“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

“I had the privilege of ordering the three item combo at this establishment. The food was so phenomenal plus I ordered an additional item of potatoe and cauliflower. They provide a good amount of food to for a second serving. This is a must go place to order your next meal. I will be visiting this place soon.“

We were intrigued because it occupies the same space as Supatra's, a spot we used to frequent years ago before the change in ownership. We called ahead to make a reservation and were seated promptly within a minute of our arrival. My wife follows a gluten-free vegan diet, and Thai food has always been a reliable choice for her. She called in advance to ensure options were available, and the staff was accommodating. Our server, Paul, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure the kitchen was informed about my wife's dietary needs, making the experience seamless and stress-free. Here's what we ordered: Tom Kha Soup: Excellent, bursting with rich and vibrant flavors. Summer Rolls: My wife loved them--fresh and perfectly prepared. Mango Mood drink: Another hit, beautifully balanced and refreshing. Wine: A familiar choice for my wife that paired well with the meal. String Beans and Eggplant: Very delicious, with bold and flavorful seasoning. Crying Tiger: Unfortunately, this dish didn't meet my expectations and is one we wouldn't recommend. “Everything is good. Their sushi is superb and the hamachi kama is soooo delicious, we ordered another one because my brother in law Jim devoured it. He don’t really eat fish, but when he tasted the hamachi kama , he said it’s the best tasting grilled fish. We’re from Arizona, but my sister in law and her husband is just 5 miles away from this sushi restaurant. We’re the one who introduced this place to them . “I absolutely love this restaurant! As a celiac I have very limited options on places that I can safely eat at and I feel extremely fortunate that this is one of them. The food is exceptional and being all gluten free I can enjoy a variety of amazing dishes here. The service is also wonderful with attentive waiters who are full of life. “I didn't take any photos, because it was mostly just appetizers and drinks, but we had a wonderful evening here tonight. Sat in the bar and our food and drinks came out sooooo fast! But in a good way! Super efficient and everyone helps everyone. All of the wait staff was smiling and cheerful. It was so nice to witness. The fried shrimp I couldn't eat, didn't look like shrimp, a pounded flat breaded version, the pork sweet and soùr were dry, very crunchy and over cooked. I didn't eat it either. I'd give Tans a 7/10. The only area that could use a bit of improvement is the ambience. It’s not bad by any means, but it could use a little more warmth or character to elevate the overall dining experience.

Dessert was the main letdown. The portion was quite small, and it looked a bit dry, which didn’t really match the quality of the rest of the meal. It felt like an afterthought compared to everything else.

This is my go to pizza restaurant when I have limited time...say during the work week for lunch...because you can create your own pizza from a good variety of toppings and they prepare and cook it FAST!! 1 whole pizza can be too much for one person at lunch so I will often split the pizza in half with a lunch buddy and we both get our own pizza made to our own taste. You have to try the blood orange juice they have instead of a soda...it is delicious!!“
