“Happy Lamb offers a lunch special for $21.99 Monday through Friday, available until 3:00 PM (last call at 2:45 PM). The food is really good, and the service is decent. Overall, it’s a solid spot with good food and a reasonable midday deal.“

“After visiting the OC/LA area, we're on the way back to the Bay Area, we wanted to have some lunch before we go. Some of the restaurant closed on Monday, one our friends recommended this place for real excellent egg noodles soups, so we stopped by, it's right next to PLT the big VN shopping center.
There's no parking for this restaurant, the whole block has a few parking spots and there's parking on the PLT but always full. We had to park outside on a different shopping center.
The restaurant is small and simple, clean. The owner or the care taker seems to be extremely friendly and attentive sitting us on a table.
The menu has quite a few dishes, but we're concentrating on egg noodle soup for lunch so we ordered the special bowl of rice noodles instead of egg noodles. It's quite good, quite tasty with chinese crispy donuts.
We had a great lunch and the price is extremely inexpensive. Ready to drive home.“
“I had my wedding at Diamond Seafood 3 in July 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The venue owner - uncle Bao, is an absolute professional and a huge help throughout the entire process. We had so many questions leading up to the big day, and he was always there, patiently answering everything and providing guidance. What really stood out was his genuine care in making our wedding affordable - he offered suggestions to minimize our budget wherever possible, rather than pushing us to spend more on additional services!
The venue itself was beautifully decorated - simple yet elegant, which perfectly suited the atmosphere we wanted to create. The food was amazing, served in large portions, and absolutely delicious! The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure everything ran smoothly.
After the wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests about both the food and the venue itself. I’m so grateful to uncle Bao for making our special day so beautiful and memorable. I highly recommend Diamond Seafood 3 to anyone looking for a wedding venue in OC - it truly exceeded our expectations!“

“Incredible blast from the past eating here again, my HK Express shut down years ago in town and I haven't had it since. They put Panda to SHAME!! The food is actually made with love, they stuff the 2-item to the brim! I will be coming back, especially to try a new special. The jalapeno chicken was insane.“

“I hadn't been here in a bit - I think last time was March, 2025. But, I had to share my last couple of experiences. This was not true of all of the food, because the food is 99.9% of the time excellent. And I love it, and I love going here in general because the people are wonderful. It's only a problem with the chow mein I ordered. And I have almost nothing but positive experiences. Anyway...
The chow mein, while obviously fresh, tasted like soap the last couple times I have been there. Which is too bad because I absolutely loved going here. But ever since I got chow mein that tasted like soap, I have been skittish about returning.“
“One of the Korean biggest international food chain that you need to try! Their food is delicious and comforting.
I had:
1. Stir-fried jajangmyeon
2. Meat jjampong
3. Shrimp fried rice
4. Sweet and sour pork
5. Sweet and spicy chicken wings“

“Have been picking up takeout from this neighborhood staple for 26 years and I know people who have been eating here since 1990. D Thai Chinese is apparently a one-woman operation; the owner takes orders, cooks, serves etc. all by herself, and she is so sweet and friendly.
I can only respect how D Thai's prices remain lower than other Thai/Chinese places in the area, although the prices have been raised in the last year or so (two dollars up per lunch and dinner special). The quality of the food however has remained reliably good, fresh cooked to order, and flavorful. I don't know enough about Chinese or Thai cooking to comment on how authentic it is, but it's pretty good in my opinion and that's what matters most to me.
I've tried most of the menu over the years and the standouts to me are the fried rice, thai basil chicken, mongolian beef, beef salads, and pad see ew. The majority of the menu is four stars, but those are the five star items in my experience.
Be advised, cash only and takeout only! For what it is -- a takeout Asian hole-in-the-wall restaurant -- D Thai is a respectable local treat that I will allow myself pretty regularly within my budget. Since the owner lady is so likeable and impressive, and the food is plentiful and decent quality for your dollar, I have to rate this place five stars overall.
Thank you, nice owner lady, for your years of providing your good food and service to Westminster's hungry and grateful people!“

“One of my favorite restaurants in Bolsa is Luc Dinh Ky 2.
I truly enjoy the food here, but what makes this place special is the people. The staff are friendly, warm, and always treat me like family. Since I live and work around this area, this restaurant has become one of my regular places.
My office, Kim Quang Mahakala Feng Shui, is located nearby on Garden Grove Blvd. Whenever I need to prepare offerings for spiritual work or rituals, I often come here to buy food because the quality and energy feel right.
As a feng shui consultant, I can feel that this place has good chi, a smooth flow of energy, and a welcoming atmosphere. That is one reason why the business can run well, the staff can work effectively, and customers feel comfortable coming back.
From a feng shui perspective, I believe this place can become even stronger by adding more fresh flowers every week. Real flowers bring living energy, beauty, freshness, and prosperity into a business space. The money spent on flowers is not just decoration — it is an energy investment that can attract more customers, better flow, and stronger business luck.
Wishing Luc Dinh Ky 2 continued success, more customers, and even greater prosperity.“

“This is a small food purveyor. They are best know for their delicious Roast Duck and cooled pork products. The food is delicious, very old school. We travel from Mission Viejo regularly for their food. Again it’s a small “hole in the wall” “mom and pop” place.
The way we found this place was we went to eat at another restaurant in the same strip mall and saw a long line of locals going out the door and down past several other stores. You could see the duck, chicken, pork ribs and belly hanging in the window. As fast and the cook brought them out to hang, people were buy up the succullent meats.
So you gotta stop by and buy some of their meats and other dishes to bring home
Or to work. You won’t be disappointed.“

“If you are looking for lo mein noodle place this is the spot! Bring a Vietnamese fluent friend if able :)
I would recommend ordering the dry noodle dish to start, that way you can experience the raw flavor before adding the soup based in (soup is included). BBQ ducks is my favorite protein there, they cook it well and add alot of flavor to the dish.
Of course all chinese dish comes slightly on the saltier and slightly oily, so it isn’t for everyone. However the restaurant really reminds me of homeland Vietnam streets when it’s busy!
Overall definitely recommend giving this place a try!
(On the side note addressing to previous reviewers)
I really don’t know why people are buying rice noodles and then expect pho restaurants level perfections.
Mi La Cay is a Viet inspired Chinese cuisine, lo mein and rice dish are their specialty.
Also, they keep the price low by doing cash only, like most family ran asian restaurants.“

“They have a great variety of dim sum options, so there's something for everyone. My absolute favorites were the yellow salted duck egg lava buns—the filling was perfectly molten and so satisfying—and the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves, which was packed with flavor.
I also ordered the combination hủ tiếu with half egg noodles and half rice noodles, and it was such a good choice. The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting, and all of the toppings were fresh. I'd honestly come back just for the hủ tiếu alone.
Don't skip the sugar cane drink either—it was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The restaurant is conveniently located right off Beach Blvd, making it super easy to find. On top of the delicious food, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm craving dim sum or a comforting bowl of hủ tiếu!“

“Extremely compliant with current COVID 19 guidelines and well stocked and operated. Food is hot and delicious. Prices are fair. My only quip would be to better regulate the number of customers inside and sterner enforcement of social distancing.“
