“It’s a wonderful place because she started to go in and get the broth but my mom felt uneasy so it was just me eating so the worker took off her food so it’s just me eating then when we went to get the check the guy said it was on the house and it was the first time that happen to us and ps the food is SOOO good“
“I had my wedding at Diamond Seafood 3 in July 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The venue owner - uncle Bao, is an absolute professional and a huge help throughout the entire process. We had so many questions leading up to the big day, and he was always there, patiently answering everything and providing guidance. What really stood out was his genuine care in making our wedding affordable - he offered suggestions to minimize our budget wherever possible, rather than pushing us to spend more on additional services!
The venue itself was beautifully decorated - simple yet elegant, which perfectly suited the atmosphere we wanted to create. The food was amazing, served in large portions, and absolutely delicious! The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure everything ran smoothly.
After the wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests about both the food and the venue itself. I’m so grateful to uncle Bao for making our special day so beautiful and memorable. I highly recommend Diamond Seafood 3 to anyone looking for a wedding venue in OC - it truly exceeded our expectations!“

“Kung pao chicken and mushroom chicken with just chowmein is the best combo in any chinese places. Orange chicken is average, other chicken is great. The food tasted amazing, better than panda express. The service is average, sometimes they won't hear you and give you the wrong order, you got to repeat yourself alot of times. If you not picky than this is not a problem because everything in here taste great.“

“After visiting the OC/LA area, we're on the way back to the Bay Area, we wanted to have some lunch before we go. Some of the restaurant closed on Monday, one our friends recommended this place for real excellent egg noodles soups, so we stopped by, it's right next to PLT the big VN shopping center.
There's no parking for this restaurant, the whole block has a few parking spots and there's parking on the PLT but always full. We had to park outside on a different shopping center.
The restaurant is small and simple, clean. The owner or the care taker seems to be extremely friendly and attentive sitting us on a table.
The menu has quite a few dishes, but we're concentrating on egg noodle soup for lunch so we ordered the special bowl of rice noodles instead of egg noodles. It's quite good, quite tasty with chinese crispy donuts.
We had a great lunch and the price is extremely inexpensive. Ready to drive home.“

“Have been picking up takeout from this neighborhood staple for 26 years and I know people who have been eating here since 1990. D Thai Chinese is apparently a one-woman operation; the owner takes orders, cooks, serves etc. all by herself, and she is so sweet and friendly.
I can only respect how D Thai's prices remain lower than other Thai/Chinese places in the area, although the prices have been raised in the last year or so (two dollars up per lunch and dinner special). The quality of the food however has remained reliably good, fresh cooked to order, and flavorful. I don't know enough about Chinese or Thai cooking to comment on how authentic it is, but it's pretty good in my opinion and that's what matters most to me.
I've tried most of the menu over the years and the standouts to me are the fried rice, thai basil chicken, mongolian beef, beef salads, and pad see ew. The majority of the menu is four stars, but those are the five star items in my experience.
Be advised, cash only and takeout only! For what it is -- a takeout Asian hole-in-the-wall restaurant -- D Thai is a respectable local treat that I will allow myself pretty regularly within my budget. Since the owner lady is so likeable and impressive, and the food is plentiful and decent quality for your dollar, I have to rate this place five stars overall.
Thank you, nice owner lady, for your years of providing your good food and service to Westminster's hungry and grateful people!“

“I got the House Special Noodle Soup with the Egg noodle last night while visiting town. Holy moly was that good. I’m glad I got the soup. I usually do dry but the broth was very tasty. The chicken and char siu they include are super flavorful.“

“Their takeout is definitely worth trying! We ordered the roast pork with rice, which came with green beans. It was simple but tasty—though we would have preferred the pork warmed up. There wasn’t much seasoning, but the crispy skin and rich fat made up for it. We also tried the BBQ pork, which was nicely charred and tender. The added BBQ sauce had a subtle sweetness that paired well with the rice. It’s cash only, no tip expected, and the service was quick and easy.“

“If you are looking for lo mein noodle place this is the spot! Bring a Vietnamese fluent friend if able :)
I would recommend ordering the dry noodle dish to start, that way you can experience the raw flavor before adding the soup based in (soup is included). BBQ ducks is my favorite protein there, they cook it well and add alot of flavor to the dish.
Of course all chinese dish comes slightly on the saltier and slightly oily, so it isn’t for everyone. However the restaurant really reminds me of homeland Vietnam streets when it’s busy!
Overall definitely recommend giving this place a try!
(On the side note addressing to previous reviewers)
I really don’t know why people are buying rice noodles and then expect pho restaurants level perfections.
Mi La Cay is a Viet inspired Chinese cuisine, lo mein and rice dish are their specialty.
Also, they keep the price low by doing cash only, like most family ran asian restaurants.“

“My 2G2G review that was not shared with you: It's authentic typical foods alright. The young Asian waiter has good manner (hard to find nowadays). It's a good bargain for 2G2G. I have 2 Styrofoam boxes of foods. Enough carb but also veggies and meats. Feels like the old days in an Asian restaurant (just for the food part).“

“I’ve been craving Mongolian Bbq for a while but haven’t really explored. Saw this place with good ratings and must say, the ratings didn’t lie! It’s a cosy hole in the wall place which you know that means it’s good. Staff are very friendly and attentive, explaining the menu and how this roll. I got the all you can eat with my boyfriend, it was so much food! I will absolutely come again and I will highly recommend this place to friends!“
