“Everything is good. Their sushi is superb and the hamachi kama is soooo delicious, we ordered another one because my brother in law Jim devoured it. He don’t really eat fish, but when he tasted the hamachi kama , he said it’s the best tasting grilled fish. We’re from Arizona, but my sister in law and her husband is just 5 miles away from this sushi restaurant. We’re the one who introduced this place to them . “Great little poke bowl place. I'd go pretty much anywhere to try a good bowl, and I'm glad this place is close at hand, because it's become my favorite.

The interior is small but clean. The portions are generous, they usually have a nice deal going on, and they don't hold back with the toppings. Toppings are always fresh, fish tastes great, spam musubi is big and yummy, and plenty of sauces.

There's a little cooler with canned and bottled drinks you can choose from (I usually grab the green or jasmine tea), as well as a miso soup + fountain beverage station.

Service is always friendly. I love stopping by here after work; and I always leave full and looking forward to the next time.“

“This is a hidden gem, let me tell you. I almost turned around because of the unpleasant environment outside, but once you pass that door, you’re transported into a completely different world.

A cozy place to enjoy authentic Japanese food. We ordered rolls, salad, and sashimi. The salmon wrapped crab meat sashimi is my favorite.

Be mindful of their schedule for lunch as they open for only three hours from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.“

I always go there around afternoon and sometimes the food left over or I pick up take to go., they just Give me a looks like a very cheap Plastic bag and they don’t give me a nice paper bag. I saw they give Other customers its a black paper bag , but give me just a cheapest plastic one, The tip I always give 15% or 18% even I pick up to go still give 15% tip just don’t understand How can treat customer difference.“

“Everything is absolutely excellent ! The quality of the food, the service, and the lovely lady at the counter who took the time to advise us and help us choose. The last time I had sushi this good was at Tsunami in Tampa, Florida!

My sister and I loved it so much that we came back three times in the same week. We absolutely had to check whether it was really that good or whether the first time had just been a lucky day.. And yeah, it was just THAT good and perfect every single time! 😂

I wish theyi had several locations across the United States so I could eat there wherever I travel. Taberu Sushi was absolutely incredible. This is a family-run restaurant where you can immediately tell how much pride and care goes into the food.

We ordered the 16-piece Sashimi Box, which included bluefin tuna, cherry salmon, kanpachi, kuro dai, shima aji, toro, snapper, clam, mackerel and amberfish. Everything was unbelievably fresh and beautifully presented. The quality of the fish really stood out.

We learned that the chef is extremely particular about his fish. If something comes in from a vendor and isn't up to his standards, he sends it back. He also doesn't cut the fish until you actually order it. After eating here, you understand why. The texture, temperature and freshness were on another level.

We also had the scallops topped with uni and caviar 🤤, which were amazing, and the tuna toast was so simple but SO good. Honestly, there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again.

Lynn, the owner, was gracious and wonderful, she made us feel so welcome. Derek was our server and was equally wonderful and attentive. You really feel the warmth of a family-run restaurant here.

Even though they are small they pumped out the orders with great speed and finesse. Also, they have very unique sushi rolls that I haven’t seen at most sushi bars.
