t a single miss on the table. We also paired everything with a Sapporo and a Terra beer, which hit perfectly with the meal.
We left absolutely stuffed and completely satisfied. Kiku Sushi is now a go-to spot for us. Needless to say this place was delicious and has a good variety of different options. Definitely recommend checking out the mixed tempura, soft shell crab and the spicy tonkotsu ramen. “Great place for ramen, and they are not shy about portions. Recommend the ramen for 2 people if getting sushi and sashimi. While on that note, the sashimi we fresh and thick portions. “Wow this place surprised me so much, I went on my birthday it was a Thursday mid day and it was lonely. Not sure if that’s good or not but as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed to a nice beautiful atmosphere.

Open concept, nice design. We were serviced beautifully everything was clean and squeaky clean floors.

Menu was okay to read, but we were able to order a few yummy rolls.

Wow the my favorite was the Vegas roll the combo with the crispy outer layer and the fresh fish on top with avocado with sauce oof it was delicious a must order option!
Everything was delicious and what made the difference was freshness.

I would definitely come here again or order out, but it seems a lot of people order out. Dining in was a great experience and more need to come and experience everything as well at least when they can.

Parking was a bit difficult, one level and easy wheelchair access.

“Everything is good. Their sushi is superb and the hamachi kama is soooo delicious, we ordered another one because my brother in law Jim devoured it. He don’t really eat fish, but when he tasted the hamachi kama , he said it’s the best tasting grilled fish. This is a small family-owned restaurant and the owners are always working hard and cleaning constantly. “Great little poke bowl place. I'd go pretty much anywhere to try a good bowl, and I'm glad this place is close at hand, because it's become my favorite.

The interior is small but clean. The portions are generous, they usually have a nice deal going on, and they don't hold back with the toppings. Toppings are always fresh, fish tastes great, spam musubi is big and yummy, and plenty of sauces.

There's a little cooler with canned and bottled drinks you can choose from (I usually grab the green or jasmine tea), as well as a miso soup + fountain beverage station.

Service is always friendly. I love stopping by here after work; and I always leave full and looking forward to the next time.“

Got a 2 protein poke bowl with 2 scoops of salmon. I asked for half rice and half salad, but wow there's a LOT of rice. My brother didn't mind since he likes rice, but I was a bit peeved. (EDIT: Oh, also the poke bowl is drowned in sauce. My brother loves eel sauce so he was glad, but just letting other customers know!)

The staff behind the counter was nice and was patient with me while I was asking my brother for the toppings and sauces that he wanted in his poke bowl. Sorry I took so long, at least there was no one in the store!
