“Overall, the restaurant was average. The Mongolian beef was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The honey walnut shrimp was the standout dish and had good flavor and texture. The chow mein, shrimp fried rice, and kung pao chicken were all fairly average and tasted about what you’d expect from a typical Chinese restaurant.

One positive was the very generous portion sizes, which offered good value for the price. While the food was satisfactory, most dishes didn’t stand out enough to make this a destination spot. Overall, an average dining experience with large portions and a few highlights.“

We had two guests with food allergies, and he took the time to ensure their meals were handled carefully and accommodated without any issues. “Absolutely delicious food and outstanding service!
From the moment we arrived, we felt very well taken care of. I asked the lady at the front desk if it was possible to have non-spicy food, not even pepper, and she was incredibly kind and accommodating. They immediately agreed to modify the recipe and prepared everything without any spicy ingredients, which I truly appreciated.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really care about their customers and are happy to adjust dishes to make everyone comfortable.
Prices are typical for Anaheim Hills, so nothing unexpected there.
One small note: on Sundays the restaurant is open from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, and it looks like this might need to be updated on Google.

“I had an amazing dining experience at China Kitchen! We ordered the honey glazed walnut shrimp, orange chicken, vegetable chow mein, combination fried rice, xiao long bao dumplings, and chocolate dumplings for dessert. Every dish was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor.

The honey glazed walnut shrimp was perfectly crispy and sweet, the orange chicken had just the right balance of tangy and savory flavors, and the vegetable chow mein and combination fried rice were fresh and flavorful. The xiao long bao, dumplings were a standout juicy, delicate, and expertly prepared. The chocolate dumplings were the perfect way to end the meal.

Beyond the excellent food, the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend China Kitchen to anyone looking for authentic, delicious food and outstanding service!“

“First visit with a friend who has been there multiple times and is one of her favorites. Ordered Walnut Shrimp, MaPo Tofu, Sautéed Eggplant, "A" Vegetable, Hot Chili Pepper Whole Fish. All dishes were delicious. My only disappointment was the amount of fish ratio to the price. Extensive menu and looking forward to returning to try other dishes.“

“My dad took me here when I was a kid. He absolutely loved the meals from this place. The last time I went here was sometime before I started University.

The food here is just so good and nostalgic. Honestly I find it a bit better than Panda Express. Or maybe Panda Express would get jealous so fast.“

“I love this place and they're chow mein it's so delicious even their fried rice is good to me which usually I only get chow mein or a tiny bit of rice but I wish I had gotten more the last time I went. There's a Chinese food place close to my house but I always drive out of my way to go to this one.“

“It's a wedding and event banquet venue seating up to 600 people, with sound equipment, lighting and a dance floor with tasteful decorations.

They serve 7 banquet menus for tables of 10; starting at $238 with 7 dishes. The $286 has Maine lobster with lo mein noodle, also fish maw soup, walnut shrimp, deep fried whole chicken, deep fried fish filets with mango chutney, fried rice ect. Top wedding menus are in $500-600 with exotic and expensive ingredients. Large sales meetings have been known to order low cost menus with only 2 dishes.

Among many banquet venues, this chef is very good. All his dishes are fresh, tasty and flavorful without excess sugar, fat, spices or MSG.

The wait staff was polite and efficient. Service was good. Wine bottles were popped before food was served. Even in an event with 50 tables and 500 guests, all dishes were served fresh and hot in the correct sequence to all tables within 5 to 10 minutes.

They have a private room where they will cater to smaller parties with only 1 or 2 tables. BYOB and just tip the waiters, no corkage fee.

This is a very nice, economical place with authentic, tasty, healthy Mandarin cuisine to take your family and wrap leftovers to go. Worth it!“

“The gan-jjajang had a strong wok hei flavor and was absolutely delicious, and the jjamppong was also great with a generous amount of seafood. The service wasn’t bad, but it didn’t feel particularly friendly either. The atmosphere was just your typical mom-and-pop shop. I would totally go back there for the flavors!“

“Love their chow mein - the best. So far I've had their pork - delish , terriyaki chicken - nice and plumpy,. Egg rolls - crispy, sesame chicken - ok,. Orange chicken - ok. I wish they were closer to me, oh well it's worth the drive.“

“Amazing amazing amazing. The food is so full (enough for 2 meals/person) and so freaking delicious. I always come by every time I’m in the area. My favorite is bbq and kung pao chicken. They are so good that I couldn’t try the other items lol. Sometimes I just eat some in the car right away because I’m inpatient haha. The service is excellent, they are sweet and friendly. Keep in mind that the place inside pretty small (3-4 small tables) so it’s better to take out or eat in ur car like me. Last but not least, THIS IS CHINESE FOOD, so if you’re American and think Panda Express is better, please don’t bother to come lol.“

It always hits the spot and is very good I really recommend this spot for anyone that is looking to have a very delicious quick meal. The sweet sauce they have for the veges tacos is really good.
