They were very generous with the meats. I didn’t even need to add any sauces to the broth bc it tasted amazing the way it was. I could definitely tell their broth was brewed for at least 48 hours; it very smooth and no MSG. My favorite part was the short rib! It easily came off the bone and full of flavor. They offer unlimited noodles, so of course I took advantage! 10/103) Fish Sauce Fries - I started off with the Fish Sauce Fries as appetizers. It came with a “female” and “male” 40° nuoc mam perfume bottle. Such a fun idea! The fries were already tossed in fish sauce, but if you want more flavor, a couple spritz of the “perfume” will do. They also gave a generous amount of fries for an appetizer. 10/104) Herbal Iced Tea - So refreshing! After eating two steaming bowls of pho and nuoc mam fries, this drink really helped refresh everything. They have a couple other menu items but the Pho is why you come here, I like to take my son here they're open late until 1:30 a.m., It's always clean and the staff are nice. Random, but it was fun to see the steam rise from the clay pots every so often inside, and it feels like a huge humidifier. The meat is always good and they give you two halved eggs. It’s very spicy and I usually can only eat half which leaves me with leftovers.The soy garlic wings are really good as well as the K-pop tacos. They’re jiggae isn’t something crazy good but it’s still pretty delicious.The only issue I’ve had here is the maybe 10 times I’ve been there is one waitress who doesn’t like to write down any orders and when I went last time, she tried to memorize our order which was only two things and she got them all wrong. I was given Seoul Ramen instead of the Ramen bokki and she added cheese to my already wrong Ramen order when it was supposed to go on the dukbokki dish. They let me keep the Ramen and made my actual order, but it was about another 10 minutes of waiting.Other than that, it’s a great place. You can also order pick up and it’s been very good that way too. I just prefer to eat in if I can.“

The Passion Fruit drink is refreshing and appears to be handcrafted, with the pulpy seeds and all, and was perfectly sweet even without an add-on. “I have been to many Bun Bo Hue restaurants in OC and I must say Hue Kitchen stands out on top for me. For those who look for a bowl of bun bo that resembles home cook then this place is worth a try. The bun bo here is not oily, the meats are flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect softness & bounce to them. I like that the broth isn't spicy and customers can adjust the spiciness on their own through the sate sauce on the table. It's no wonder I see so many families bring their small kids here to eat. Another thing I really like is they cut up the pork hock in slices which makes it so much easier to eat! I know it's traditional to have the pork hock in a big chunk but to me it's a hassle to eat. The service here is always nice. I've never had any problems with the staff.“

And less veggies and more noodles because there was not enough noodles in the bowl. My dad got the Shaken Beef with rice and the Beef was Filet Mignon I tried my dad's and the sauce was so good. So overall both of the food items we ordered were good. The only complaint I have was the restrooms they were very dirty and unpleasant to walk in especially with the horrible odor. So hopefully they can clean the bathrooms more often and use an air freshener. You do not need the sweet fish sauce because everything is so flavorful by itself, but it's definitely a nice addition!However, I don't necessarily care for the soups here. This was our second time coming to this place. The first time we came, I dont remember much, but we decided to come back anyway. This round was much rememberable. We took a little drive further down and found Thai Avenue.The restaurant looked pretty inviting even during lunch hour on a Sunday.Ordered their fish cake appetizer for starters and they were absolutely delicious even though Mom didn't think they would be good for the first try.Next 2 orders of Pad Thai, Pah Kee Mao, and I got the Khao Kai which was amazing to my taste buds and palate. My first try of this amazing flat rice noodle dish and I will get this again for sure.Pah Kee Mao (aka drunken noodles) was also a hit here and if you enjoy this Thai dish, you won't go wrong here.The Pad Thai was a bit too sweet to be honest, I understand different cooks, different locations. Although none of the food blew me away I thought everything I had was tasty and was great quality for mall food (especially for the price). The potstickers had good flavor and went well with their sauces but they could be a bit more crispy. The noodles were really nice and chewy and had great sauces! Service was quick and we got our food in about 10 minutes. The worker was nice and explained their menu to us when we asked. Overall a great addition to brea mall and I would recommend people give it a try!“
