“I enjoyed the chicken chow mein, delicious bbq ribs, rice ok, soup egg drop ok, vegetable egg roll wish I can have with pork or chicken, fried noodles delicious. I plan to go back again. The fried shrimp I couldn't eat, didn't look like shrimp, a pounded flat breaded version, the pork sweet and soùr were dry, very crunchy and over cooked. I didn't eat it either. I'd give Tans a 7/10. The food was enjoyable and clearly prepared with care. Flavors were solid across the dishes, and you can tell there’s attention to quality and presentation. Service was also friendly and attentive, which made the visit comfortable.

The only area that could use a bit of improvement is the ambience. It’s not bad by any means, but it could use a little more warmth or character to elevate the overall dining experience.

Dessert was the main letdown. The portion was quite small, and it looked a bit dry, which didn’t really match the quality of the rest of the meal. It felt like an afterthought compared to everything else.

“Had the best food at Smoke Queen Barbecue: the tri tip, chicken, sausage, ribs, and delicious sides were all fall off the bone fantastic. Try the sesame slaw with spicy cucumbers, macaroni and cheese and fries. We loved the banana pudding, bread pudding, beers on tap, all with a great smile and playground to enjoy with our family. If you haven’t tried Smoke Queen Barbecue, you are missing out. So scrumptious!“

I asked the lady at the front desk if it was possible to have non-spicy food, not even pepper, and she was incredibly kind and accommodating. They immediately agreed to modify the recipe and prepared everything without any spicy ingredients, which I truly appreciated.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really care about their customers and are happy to adjust dishes to make everyone comfortable.
Prices are typical for Anaheim Hills, so nothing unexpected there.

I especially like the light numbing aroma, paired with hot rice, it is simply a healing tool in winter!

Guobao Pork: Under the golden and crispy skin is tender and juicy tenderloin. The ratio of sweet and sour sauce is just right. You can hear the "click" when you bite into it! The texture is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is definitely a textbook interpretation of Northeastern cuisine!

Home-style tofu: The tofu is fried until it is charred on the outside and tender on the inside. It absorbs the fragrance of the sauce and is smooth and tender in the mouth without losing the bean flavor. Paired with the crispness of fungus and green pepper, it is full of texture, simple but full of homey taste, and it is a perfect meal!

The three dishes in this restaurant each have their own merits. The taste is authentic and the portions are substantial. You will become a fan after eating it once! Highly recommended to friends who love food~“

“Following the Michelin Guide. We've been to this little spot a few times now. It's cheap, tasty, filling, fast, and efficient. No frills, no polish, no pretension. Very modest, hectic, a bit chaotic and rough around the edges—exactly how a real Asian (Chinese?) eatery should be. We tried the noodles, several kinds of dumplings, dim sum, smashed cucumbers, and more—everything was delicious. But if you're after polish and glamour, this isn't your place; you won't like it.
