“I love Sushi and have had this delicious food at many many places. Tampopo is easily my favorite. The rolls are generous in size, complex in flavor and creative in design. I can especially recommend the Hot Night roll and the Ninja Roll. If you are in the mood for the best sushi in town please give this place a try!“

“Everything is good. Their sushi is superb and the hamachi kama is soooo delicious, we ordered another one because my brother in law Jim devoured it. He don’t really eat fish, but when he tasted the hamachi kama , he said it’s the best tasting grilled fish. We’re from Arizona, but my sister in law and her husband is just 5 miles away from this sushi restaurant. We’re the one who introduced this place to them . We will definitely come back again at this sushi place. Very friendly server even the owner is so cool. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this restaurant.“

“Great little poke bowl place. I'd go pretty much anywhere to try a good bowl, and I'm glad this place is close at hand, because it's become my favorite.

The interior is small but clean. The portions are generous, they usually have a nice deal going on, and they don't hold back with the toppings. Toppings are always fresh, fish tastes great, spam musubi is big and yummy, and plenty of sauces.

There's a little cooler with canned and bottled drinks you can choose from (I usually grab the green or jasmine tea), as well as a miso soup + fountain beverage station.

Service is always friendly. I love stopping by here after work; and I always leave full and looking forward to the next time.“

“We have been to this wonderful place several times and every time we come it is great! It can get very busy because it is great and because it is small. They have used their space strategically to get as many tables as possible. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Tonight our server was Tang (not sure of the correct spelling) and he was exceptional!! Fantastic energy, super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! They have a separate vegan menu which is really awesome! Now the food…absolutely delicious and quite filling! We always leave with leftovers for the next day. Today we got (all vegan) Veggie Tempura Plate, Vegan Crispy Rice, Caterpillar roll, and CA Crunch roll. Our server also brought us the Salmon roll. All were SO good! We were also given a scoop of green tea ice cream which was also really tasty! This is a fabulous restaurant that we will continue to frequent and highly recommend!“

“This is a hidden gem, let me tell you. I almost turned around because of the unpleasant environment outside, but once you pass that door, you’re transported into a completely different world.

A cozy place to enjoy authentic Japanese food. We ordered rolls, salad, and sashimi. The salmon wrapped crab meat sashimi is my favorite.

Be mindful of their schedule for lunch as they open for only three hours from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.“

“My 1st time at Wazabi, despite living in Orange for 25 years. Holy cow, was the food delicious and service friendly and prompt. We were a party of 5 and waited less than 10 minutes. I didn't catch our server's name, but she was wonderful. My son & I ordered the chicken katsu combos & the chicken was so crispy, moist and tasty. As a group, we also ordered specialty rolls and salads. We will most definitely return.“

“I really loved this place! Such a good spot for date night. I really enjoyed the bbq ribs appetizer. My boyfriend had the fried oysters appetizer all to himself. I loved the albacore served with very thin slices of onion and a small bed of rice. The California roll was superb. Washed it all down with their Nigori sake & crème brûlée. Love that they are open late on Saturdays too. 10/10 for me 😍“

“You know what. I love Sushi and I’ve traveled around trying many sushi restaurants trying to find unique quality sushi restaurants that have that flare to make you want to come back again and again. I found that this Sushi restaurant was one of those I would visit again. You know what sets it apart. Is the sushi guys at the sushi bar that welcome you in and make sure to say goodbye on your way out. Not only is there a great greeting, but the service is great too. Even though they are small they pumped out the orders with great speed and finesse. Also, they have very unique sushi rolls that I haven’t seen at most sushi bars. As a sushi enthusiast, it fabulous to find new rolls to try and of course stick with the occasional favorites. “My girlfriend and I came here on a Friday night around 9PM for some sushi and let me tell you this place doesn't disappoint. We came around 8:30PM there was a reservation slot for 9PM but we didn't want to wait so we decided to take the chance and go in. We didn't have to wait. We started with some poke nacho, they were good, but not the star of the show. We also ordered some sashimi and the cuts were thick and taste delicious 😋. However, these were still not the star of the show. The true star was their black cod sushi(black dish). I had my doubts at first when my gf ordered it but when it came out and I had one of the 2pcs serving and my tastebud exploded. So we ended up ordering 2 more orders. Ponzu is great place for a nice date night I approved👍. Services was fast and very attentive. I enjoy the fresh wasabi that they serve with their sashimi and when I asked for more they brought out way more than what's originally was served, this place doesn't skim.“

“Just grabbed some food from Spin Teriyaki & Sushi in La Habra and I gotta say Josh set the tone from the jump. Dude answered the phone like a seasoned telethon closer I half expected him to ask for a donation at the end 😂

Order was dialed in ready right when we walked in and he had everything packed up clean utensils sauces the whole deal. That kind of attention to detail doesn’t happen by accident.

“Recently came here for an early dinner after seeing it on social media & we were plesantly surprised. for one, they now have AYCE sushi on the menu, regular price menu comes with sashimi & shabu hot pot - which was neat.

tons of rolls to choose from & i love that it comes mostly in 4, meaning you can try plenty of different ones. They also have a good amount of fried items too!
