“Food was decent, but I have had better Malatang places (YGF being one of them). What ended up feeling awkward was the service tip. I pick up my own food selftion (as the food is priced by the pound, based on how much I pick up) and place the orders myself at the counter, but the bill recommends tip range between 18% and 22%, after tax. I usually tip 18% or above in full service restaurants, but this one, I wasn’t so sure. Still ended up tipping as if it was a full service restaurant. Overall, four stars as it gets the job done, but food quality and services comes short of 5 stars.“

Our personal faves were the different kebab skewers. Service was a stand-out as well. Our servers were all friendly and helpful.“

“I gave Panda Express a second chance today with my dining plan and the portions are much than the last time I was there in April when I first started using the dining plan and used it towards Panda Express in this location the first time was disappointing and the second chance was a much better experience“

I usually go for jjangmyun either regular or spicy and it's always consistent but unfortunately service, usually it is great but it's not consistent where one time the cashier is smiling and suggesting other items but sometimes I can sense the cashier wants me to rush and decide when there was no one behind me. So overall I like this place, also just a teeny suggestions if I may add is if they can have some sort of kimchi either with regular cabbage or Napa cabbage. ☺️“

“I come here frequently because the food is consistently so good and I find myself craving it quite a bit. I like the space, it's very casual and good for groups (both large and small). I come with my family a lot but I also bring my friends here whenever I can and we end up sharing about 3-4 plates since most of the items come family style. The servers are usually older women and they've all been very sweet! It's a real mom & pop shop type of place so if you like supporting small and local businesses I definitely recommend checking it out!
Some highlights for me are the spice fried shrimp, walnut shrimp, jjajangmyun, and the pork meatballs!“
